Reviews for Hotel AlpenSchlössl

Review 1:Lack of jacuzzi & hot tub. Compulsory nudity in spa area with presence of teenagers. Stuffiness/airlessness of our room as it was freezing to open the external door onto the balcony in winter and leave open to get some air and no aircon in room. No spa slippers in room. Guests smoking in hotel which is still allowed in Austria.

Review 2:Friendliness/helpfulness of staff. The receptionist went out of her way to let us checkout slightly later due to ski lesson that morning. Always greeted with a smile at dinner and the hotel bar. Complimentary Söll buses serve the area to Söll skilift twice/day.

Review 3:Perfect ambiance, super spa, good dinners, excellent client management and relations, the hotel owner Karen is very responsive and client oriented lady

Review 4:Would have loved a Jacuzzi at poolside with a view like that . It would be heaven Also a double bed as opposed to twin beds.

Review 5:We loved Alpenschossl. The hotel and staff were so lovely. What a location, and what comfort

Review 6:A car is a must as long trek uphill from soll and ski bus only goes early in the morning. Rooms were cold, bedding not adequate

Review 7:Scenic location Nice pool Food was adequate

Review 8:Coming home!!!

Review 9:The staff were above and beyond helpful and Mrs agar the owner was the same. The hotel was a half hour walk out of Soll but the beautiful views on your way make it a lovely walk. There's a free bus or the Stevan taxis are good (6euros for 5 people) the food in the hotel was very Al a carte but very accommodating to the point they made scnichel for my partner. The wifi was free but was slow on a night time as lots of people using it.. But we were not bothered. The hotel drink prices were excellent, no more expensive than the bars in soll. We were always warm, and could have stayed here longer.. The spa was lovely, no jacuzzi but everything else! (Naked people in the sauna though, I kept my kit on) lol!!! There was even a drying/ironing room for ski gear. But the radiators in your room were enough! The balcony on the room was a blessing, waking up to amazing views and sitting taking it all in! Didn't want to come home! Highly recommend this hotel! This holiday was amazing!!

Review 10:The swimming pool was too cold for my taste. A fitness room could be a nice addition

Review 11:The location and the hotel itself.

Review 12:Nothing

Review 13:Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely food and a good bar. Rooms were very comfortable.

Review 14:the bed toilet Sauna only for nude people Infrared sauna should have booking fasility

Review 15:atmosfare

Review 16:Only wifi in bar area. Chambermaids too quick had to remove them everyday from room when we got back from breakfast.

Review 17:Food excellent

Review 18:small bathrobe

Review 19:wellness; bar;food

Review 20:The ONLY thing that needs improvement îs the WiFi Availability ( only in the loby and a poor signal).

Review 21:Excelent food, rom and a very friendly staff.

Review 22:The snack in the afternoon was a bit fussy. When we went back from skiing there were almost nothing left and it was really there that you need it. There could have been both coffee and tea, it is nice with a hot drink and not that expensive for the hotel to offer that as well along with the snack.

Review 23:Very nice place. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. Will definitely return.

Review 24:Disappointed with smoking in the bar area, no place for non-smokers to relax, which did spoil my holiday and made it difficult to sit in the bar area, so retreated to our room every evening after dinner Afternoon snacke available, but, had to pay for Tea and Coffee, which I though was unfair

Review 25:Friendly staffs and helpful Entertainment a couple of evenings which was good especially News Eve Very good food A lovely friendly hotel! but, a little far out, but, we did have a car which made travelling to slopes no problem about a 5 min drive from hotel to Soll slopes Buses available to slopes from hotel for free Lovely rooms with bath and great views

Review 26:On checking out, I was presented with a bill which showed I had to paydouble than was quoted through booking.com. The helpful young lady atthe reception, seeing my surprised look at the bill, soon rectified it,and told me that she made a mistake and was sorted out immediately. Sono real issue there :-))

Review 27:My family entirely enjoyed our stay last weekend. Great family room withwonderful views and great food and service. Will be back !!

Review 28:Excellent well maintained hotel. Very large room. Wonderful view of mountains and valley from our balcony. Dinners were excellent. Menu had 3 different entrees per night; meat, fish and vegiterian. Breakfasts also very good. Hotel staff very personable and helpful. Nice little touches from a family run hotel. Lots of hiking options. Well maintained trails surround hotel and nearby village of Soll. Nearby ski trails provided other options

Review 29:Booking . com shows the alpenschlossel in the ad but we where put in theagerhof ?an old gasthaus with peeling walls in bathroom brokenfurnitures no heat it was very cold and the most disturbing aspect itdit not notice any firealarms in the room or building this building isbeyond repair it needs to be demolished

Review 30:The hotel is quite isolated, great if that's what you want. A car is therefore definitely recommended.

Review 31:Large, very comfortable room with a big balcony looking out over stunning views of the Austrian Alps. The staff were all friendly and keen to help.

Review 32:Staff were so friendly and attended to our evey need, located a little outside town but getting a taxi was no problem. Food was plentiful and of a decent standard.

Review 33:I searched on 4 star hotels. I booked a room base on the pictures and facilities shown on the web page. When I arrived at the hotel I found that I had unknowingly booked a room in an old 3 star hotel next door. The staff offered me an upgrade to the main hotel for another 80 euro’s / night . I argued my case and they dropped the extra charge. When I read the booking confirmation form 2/3 down it read: Room 1, Double Room Agerhof These rooms are located at the Agerhof building, a traditional and rustic guest house situated right next to the main building. Please note that these are 3-star rooms. Guests can use all facilities of the 4-star hotel (restaurant, spa area, bar and lounge) free of charge. The moral of this story is “Be careful of Greedy Austrians”

Review 34:Went with a group of friends on a ski trip and stayed for a longweekend. The staff were excellent and friendly, we found the hotel verygood value for money. The rooms in the agerhof were basic butcomfortable and a good size. We were a bit worried about getting intotown, but taxis came straight away and charged 2 euros per person. Wecame back to the hotel bar in the evening because it was considerablyless smokey than all the bars in town. Breakfast was a good buffetstyle, and the scrambled eggs were real eggs rather than powder. Thesauna area was good but we only used it once. We were told by a coupleof grumpy customers not to wear outside shoes in the pool area and notto talk in the sauna! Getting to the slopes was easy as we had a hirecar, but the ski bus comes to the hotel anyway. Maarten at the bar keptsus entertained and fed with nibbles all evening, would certainlyrecommend it.

Review 35:Clean and big rooms and a beautiful view from the balcony. Nicebreakfast and a small, but good spa area.

Review 36:Could have had more bus trips to the town and ski lifts ended upgetting taxis

Review 37:Friendly
