Reviews for Mancini Park Hotel
Review 1:The staff are rude, I stayed with 10 others in the same hotel and every single one of us had several mosquito bites absolutely ridiculous. The food wasn't great and extremely expensive. They gave us additional charges for an extra room and only let us know on the last day of our stay!! The bathroom facilities are dreadful! The bedrooms look nothing like the pictures that they perceive to look like! The bedrooms are unhygienic.
Review 2:Absolutely nothing, only enjoyed the gym facilities other than that, absolutely nothing.
Review 3:A lot of the staff was really rude in the restaurant and at the reception, we litterally got robbed out of money. We booked four rooms online and when we left they said they made a mistake and gave us five rooms in total so we had to pay £400 and the amount of mosquito bites we got was unreal.
Review 4:breakfast is a bit bland and the wifi was very sporadic.....otherwise, no problems at all
Review 5:pool is fantastic, as is gym..rooms clean and nicely decorated.....2nd time we've stayed and we'll come back....
Review 6:I asked for three single beds, indicated via bookings website, however we got double and one single bed , and the single bed was just to foldable one, not as indicated on the website with pictures. And actually they didnot have those rooms with three single beds, so then don't put it. Also no airport shuttle although this was indicated on the bookings website and was main reason for choosing this hotel, so costed me another 50 euro and with that I could have chosen another hotel with real airport shuttle and closer to airport.
Review 7:Bed was ok, all you need to sleep one night as you need to go the airport early and it is only 117km away from the airport. Price is for Rome low, 100 EUR. Breakfast was good, typical Italian cafe cornetto was good and tasty as only Italians can make, cornetti warm from oven. Hotel was quiet.
Review 8:Takes 45 to 50 minutes to the center of Rome.
Review 9:Friendly staff. Very helpful the man in the reception. Close to bus station. About 10 min away from Ciampino airport. Clean. Nice breakfast.
Review 10:Comfortable, clean and friendly hotel, in a convenient location for my business meeting. The restaurant is very good and welcoming to a lone traveller.
Review 11:Good service
Review 12:The food was not good.
Review 13:Swimmingpoolarea, gym
Review 14:Fantastic garden!
Review 15:Wifi blocked a lot of website i needed to work with (including instagram). Far from civilization.
Review 16:The pool is nice and the price is not to expensive
Review 17:Fantastic swimming pool and gym. Good value, close to airport and Rome. friendly staff.
Review 18:The big Brother& brother party in the pool area that ruin the night sleep. Bad internet
Review 19:Near airport. Nice hotel.
Review 20:No wifi Our room was in an old part of the hotel or so it looks
Review 21:Good location . Good breakfast
Review 22:The whole package. Location, rooms, pool, gym, restaurant, grounds, and staff.
Review 23:Breakfast could be improved (with salt dishes, like scrambled eggs, sausages etc.). Fitness center should be open since 7:00 (and until late in the evening); opening at 10:00 is not very useful for business users. Football fields (very nice) are not avilable for hotel guests.
Review 24:Position is very good (close to GRA). Parking available if you have the car (and you NEED a car).
Review 25:I liked the staff and the atmosphere. The location was only 12 miles from Rome city centre and easily accessible by bus. The food in the restaurant was good. A very relaxing comfortable stay
Review 26:We were lucky to have friends living nearby who transported us on our trips out - this is not so convenient otherwise. Don't go for breakfast when there is a coach trip in - wait till they have gone and the staff have replenished the breakfast tables.
Review 27:We had a large double room with en-suite facilities and balcony with table and chairs. Good toiletries provided. Towels & bedding changed daily. Breakfast always the same but excellent quality and plentiful.
Review 28:Furniture needs a bit updating and more separation between balconies. Not much in surrounding area but if you have friends and visiting is ideal hotel.
Review 29:Swimming pool was massive, lovely hotel staff friendly and helpfull. Comfortable quiet peacefull hotel ..
Review 30:The air conditioning did not work great. Our rooms were located in a part of the hotel that could only be accessed by a solarium type staircase with no ventilation. It was always hot and humid in this area.
Review 31:We had connecting rooms which were both spacious, had nice views and balconys. The huge swimming pool was well maintained. Beautiful grounds and good restaurant. A good selection of breakfast items. A short walk to the bus stop and about a 15 minute bus ride to the Metro (subway) connection.
Review 32:Far away from citycenter. Few of cafes and bars arount.
Review 33:It was so nice to stay there. Staff is very friendly and pretty. Room is clean. Equipment works properly. No city noize. Charming place.
Review 34:Dusty bedroom, stayed for 5 nights but linen wasn't changed. Birdspoo on balcony's chair. Didn't feel welcome. Receptionist whochecked us in absolutely rude. Didn't like breakfast. Very poor.
Review 35:Location. Clean bathroom. Tv had many international channels.
Review 36:Staff on reception were initially cold - no smiles at all.Location: on the outside of EUR so not really near the city centre. If you are a tourist, this hotel is really only any good if you know Rome and are used to the buses, which you need to catch to get to the metro stations at EUR Fermi or Laurentina. The bus station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Review 37:The swimming pool.Flexibility of staff when it came to check-out time - they let me stay longer, which was good of them.
Review 38:Room, bathroom had no lights or not enough. A paper went under the bedand it was dirty.. I could clearly hear next room conversation.Breakfast was poor.
Review 39:The hotel is easy to reach from the gra and easy to reach theFair or eur.
Review 40:No footpath to the bus stop which is an issue in Italy. Most service staff were aperthic. God forbid they had to to do any work. Breakfast was average but great coffee.
Review 41:The pool was nice.
Review 42:The jacuzzi suction hole was not covered, it had been removed, probablytaken by another guest. Was hand got sucked in when switched on causinga slight bruise, the same happened to my wife. I notified the receptionthe next day and she stated she would notify the plumber - justmentioned in case you have a bath to check especially if you have ayoung child. It was the room up the black spiral staircase thatoverlooks the football pitch.
Review 43:Really good location to visit Rome. Near to the ringroad that goesaround Rome so you don't have to drive too far into the city. Plenty ofparking on site which is free. The room was really nice and a good size. The bathroom was open plan with a jacuzzi and seperate toilet. There wasa really large balcony where you could sit at a table or lie down in thesun. The only downside was the aircon did not work very well so the roomwas really warm. Staff pleasant, would stop again. Breakfast reasonable, you need to ask for coffee which they make fresh for you.For Rome it is a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the main road, catch the bus free to the Metro station where you purchase a E1.30 ticket which lasts 75 minutes. This allows you to get into the centre, plan your route before using the hotels free map and you can cover the main tourists areas on foot. On return where you get off the bus it is just a walk over the bridge and you are back where you started. Where you get off the bus there is a small shopping area approximately 100 metres away to the left with a reasonably priced restaurant and bar.
Review 44:Family room a bit small for four persons Restaurant did not serve pizzas and only a few traditional pastas
Review 45:Location near the City of Rome Nice Pool and sport centre
Review 46:Location off the beaten track & restaurant has limited choice forchildren.
Review 47:The pool was good based in self enclosed grounds. Attentive, helpful staff.
Review 48:Air condition did not work well. The restaurant is not worth a visit. The hamburgers for the kids and the steaks for the adults were terribleand the buffet table even worse. One of the waiters at breakfast made usfeel really unwanted. She had no smile, she just stared at us with coldand repellent eyes. Never seen anything close to this kind ofhospitality by any person before!
Review 49:The pool is great; especially for kids, quiet and topclass hotelarea, clean rooms, wi-fi works well, kind and helpful receptionists.
Review 50:It was very quiet (only few customers in the hotel) but still the staffwas not so keen to serve the clients.
Review 51:Nice and clean, especially the pool was well managed. Dinner at therestaurant was good.
Review 52:The area outside Mancini Park were not nice........
Review 53:Fantastic pool and football fields, staff serviceminded and most of themvery friendly.Nice with bar and restaurant at the hotel. Reasonableprices for food and drinks. Ciampino Airport 10 min away. Taxa to Romecentre 25 euro.
Review 54:There were a couple things I didn't like, but no place is perfect.First, it is very far from the major attractions like the colosseum,Vatican museum and all the other ruins. We had to take a 10 minute busride, which was hot and always packed with people to the metro, and thenfrom the metro we had another 5 + minutes to go wherever we wanted, butit was still manageable. One night we ate at a restaurant and both of myfriends meals were very badly cooked and they were pretty expensive. Mymeal was really good though. And the last thing I didn't like were thetwo ladies in the breakfast room. They just stared at us like weshouldn't be there. They were bitches.
Review 55:I really liked how cheap it was and how much it offered. The room wasvery nice along with the pool. I really enjoyed the free breakfast inthe morning, I really looked forward to do that when I stayed- thebreakfast was really good!. I also really enjoyed the landscaping of thehotel, I felt like I was at a really expensive hotel. The hotel hastopical trees around it and flowers and fountains which really made theatmosphere relaxing and serene. The receptionist was also very helpfuland nice. The two that we talked to helped us find our way to whereverwe needed to go and also gave us other helpful information, they werevery polite.
Review 56:The air con (end of June) was insufficient to cool the room. It wasincredibly difficult to find - despite Google help. There were littlethings that annoyed - had to change room because the toilet wasn'tworking; bar fridge wouldn't keep things cool; shower head was broken;light bulbs not working etc. otherwise an good place
Review 57:The pool was wonderful. The front desk manager was helpful, but otherstaff were not friendly at all.
Review 58:This hotel is not suitable for tourists who intend to visit Rome. It is really in the middle of nowhere. Unless you hire or own a car, do not go to this hotel.
Review 59:The pool was the best part of the hotel. The room was not impressive, but acceptable given the price and sufficiently comfortable. The room next door was smelly, as also mentioned in another review a read on booking.com.
Review 60:A comfortable and calm hotel in a nice park. Rooms are relatively small, but comfortable. Staff friendly and competent. Convenient for people who have to be treated at the IFO Hospital.
Review 61:no hot meals for breakfast, rooms didn´t smell well, musty bathroom, cold rooms,...
Review 62:staff was helpfull, good area for sports
Review 63:lots of ants in room
Review 64:beautiful pool air conditioned room mini bar in room breakfast room and food
Review 65:The Staff could have been a little more helpful
Review 66:The Pool and Gym Excellent Air Conditioning Good Breakfast Easy access to public transport
Review 67:air conditioning did hardly work
Review 68:breakfast
Review 69:The facilities were good but just a bit 'tired'. The airconditioning did not work.
Review 70:The hotel was spacious and the breakfast was good.
Review 71:It's too far to walk to underground station.
Review 72:Good location if you have a car. You can park at underground station and take subway into Rome.
Review 73:Excellent hotel. Sufficiently close to the airport after we arrived late. We did not go into Rome, but drove to Napels.
Review 74:very homy spacious, quiet, easy to gey around, buses close by
Review 75:The area around the hotel, ther isn't much to do or go.
Review 76:Large swimming pool with a clean 'air-con' room. Location near to airport.
Review 77:Hard to get hot water in bathroom. Shower door broken.
Review 78:Quiet location but near to bus and metro for city centre. Privateparking. Friendly staff.
Review 79:Air conditioning in the rooms was poor
Review 80:The restraint, the friendly staff and very helpful.
Review 81:The air conditioner did not work.
Review 82:Beautiful setting, away from the city. Bus stop nearby. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast.
