Review 1：Basic emenity like intercom was lacking....guests have to rush to reception every time...swimming pool horrible....even a child can't enjoy...just a showpiece.....never recommend in future.

Review 7：Everybody was so incredibly helpful and there was nothing that was too much trouble, we were given a room when we arrived at 9 am after an overnight journey even though check in is 3 pm, they arranged taxis and trips for us, always had a smile and a high five for the kids and couldn't have been nicer to all of us. We stayed for 8 nights and were provided with a toaster, cooker and a microwave for the duration so we could breakfast in comfort. Their recommendations for restaurants were absolute gems as well.

Review 8：Very friendly staff and owner who dealt promptly with requests. They provided new and/or replacement equipment that we asked for. The room was clean and unusually the electricity other than to the air conditioner was not controlled by the room key so fans stayed on permanently.

Inconvenience of paying 25% of the remaining day in case of checking out early. Paid taxes on top of the amount which resulted in a hefty charge on a per night basis even though it was off-season.

Review 13：We lost power a few times during our stay, but that wasn't completely unexpected due to the monsoons. We also wanted to use their pool, but couldn't because it wasn't cleaned.

Review 15：While booking it was written that breakfast is included, but the hotel denied. also it does not have parking, we have to park on road. we requested for paid morning tea, bt didnt got it as the staff said that the cook is on leave. We used to go out of the hotel to have it.they say they have restaurant bt they deny serving that as the cook is on leave. TV not working as the set top box needed to b recharged, after several requests they didnt recharge it.

Review 19：What I didn't like: This isn't so much specific to the hotel but to Goa more generally. I really didn't like the exorbitant price inflation directed toward tourists. That's a small thing. More importantly: by taking part in this (Goan) economy as a hotel- and restaurant-patronizing tourist, I came to realize that I am contributing to an economy that economically marginalizes farmers and people who practice other traditional livelihoods and often redirects big money toward speculators and foreign (intl and Indian) investors. Just a first trip impression. While I liked San Joao Holiday Homes very much, I feel like I should be very careful about how I participate in Goa's economy the next time I travel there.

Review 20：Very peaceful place to stay - at night, heard mostly crickets and birds. The place is surrounded by paddy fields and little roaming herds of water buffalo. The property is also quite charming. It is very close to one of the main churches in Benaulim (Holy Trinity), so you can attend (but service is in Konkani) or simply see people on their way to and from. It's about 1 km from the beach. Loved the little swimming pool. Loved the apartment concept - there is a nice amount of space, and one could be self-sufficient there with the kitchen (just a refrigerator, toaster oven, and sink in my room but you could do a lot with that). The staff and owner are very friendly and fun to talk to. It's common for people to say hi when they pass you on the street. People seem very, very relaxed. The weather was amazing while I was there - warm ocean, heavy breeze. The food was amazing.

Manager - Brice - is the best Hotel Manager in the worls - he helps us with everything: rent a bike, find shops, find where to go fishing, pay for mobile phone etc - THANK YOU for that, Brice! Very big and clean room with kitchen, near to the beach - but still in a very calm and peaceful place - we LOVED it!

Banaulim beach which is the cleanest of all Goa beaches, is in walking distance. The silky sand of the beach is very nice. The pool is nice and our room was overlooking the pool, which is very soothing.

Review 64：Bathroom sink tap did not work at all, as we were there for only one night it did nor affect us too much but when we mentioned it to reception on checking out, they didn't seem to care.

Review 65：We went to Benaulim for one night to attend a Christening, so for us the price was a draw. Location of the apartments to the beach is quite good though you need either your own transport or to use a taxi or rickshaw. Can't say we would be happy spending a few weeks there. Benaulim itself a lovely place, the beach was beautiful and Johncy's beach shack near the car park serves the best breakfast we have had in Goa!

Almost all rooms have national or portuguese flavor and new bathroom facilities. It is not far from beach, so you can walk and see the beauty of that place.
