Reviews for Le Stanze del Giglio

Review 1:Locating Le Stanze del Giglio was made difficult as the bar it is based above goes under a different name. I would recomment parking in the public carpark just below the town and taking the lifts up to town. Once you have checked in you will see how to get your car to the place to unload if necessary. (that said it was not too difficult and well worth the effort)

Review 2:Nice and friendly staff, rooms had all you could need. very clean and tidy. Located in th ecentre of the old town and all attractions are within walking distance. We were the only ones staying there and a were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the breakfast set out for us and the attentiveness of the staff.

Review 3:- Breakfast at the bar

Review 4:- Very charmy - Located very centrally in Narni

Review 5:None

Review 6:Location and room. Much bigger than expected. Very clean and comfortable. Staff willing to help.

Review 7:A little difficult to locate up behind the Bar on Via Garibaldi, and baggage to carry up stairs.

Review 8:Bright and airy modernism thru-out

Review 9:Nice big room, excellent location in the middle of town. Free parking once you figure out to park in spots outlined in white, you have to pay for spots with blue lines.

Review 10:Nothing

Review 11:Really couldn't be closer to the centre of the town! Friendly staff, spacious room (the building is a former palace), really appreciated the self-catering facilities as I stayed there at the beginning of my trip. The restaurant attached to the buidling is excellent.

Review 12:elevator from car park was not working - not the fault of the hotel: it's a trek up the stairs without the two elevators Stairs in room to sleeping area could be a problem for people with mobility issues

Review 13:Excellent Location in historic centre Big rooms Good to have bar, restaurant and self-catering rooms, with independent entrance to rooms in same building Good restaurant

Review 14:very minor problems: - we never got the internet working - the flushing - the language skills of the staff

Review 15:one of the best hotel rooms I've ever got. don't know if it was because we were there off season, but we got a really great room at a very cheap price. helpful staff, great view down at the main street and a really great building.

Review 16:No regular reception services available. Hotel is above abar/restaurant and when you need some services you must refer to thebar personnel which have to make you a favour... Essential info notgiven (E.g - the free parking area which is mentioned in web site wasclosed on saturdays - we had our car removed by police. Wi Fi info wasgiven correctly just 3 days aft arrival. Malfunctioning of heatingsystem which caused noise at nights was fixed just aft 3 days.Kitchenette is mentioned in web site but missed an electric tea kettleand a microwave. Owner , who didnt like comments, said kitchenette isjust an option, but we saw it is mentioned in web site as part of theappartment. (Note: regularly when appartment is advertised as containingkitchnette, then hotel's breakfast is optional, not thekitchenette...)

Review 17:Interesting location within an old medieval town street.

Review 18:The apartment was very spacious. The hotel had been an ancient palace at one time and converted tastefully into apartments.
