Reviews for Miriam guest house
Review 1:Everything was so lovely! The deluxe double bedroom was huge. The breakfast was DIY style, with a huge selection in the awesome kitchen. Don't miss the labaneh or the jams! The shower had a whirlpool tub ^_^ There were cute tortoises in the yard and lovely fruit trees. Amal, the hostess, is very knowledgeable about the area. Her recommendations on places to eat, especially for falafel (g'abry, by the church) and Knafe (nablusi) were excellent. The ancient arab style construction of the building gave the room tons of character, and the whole guest house was furnished in good taste and very comfortable. One thing to note which is not bad but a result of me trusting tech too much- is that when we first arrived, we had some difficulty finding the place. I *should* have listened to Amal's pre-sent instructions instead of pigheadedly using the GPS - but that's my bad! (seriously, google maps will take you on some precarious paths) Just stick to the main roads, and set your sights to the Olga restaurant, and follow Amal's instructions and you can't miss it. We had a wonderful time!
Review 2:We had a perfect stay at the guest house - a friendly, clean, comfortabe place-perfect to visit Nazareth and Sea Galiläi. The family gave us a lot of usefull information for our trip. If you have a car-there are parking spaces just in front of the house. A really good breakfast with Eggs, Bread, cake, cheese, yoghurt, homemade hummus. We can totally recommend this place
Review 3:The room is exactly what it looked like in the picture, except you can't see the size of the room. The room was HUGE with a big window and a garden (complete with a family of tortoises) right outside. We were the only ones staying at the time, so we had the entire ground floor of the house to ourselves and it was fantastic. They let us stay till late evening as we had an early morning flight the next day. The breakfast was excellent with loads of options. We chose to do it ourselves but the owner offered to make breakfast for us several times. The owner of the house is very warm and welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. She was so concerned about us getting back to Tel Aviv that she printed out all the bus timings, train connections and made sure we had all the information needed. Everything was beyond perfect!
Review 4:Miriam Guest House has been the best accomodation I had during my travels through Israel. I immediately felt comfortable there. The house has a very nice and modern interior, i.e. kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything is very spacious. The hosts are fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the town, region and country. The breakfast is really nice with lots of choices. Also you can have water, tea and coffee whenever you like. The Mary's Well and Greek Orthodoxian Church as well as the lively square with lots of restaurants, coffee places and an excellent Falafel booth are in 3 minutes walking distance only. It's a safe area also at night. If I ever come back to Nazareth I'll definitely choose this place again!
Review 5:A little hard to find on arrival, as not all GPS systems are accurate any the street names and signs are a mess in town. Google Maps solved the problem easily
Review 6:Very nice, spacious and comfortable room located a few steps away of the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation and about 10 minutes walk from the Catholic Basilica. The nicest restaurants in town are located a few steps away The hosts were very friendly and caring, and provided very valuable additional information about Nazareth, the region and beyond
Review 7:The access to the house is up a tiny winding street sometimes blocked with other cars. Our driver managed to negotiate it successfully in our small hire car but a less confident driver may have problems. That's the only negative I have about the whole place.
Review 8:The host, a lovely lady called Amal, was very attentive and helpful without being too involved. The accommodation is extremely nice, new, stylish, comfortable. The area is quiet. There's even a separate entrance and a little terrace and the smell of the flowers in the evening from the garden was gorgeous.
Review 9:Sweet accomodation and friendly hosts who took us to the third floor of the building and showed us a great view over entire Nazareth. Also helped us with finding an exchange place and Restaurants. Highly recommended.
