Reviews for Al-Hakim Guest House

Review 1:There were some loud voices in the neighborhood after 11:00 pm which woke us up because we thought they were inside the hotel. This is the downside to the open-air hallway I suppose.

Review 2:Hidden beauty. Open air hallways. Very clean throughout and good security. Steps away from market, restaurants (Tishreen), and Biblical sites. Newly remodeled, very clean rooms. Owner very nice and provided a personal touch. Other staff members also very nice and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with so many unique salads to choose from (Mideast fusion cooking approach). There are a few good places in Nazareth similar to this hotel but this one is by far the best I have seen.

Review 3:The hosts were warm and friendly and easy to ask for help of any kind The couple are a retired school principal who's an amazing cook and he is a retired banker who is also a professional tour guide for all of Israel!

Review 4:The family runned guest house enables you to stay as you are living at home. The owners are so kind, warm and hospitable to their guests. The breakfast is very nice and tasty with a variety kinds of local dishes. The room are spacial and clean. I enjoyed very much during my stay.

Review 5:The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful; the rooms are clean and very comfortable. In a perfect location for exploring the old city of Nazareth. High recommended

Review 6:The rooms are renovated and clean which is great, but they have no windows. In few rooms there are small halls on top that are not really windows. The big problem is that hot water are shared, so if you come late it's your problem. We had freezing water and when we complained the owners disregarded our claims. Finally, the wireless internet did not work in our room and the TV cables were disconnected . In most places, owners would try to find a way to compensate for such flaws, but not here. When you take everything under account the place simply does not worth the high price they ask for.

Review 7:Hosts were friendly. Let us use their milk for coffee and also prepared arabic coffee during the day. very mice and generous. In addition, the renovated house is beautiful and it was nice to hear about its family history.

Review 8:We enjoyed very much the location which was very central, close to all the highlights of Nazareth, and yet very quiet and peaceful. Most and foremost we enjoyed our hosts, Abir and Raeyq, who were absolutely charming in every respect. My spouse had his birthday around the time we were here and they surprised us with a bottle of wine and glasses for the entire family to make a toast.

Review 9:Just a few small things. Air is a bit moist during the night (probably because it's a monumental building), bed was a bit short for taller guests and you could hear noises from other rooms and the kitchen, which wasn't a problem for us but this might be different when the hotel is fully booked.

Review 10:Owners make a great effort to ensure your stay is perfect. Even gave us a free ride to the bus station in a different city. Beautifully renovated and decorated, breakfast was delicious. Owners really make you feel at home and location is splendid!

Review 11:parking was difficult. the rooms are very simple and windows open into the open corridor or are very high and difficult to reach.

Review 12:the location is great for a tour of Nazareth. the building is old and beautiful. The owners went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. breakfast was wonderful.

Review 13:One of the bedrooms downstairs is a bit dark (small window does not open completely)

Review 14:Best place to stay in Nazareth. This old-stone house that belonged to the family (the grandfather was a carpenter) was renovated with great taste . Rooms and beds are very confortable. Breakfast is served in a beautiful high-ceiling room and offers high-quality food. The hostess and her family do everything they can to make you feel at home.
