Review 1：Zero interaction with staff, only nice person was the guy who checked us in . We were not even asked if we enjoyed our stay when checking out. Our room was over service entrance and was very loud from 5 am to 9am the pool was not in use.

Review 3：Small and smelly bathroom. Hotel after season with no guests was a bit spooky. Rooms arranged without any creativity and with old furniture. On Saturday loud weddingparty till two o'clock. Breakfast in discounterquality. Perhaps better adress during the season in summer.

Review 6：Everything! During our stay our two year old son fell and banged his head. The staff at the hotel were amazing. The hotel owner drove us to the hospital, made sure we were ok and sorted further transport. They helped us with our rooms and were genuinely concerned and caring. Thank you so much to you all. The hotel is fantastic in a breathtaking location with excellent amenities. We cannot wait to visit again.

Review 7：The only issues I had were fairly minor ones. An iron and ironing board in the superior room would've been very useful. It would've been nice to see the beautiful bar beside reception in working order. A little extra bread selection at breakfast would've been nice (eg: panini) especially to go with the cheeses and cold meat platter.

Review 8：Location is excellent. Superior room with terrace was excellent....views were amazing! Air-con was good. Food was good. Staff were very helpful, very friendly, and spoke good english. The variety of outside sitting areas was excellent. The pool area is in a beautiful setting....very relaxing. The vending machine in the corridor was very useful. Pretty much loved everything about this hotel. Didn't want to leave......but I look forward to being back again next year.

Review 9：For a 4 star hotel, the breakfast was slight disappointment. Starting with far from fresh bread and finishing with simple lack of choice. If the heat and warm weather is an issue to offer good quality breakfast, then refrigerators or Menu breakfast would be solution. Also small details in the room one would not expect from the 4 star hotel, like, empty shower gel and noticeable dust underneath the beds.

Review 10：Location, location, location. Dinner was very good with small details that should be normal for high quality restaurants, e.g. bread was not fresh. Quality of food and service was just excellent. Pool area has a beautiful view and was really nice. English language skills of service people were very good compare to average level in Italy. View from the restaurant and hotel room is just stunning. Generally very nice hotel with excellent location and exclusive view.

Review 12：Two parties took place in the hotel premises during our 48 hr stay. It was rather noisy for us, who aimed to spend a quiet weekend.

Review 14：Hotel was 20 mins from the airport, found it easily with google maps, typically Italian, very friendly. Not many people but service from Paul the waiter was great. Food simply gorgeous and good value. Kids very welcome.

Review 19：This place is a dump, i would not recommend it to anyone. It smells bad, the whole atmosphere is similar to a place where workmen would stay while away working, or Battersea Travelodge. it's expensive. Very disappointing, avoid!

Review 21：The hotel is sited on a rocky wooded hillside (great for views) it is a down hill walk of about 2 miles to the local village (dropping about 300meters not so nice on the way back) off road walking is not an option near the hotel. We used a taxi from the hotel to go about 2 miles it cost 20 Euro's one way and 25 Euro's back at midnight!!! We will here a car next time!

Review 22：The staff were very attentive. Food excellent bit expensive wine was great and good value! Pool was clean area around a little tied but looked after, we had the pool to our selves all week! Lovely. The views were outstanding, breakfast on the terrace, continental or for me scrambled egg bacon toast and a selection of coffee's 5miles of lake, wooded hillside and Italian villages spread out in front of you! Great start to the day!!!

Review 49：The staff was great. Thoughtful, kind, considerate and helpful. The location on the lake was secluded and within walking distance of the town. The food was above average and reasonably priced.

Review 50：The smell of the drains when we first went to our room, this took a day or two to clear. Also when we changed rooms this was at the back of the hotel and there was a loudish noise all night from the machines in the kitchens (probably the fridges) as they turned off and on

Review 51：We loved all the staff. Our first room was very good, situted at the front of the hotel.

Review 52：We were given rooms from the back facing wall and noisy air con machines. Otherwise rooms were nice. Our plan was to relax by the pool side and enjoy the restaurant for the weekend. Instead both Saturday and Sunday the hotel had wedding reception whole day so access to the pool was limited only early morning and late in the evening. Sunday evening the wedding group kept noise with fireworks etc. Restaurant too was booked for these receptions. That's why we could not relax and enjoy as we had planned.

Review 53：Beautiful spot over looking lake Albano and Castel Gandolfo. The hotel has a good restaurant with views to the lake. Views are amazing. If you have a car there is many good local restaurants just 1-2 km away, not expensive. The hotel has a pool also with views to the lake.

Review 54：When booking it said you could get an airport tranfer. On phoning theysaid they did not do this and it cost 80 euros for the return transferswhich we hadn't accounted for

Review 57：we refused the first room, small room, little space, window could not be opened; the staff member said: oh, the repair will be done tomorrow(!), we said we did not want to stay there; then we got a room on the back of the hotel with a big airconditioner right outside our window (so we did not sleep to well because of the noise all night); they also forgot to give us back our passports while leaving; there was no attention for our stay (food, drinks, room, way out and in), so we won't visit this hotel again, sorry.

Review 61：Advertised as having shuttle service from Castelgandolfo station and toCiampino airport: when we enquired re airport shuttle we were told theydidn't go that far but would organise a taxi for us. As we were lookingforward to an enjoyable stay, airport was only 10km away and we did notenvisage an expensive taxi, we did not argue the point! We were givenour room, last one on a corridor in which workmen were busy renovatingneighbouring rooms: they were hammering away at 9.45pm until Icomplained to the builder. The smell of cigarette smoke wasoverwhelming as doors were left open. Our room was very small,overlooked a yard and our specifications on booking were ignored! Ourroom had obviously been a smoking one (ashtray present and smell ofsmoke) and single bed preference not respected. The hotel seems to be ahub for airline crew as we witnessed two shuttle trips to airportduring that evening. Obviously some differing rules!Dinner was ok, ifpricey. The following morning, taxi duly arrived, driver went intoreception to talk to receptionist, took us to airport - a 15 min, 10 kmdrive, where he then tried to scam us: meter stated 40 euros, which Irefused to pay as it was on 22 before we left the hotel. Driver thensaid no, the charge was 35 euros as agreed with his "colleague!" - whenquestioned, he admitted his colleague was the hotel - nice scam goingon! I sent him packing, in fluent Italian, with 20 euros which hesheepishly accepted! I am so angry at this end to a wonderful stay inItaly - where some people feel the need to "do" guests! Last point -having travelled extensively, I would query the 4 star status of thishotel: I have never seen one which offers a hand/shower pump soaprather than individual products - very cheap!

Review 65：The customer service was excellant, they made our short trip very enjoyable and could not do enough to help. There is stunning views and lovely sights to see. The food was delicious.

It's anaverage sized hotel, with a pool, free wifi and parking, and easy acessto the lake. The room was small but adequate, the breakfast was greatand I had a really nice relaxing time.
