Review 1：The toilet didn't have a ventilation system. When we asked to change room for that reason they said that they didn't have ventilation system at any of the rooms. After telling them that we were going to comment this they called after 10 minutes and proposed to take us in a three bed room, which we denied. The staff was young people, didn't look so experienced.

Review 8：The hotelroom was dirty, old, dark and full of cockroaches! We left the hotel immediately and moved to another one because we did not feel comfortable at all. Unfortunately, we didn't get our money back.

We were just wondering what they were ?The bathroom was very small but clean and nice otherwise. Also there was no hook to hang the towels..The door of the small refrigerator was wornout.

Review 18：Service by the reception was appalling. Both receptionists were hardly cordial. The service by the car rental co. which was booked through the hotel was as terrible. We had booked a car for the next day. The representative from the car rental was late by an hour, offered no apology and was in a rush to leave without properly inspecting the car with us (which we made him do). He brought a different car than was told to us by the hotel reception but gave no explanation. He also demanded an unreasonable amount for the fuel top-up the next day. The reception explained that he was late because he called the hotel that morning to confirm we needed the car and the hotel could not find us (we were at the breakfast area just steps away from the reception).

Review 19：Nicely furnished and clean room (with the exception of a not-so-modern TV and a small toilet), which we find more than befitting of the hotel's 2-star rating. We also enjoyed breakfast - the spread was satisfying and the area is on a patio situated beside a quiet pedestrian street. Many restaurants are located within short walking distance.

Review 26：We have arrived at the hotel very tired, after a long sea trip. Although the total has already been charged in advance, we were not able to enter our room, longer than half an hour due to electronic door lock failure and the reception was too snob to say even a "sorry". The shower and toilet were new and clean, but if you are an XL size, probably you will face a hard time turning your left or right in the shower.

Review 27：The hotel is at a 10 minutes walking distance from the old town. The toilet and shower were clean and new, but the rooms need a retouch. We had a balcony, but never prefered using it.

But as many things were great, we never thought it was a problem! Breakfast time could be extended to 10:30 am. The room I was initially given did not have a bath tub so I asked to be changed which the staff did without problem. The room was furnished comfortably with modern décor, I would say the pictures on the website are a fair representation. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet so I got a good nights sleep.

Review 50：Rooms can be on the noisy side: inner insulation is not that great so could hear neighbours, but when travelling in Greece you are well advices to bring earplugs anyway. Summer prices are a bit too high considering the value for money, but in winter this is perfect.

Review 51：Lydia Hotel is in a great spot if you are on a short stay and would like access to transport (taxis and buses are only a short walk away) and the shops and restaurants if Niohori. Nice elegant furniture, fantastic breakfast buffet, comfortable, inviting bar and reception area, staff is friendly, very helpful and relaxed. Good place to recover from strenuous travel. Especially good deal in winter.

Review 56：Very poor to charge for WiFiwhen it is available in most restaurants, airport, city squares etc. No real restaurant offered so did not like the fact that lunch and dinner were advertised but never happened, just a couple of dishes available from the bar. Poor Staff were helpful when asked but you had to ask, eg for air conditioner remote as room too hot. And for information about tours etc . None offered. Definitely moving into the off season.

Review 58：We rented a 2 bedroom apartment which was located on the top floor above level 3. The apt. look like it has not been renovated for a long time. In one of the bedroom, we found a large cockroach which probably came into the room through a large hole in the wall under the bathroom sink. The AC did not work in one of the bedrooms. The shower door was poorly constructed in one of the bathroom and water leaks out all over the floor when you take a shower. All of the kitchen facilities look like they haven't been updated for decades. The hallway carpets are filthy and looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a million years. Our apartment does not look like the pictures presented on Booking.com website. We peaked into one of the lower level rooms while it was being cleaned and it appeared that perhaps these lower rooms may have been in better shape. I would not return to this hotel until they do a complete revamp of all the rooms and facilities.

Review 59：Convenient location in New Town Rhodes. Close to restaurants, Butterfly car rental, & about 10-15 minutes walk to old town. Staff is friendly and helpful. The apartment we rented has a spacious deck which we had not expected.

Review 65：I chose this hotel as the pictures I saw looked good - the reality was as good as the pictures. I requested a little something romantic to be put in our room as a surprise treat for my husband and, although it was not there when we booked into our room, a bottle of sparkling white wine, 2 champagne flutes and a fruit plate appeared sometime in the evening whilst we were out. I had expected a small heart-shaped chocolate or rose petals on each pillow so was pleasantly surprised myself. Sadly, by the time we returned to our room that evening my husband was exhausted from the day's traveling and walking around the town so the sentiment was a little lost on him. I enjoyed it.

Review 66：We arrived a bit early but the reception staff was amazingly helpful. She gave us insightful tips and great recommendations. The hotel is spacious and in the less-touristic center of the city. It is mid-way between the beach and the old town so you can walk everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 82：Receptionists were unhelpful - I had a complaint and was told to wait around for 2 hours until she had chance to talk to a manager no facilities at all other than a bar breakfast was cheap and just not appetising! bar man unfriendly and rude - when he had to cover reception he was speaking in Greek to another customer saying how I could wait as he wasn't even supposed to be there! one morning there was no water - the same evening there was no hot water and no apologies from anyone I was charged £35 to stay in my room an extra 4 hours - my flight wasn't until midnight but I was supposed to vacate the room at midday - with no other facilities or a secure place to put my luggage this was not very convenient - they knew I was a solo traveller but would not do anything to accommodate me except make me pay the £35 which I thought was unreasonable especially as the hotel was no where near full! would never stay here again - the only thing it had going was that it had been newly refurbished and the breakfast staff made me feel welcome
