Review 1：We had a room with a small balcony and a lovely view, and although the room was nicely furnished we would have preferred it to have been a little larger.

Review 2：We liked the picturesque and peaceful location. The food was extremely enjoyable and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Review 3：We were not travelling by car on this occasion which was a disadvantage as it is a longish walk into Iseo and back. The railway station at Pilzone is close by although trains are infrequent. Our room was comfortable and nicely appointed although in our opinion it would be too compact for a stay of longer then a few days. That said, this is a very nice property which we would certainly recommend.

Review 4：The staff were excellent and views picturesque. The restaurant was extremely good, with wonderful menus and attentive service. We would certainly visit this hotel again.

Review 6：The location, situated right by the lake is second to none with superb views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The hotel has everything that you could want and fully justifies its 4 stars. Close enough to Iseo town for ferry trips around the lake and for the train and bus stations for longer trips. The breakfast was fantastic with so much choice you could have still been there at lunchtime!

Review 7：Beds were ok, but not particularly comfortable. A/C was very noisy, and essential due to heatwave at time of visit.

Review 22：Our stay in the Araba Fenice Hotel was perfect. We had a junior suite with a lake view. The room was lovely, bed comfortable, stunning view & fulfilled all our needs. We had dinner in the hotel's Bella Iseo restaurant every evening of our 3 night stay, on the terrace beside the lake. We had sun-downers while watching the glorious sunsets & enjoyed delicious food from a diverse & interesting menu. Dinu the barman offered advice on regional wines & mixed a great cuba libre. There was no point trying the other restaurants in the area because this restaurant was so good. Live entertainment on 2 nights. Breakfast on the terrace was delish...very continental! ~ a variety of hot & cold selections. Overall there is clearly a very professional team of people ensuring that this hotel provides great hospitality.

Review 23：We made the reservation following beautiful photos of the hotel and lake (6 months ahead), but got a room in a separate building, inside an internal court. No view of the lake at all, but located several meters from the railway. Moreover, the room was very simple and the decoration was ugly. Certainly not a 4 star hotel.

Review 49：The surrounding area was off putting with a large derelict complex and a railway line running immediately behind the hotel. The latter did not affect the rooms on the lake side but could be a problem at the rear.

The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of variety. The bedrooms on the lake side had delightful views and were very well equipped - the stain on the carpet let it down a bit..

Review 51：The Hotel had an Event programmed at the time of our Holidays. As a result, we did not have Access to the Swimming pool or the terrase. Far from what we were hoping to. Very bad experience

Food and wine was consistently very good indeed, also excellent value. Recommend eating here rather than driving to Iseo since the location might seem a bit inconvenient to some people. However the view is magnificent and using this as a base for exploring is just fine.

Review 58：The Air Cond in the room only worked on 1 night. The bar and hotel ran out of Vodka. The breakfasts were always cold from having no 'lighting gel' in the ban marie heaters.They cannot cook a piece of veal after 4 tries! There was no 'turn down' and reset bedroom in the evening (which is compulsory to be a 4star hotel in Italy). It was the worst hotel we have stayed in for many years and absolutely the worst 4star hotel we have ever satyed in.We will be writing to the Italian Tourist Board. A good example of why Italy is in serious financial difficulties.

Review 59：Nicely decorated moderised rooms. Good (English speaking) staff, except the chef who didn't arrive for work on the night we used the restaurant - disaster!

Review 60：There's not a lot in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: it'ssomewhat isolated.(We noted complaints in some booking.com feedback regarding the local train that passes quite close by. The train line is close to the hotel, but when we were there, the service seemed to consist of about one train every hour during the day and being only a small two-car unit and electric, we found the noise insignificant and it lasted only about 5 seconds. It really didn't have any effect on us).

Location totown was also reasonable, for 10 euros you can get into the center ofIseo from the hotel. Vineyard (for some wine tasting) are probably 10 to20 euros by cab in case you don't have a car or want to drink and drive.for a nice relaxing weekend in a good hotel with good food, I recommend this place.
