Review 1：We booked a room with 3 single beds, but when we got there the man working in the hotel told us we have to pay for extra payment for the third person and our room only can stay 2 people. What the hell is this! Never met this before. 3 single beds can only for 2 people! And we booked 3 nights. But we told the man that we only need to stay there for 2 nights he still asked us for the third night's extra person's payment.You must be kidding me!

Review 3：The breakfast was the only disappointment, but similar to many offered in Iceland.
Review 4：although the location next to a fuel station is not scenic, it is an easy walk into town and it was very quiet. This property is one of two or three on the block and includes a hostel. It seemed very new or remodeled. There is no staff on sight, you must call, but they showed up quickly after our arrival. The rooms are clean with modern furniture, a large desk, a spacious couch which could accomodate a third perso and very comfortable bed and pillows. The internet worked well as did all the internet in Iceland. It has coffee and tea available in the room. The bathroom is also spacious although the shower is not sloped and it can make for a wet floor if you aren't careful. This was the best value we found in Iceland and we would stay here again. The provided breakfast was mediocre, white bread, cornflakes, a few meat and cheeses. Do not miss the two restaurants in town, Pakkhus and Hamarhofnin, the best langoustine in Iceland. We arrived around 6 pm and left early the next day, so didn't see the town, but lots of scenic spots near by including the Jokulsarlon Lagoon and Skaftafell National Park.
Review 5：Place had the feel and looks of an institution. Nobody was at the desk. Sign said to call the "warden". Breakfast was plentiful, but in a separate building, again with the feel of a prison cafeteria.
Review 6：Having to travel for breakfast, this should be noted in your info to inform customers, especially as weather can be atrocious in Iceland as happened to us with heavy rain and very strong winds not happy...as with our current hotel stay in Reykjavik having to put on outdoor clothes and back, will use other agencies in future for booking. Breakfast milk and fruit not fresh and uncovered.

Breakfast was to be served at a different building, staff member was not overly interested in explaining where and waved a vague hand out the front door and said 'you'll see the sign'. We thought she meant the sign to the other hostel so went there, told that no it wasn't there that it was on the other side of town at a different guesthouse. There we were told that no it actually was back to our original place and just across the road and to look for a sign that said breakfast. So after being sent backwards and forwards across town we finally get our breakfast which turns out just to be cereal and some toast, not brilliant.

Review 18：wonderful stay, room was large and comfortable, only improvement. that could be made was if a .. a refrig was in room. We arrived late to this town,,, around 7:30, all the restaurants were filled, did not get a table to eat until 9PM.
Review 19：Unattractive building and location next to petrol station No staff on duty No facilities other than room General public able to walk around building adjacent to ground floor windows which do not have net curtain, or blinds, etc. so only way to ensure privacy was to draw curtains. Breakfast mediocre in bare, unhomely-feeling, echoing hall across the road from the room block. All guests dipping into communal butter tub isn't very hygienic and takes ages waiting for people to spread their toast whilst standing by the toaster!! Not impressed.

Review 22：First impression was not very positive (a barrack next to a petrol station), but inside it was pleasant – clean, warm, excellent wifi coverage in the whole building. Location is good, quiet, walking distance to a swimming pool and several good restaurants. I can definitely recommend the hotel for an overnight stay.

Review 32：Hofn Inn is a basic hotel. Room was very clean. Room had good heating and black out curtains. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again. Ate at a good restaurant, Kaffi Hornid. Didn't get to see much of Hofn. Only stayed 1 night and it was foggy when we got in and foggy when we left. It makes a good stopover if you're coming from Jokulsarlon lagoon.

Review 65：This is a relatively new and vey clean operation. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are better than most of the other places we stayed even a couple of the 5 star rated hotels in that they were not only nicely equipped, they were huge. This is an unassuming location but for the area I don't think you can do much better. Breakfast was down the road a block and better than most of the guesthouses we stayed in. We went to the glacier when we checked out and this was very convenient for the meet up place on the highway.

Review 68：The reception staff is not too friendly. We requested to have a double room that come with a sofa bed, which mentioned in the booking. The reception staff simply told us that is not allowed! Luckily the owner came and settled the room for us.

Breakfast buffet was served in another building close by and was very large- included eggs, breads and pastries, jams, meat and cheese, cereals, cucumbers, carrots, skyr, coffee, tea and juice. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Place is located right in the center of town next to a gas station and convenience store (very convenient indeed) and close to restaurants.
