Review 1：The location and the view is unsurpassed. I like that the hotel is convenient to the airport as well as to Palermo without being in the city. Ocean view room is worth it! Great pool!

Review 2：The room smelled on cigretes, actually all of the other rooms which were offered for the change smelled on cigaretes. The ceeling was falling of and we had a view directly into the klimate machinery for the Hotel. The worst thing was that at 7am there was NO hot water for showering and the Hotel still wanted to charge the full price and after all that NO apology was given by the Hotel staff, they actually arguied with me in a very bad maner ... There were way better Hotels in Sarajevo after the war, seriously. And I won't loose another word on staff.

Review 8：Our room wasn't the cleanest - terrible smell of damp that didn't dissipate during our 4-day stay - we didn't mind so much as we didn't plan to spend any time in the room. Beds and bathroom were cleaned well, however layer of dust on floor (fabulous parquet flooring unfortunately marked from where furniture had been dragged across it!), on window blinds - disappointing. Breakfast was horrendous for a 4* - tinned fruit, no fresh fruit juice, scrambled eggs that looked like a dose of food poisoning waiting to happen, breads not always fresh. Fresh whole fruit only available on 2 of the 4 mornings we were there.

Review 9：Location is fantastic, with amazing views, a massive salt-water pool and direct access to the sea for a swim. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Early check-in accommodated - a wonderful bonus. Air-con worked! Sea-view room with balcony - well worth the extra money - was fab to sit there and read in the early morning. Complimentary toiletries in bathroom and decent water pressure in shower. In-room safe, flat-screen tv (all in Italian!). Loved the pool - really really good! Hotel arranged taxi from the airport for us - Taxi Tomasso - fantastic guy, reasonably priced and we used him for all other excursions in Palermo - couldn't recommend him highly enough

Review 10：Hot water seemed to be dependant on the sun so turned cold when it rained! Salt water pool was warm and clean but poolside facilities very limited.

Review 11：Really good air conditioning offered relief from the stifling Sicilian heat! chamber maids attended daily and very good. Free safe in the room. Good choice for continental breakfast and jugs of excellent fresh coffee and hot milk brought to the table. Bus stops close by.

Review 14：The location right on the sea saves this hotel. While its generally clean, it's very tired and is in desperate need of a make over. If you are measuring this against most other 4 star hotels, you will struggle to compare it favourably. If they spent some money upgrading the hotel, it would be outstanding. The location is everything here and because of that I'd stay here again.

Review 15：The location is simply stunning, you won't get much better than this but you must have a sea view otherwise the car park isn't so pleasant! Love the town square and all the restaurants - some superb places to eat and great value also. Our first time in Sicily and will now make this a regular place to enjoy our holiday.

Review 16：On the day we were checking out the Maid burst into room at 9am, barely knocking as she entered. Pool was lovely and not too busy, however getting a sunlounger was a challenge! Could have done with a few more.

I went back to reception and they moved me, but my new room had two single beds, which wasn't a problem, but again, I had requested a double. Hotel staff were very helpful and obliging though. VERY dated rooms and communal areas, and the clientele all seemed to be 50+, not a good choice for young travellers if you want atmosphere.

Review 21：The pool was fantastic with lots of loungers and direct access to the sea down some quirky steps and rocky pier. Location was great, 5 min wander down to beach and multiple restaurants and gelaterias

Review 22：the rooms do need updating, our towel rail was hanging off the wall and just needs a refresh. Coffee for breakfast and juice were poor so meant that we only had it twice (went into town for the rest of the week)

We had a really bad experience on the bus and finding out about transportation to other parts of Sicily (problems in Palermo). This would include location of the main train and bus terminals in Palermo and maps of in-country bus and train routes.

Also there are mosquitoes (they provide an electricmosquito repellent, but we mostly had to close the windows for the nightanyway) I think you'd be better off taking a hotel close to thebeach, and for 100 euro instead of 200

The town isvery small but has a choice of restaurants and a very cool bar on thebeach. Beach has private chair areas and public. The beach is soft sandand really beautiful. It's the Palermo's destination beach onthe wk ends so quite busy but during the week in May, really quitepleasent. The hotel was as expected from other reviews but betterbecause of the location and the pool and the helpful staff. Overall anamazing holiday and a good hotel.
