Reviews for Baia Taormina Grand Palace Hotels & Spa
Review 1:Wifi connection didn't work almost at all. We didn't much appreciate the way how the other restaurant chief brought gluten free products to our table by smashing them there on their packages (cereals), that is not really what to expect for a service in 4 star hotel or infact anywhere……also the gluten free bread was given without cooking it ready in oven, so just for next visitors I recommend to get a bit more acquainted over these products before serving them. Otherwise the food in restaurant was ok, but a bit over priced.
Review 2:We liked our stay in the hotel , view from the balcony was great, it was near Taormina and the shuttle buss was exellent , and if it was full hotel organized a separate pick up anyway so it was working really well, and scheduled on time. Rooms were fine and clean. We like to give a special mention of a nice personel in this hotel to the pool man, who was always in good mood , always greeted us and with his good mood humming gave us a smile and good feeling. Also got a nice service and best drinks from a bartender girl with a great sense of humour in our first evening,. Also we want to tell positive feedback to one of the restaurant chiefs, (one with longer hair) , he was very kind and helpful, specially as we had a special wish with gluten free foods.
Review 3:Access was difficult (going uphill) when there's bus offloading to the hotel next door semi-blocking the entrance.
Review 4:Carmen was very helpful, accommodating & knowledgeable during our stay. The shuttle service to/from Taormina is good but do book to be sure of seat. Shutters on the windows make the room nice & dark & cool for a nice lie-in! Lovely view from balcony.
Review 5:The food was meh.
Review 6:Swimming pools are lovely (although a bit dirty when we stayed just before season's end). The customer relations manager, Carmen, was great. It's worth paying more for a higher bedroom as the view is phenomenal (if you like seascapes!). Be warned that you really have to walk a distance of the higher rooms, though, and take up to three lifts!
Review 7:There are ares of the hotel looking tired. Certain areas where there has been water ingress and some black mould on internal walls. The swimming pools need some attention too. I appreciate it was end of season but a clean pool would be nice
Review 8:The staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly
Review 9:Nothing!!
Review 10:Beautiful hotel is a stunning location, rooms where beautiful too , I would recommend to stay in the grand place side of the hotel. Food and spa where great value too! Would defiantly recommend this hotel the staff couldn't do enough for you!
Review 11:The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our stay the most enjoyable! We would definatly like to come back!! Spaghetti corner was fantastic!
Review 12:Very difficult to find resort. Too far from Taormina. Not told about elevators even after mentioning hip problems. Food - so so. Dinner buffet too expensive.
Review 13:rooms so old and tired. Dirty curtains, dirty walls, plaster falling off. Beds very hard. Shower over bath but no curtain so while bathroom got wet. No longer 4 star.
Review 14:Good location, great views, lovely staff
Review 15:Too old and no maintenance, and we were into a luxury room. I can,t imsgine normal room.
Review 16:The hotel is old and there is no maintenance. It was raining and there were water every where inside. The breakfast buffet was really dirty and plenty of flies. It seems to be a two start hotel.
Review 17:Thank you to the staff for a wonderful service. The meals (breakfast, lunch & Dinner) was excellent. Great surrounding views. The courtesy shuttle bus was vey handy to get to the main town or to the beach. Would highly recommend for a truely comfortable & high standard resort.
Review 18:Beach is a bit far, but you can use the hotel's free shuttle bus to get there :)
Review 19:Great location, very friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. Free transfer to the beach and to Taormina!
Review 20:The hotel is very spread about and we had 3 separate lifts from room to reception. Decor rather dated. Hotel Beach difficult to get to.
Review 21:Great location on hillside with fabulous views overlooking the bay. Near Toarmina. Good breakfast but overpriced dinner. Good bar facilities (and barman)
Review 22:unable to walk out of the grounds two track road with no foot path.and in the middle of no where did have a courtesy bus but you had to book at least a day in advance and on one occasion had to wait 45 mins
Review 23:staff great, rooms great,view great,food okay
Review 24:We were stuck in the hotel on one of the days due to the weather. It was only then when I noticed there was hardly anything to do in doors. Other than that I have zero complaints about our stay.
Review 25:The outstanding views and the quality of the rooms. We stayed in the superior double room which benefitted from a good sized balcony which overlooked the sea. It also included two sun loungers and a table and chairs.
Review 26:The beds were a bit hard for my taste but the rooms were excellent. Beach access was quite steep but they had a golf cart to take us up the steepest portion when returning to the hotel.
Review 27:The location was wonderful. Quiet and calming. Staff was amazing and extremely friendly & helpful. Shuttle in to town was timely and easy. Rooms were clean and balcony was HUGE! Would be very easy to stay here w/o going into Taormina. Food & drinks were plentiful and well priced. Breakfast was included and selection was wonderful.
Review 28:The snack menu at lunchtime. The choice of sandwiches was poor and the same every day. The reception/bar area was too hot. It needs better air-conditioning.
Review 29:The hotel and location was undoubtably great, but what made our stay really special was the staff. They were friendly, cheerful, professional and extremely helpful even during busy times. We were very impressed by the excellent service they provided.
Review 30:Our toilet was horribly dirty. Mouldy tiles and clogged shower drain! The air conditioner was barely working and always turned off when we left the room. Each time we came back, it was unacceptably hot. Plus, the air conditioner was not serviced, as the filters were dirty and I developed an allergic reaction. Also, the ridiculous system of booking a place on the bus to the town or Taormina and a place for the way back. The name of the hotel misleads customers in thinking it is in Taormina or close enough. In reality, it is 25 euros to get to the town! The hotel does not add more buses when there are more people willing to go to the town. There is the first come first serve policy, which means the last bunch pays for the ride. No, I would not recommend this hotel
Review 31:The view from the hotel is spectacular
Review 32:Perfect hotel in perfect location. Hotel staff is kind and helpfull. Especially Carmen is very friendly. Easy transfer to town. Strongly recommended.
Review 33:very friendly and helpful staff (one night we came back late from a trip and the kitchen was closed at that time, the lady at the reception organized a meal for us; very friendly. The shuttlebus to beach and Taormina. Nice room with a great view
Review 34:hotel is 15 drive from taormina. Access to the beach is quite conplicated with children , but you can always take a shuttle bus.
Review 35:Absolutely amazing place! Great hotel , clean and nice rooms with awesome views and delisious breakfast.
Review 36:Extremely nice personnel!! We really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is very good. They have very practical shuttle bus to the beach and to taormina.
Review 37:A little far from the city, having a car is a must. Room are very simple and very (very, very) old fashion. No shampoo, conditioner or other small commodities that you should find in a 4 stars hotels. Access to the beach very limited.
Review 38:Staff very helpful and always smiling to accommodate the guests. Very good food and quite large buffet. The view is amazing.
Review 39:private beach is not as good as expected, too many rocks on the beach. location is not quite convenient even though there are shuttle buses
Review 40:service are excellent. music, tranporting bus
Review 41:Low price/value ratio. The pools are all for kids and small (The only activity in the hotel). The breakfast is served till 10 am and there is only 1 person for cooking omelet and you are waiting too long in the queue (20 minutes). Hard to find parking slot.
Review 42:Wi-Fi worked well in the room. All the staff was very friendly and helpful (Special thanks to very friendly bartender) Courtesy service to beach and Taormina was good. Rooms were always clean and the air condition was working great. The view from the room was excellent.
Review 43:The staff were very outgoing and friendly ( Carmen and Mario). They made our stay feel very special and were always there to answer any questions or concerns we had.
Review 44:Bit of an effort to get to the beach. The parking is up an exceptionally steep hill. If cars parked on either side of the road leading to the Grand Palace entrance - it made manoeuvring very difficult indeed.
Review 45:Very pleasant, helpful staff. Lovely view from hotel bedroom. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi.
Review 46:nothing
Review 47:We would recomend this hotel to evryone its absolutly perfekt! The staff is really frindly! the area is perfekt to relax! and if you want to go to town with the free shuttel service, wich is perfekt organised and always on time. everthing is absolutly perfekt.
Review 48:The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and too expensive (both accomodation and food). It looks much more luxurious in the pictures than in reality.
Review 49:The hotel is nice, has a two large pools, towels provided. As it is located on a mountain almost in the middle of nowhere, there are shuttle services provided to the beach (which is 1km away) and Taormina.
Review 50:The more basic rooms are small and quite dark. The breakfast buffet was ok but pretty basic, the evening buffet was disappointing and expensive but the freshly cooked meat was nice. Pool area was fab but would be hectic in the summer season.
Review 51:The view is stunning, plenty of free parking, most of the staff were friendly and obliging. The free shuttle bus was great.
Review 52:We had to take 3 lifts to get to our room.
Review 53:The staff were all very friendly, helpful, professional. The shuttle service to the beach and taormina is great and regular. The view is breath-taking! Have your breakfast outside in the mornning!
Review 54:The hotel is located at a beautiful location, on the mountain with an amazing view on the coastline. The rooms are clean and very nice, breakfast is good and the swimming pool facilities excellent free towels and relaxing sunbeds. The only thing which could be improved is wifi at the swimming pool which is not available during our stay.
Review 55:Quite touristy. Although the transfer service into Taormina was excellent, you are tied to timings!
Review 56:Location, swimming pools, deluxe room with sea view
Review 57:The location of the hotel was excellent with free regular shuttles to Taormina centre. Fantastic views over the Meditteranean and facilities including pools and beach. Breakfast was ample with plenty choice both hot and cold. All the staff at the hotel were extremely hospitable and friendly, doing everything possible to make it an enjoyable stay!
Review 58:The hotel restaurant buffet was not very good at all and very over priced at 34 euros per head. We subsequently discovered it was offered to some guests at 30 euros which left us feeling slightly ripped off! Although the hotel operates a shuttle bus to the beach and Taormina which was very reliable, it can't replace being able to have a wonder to the beach or town on foot due the hotel being quite isolated and on a dangerous road!
Review 59:We liked our large room with the fantastic views out to sea and the quite swimming pool area. All the staff in particular Carmen were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The lifts to all the different levels were always quick and in good safe working order.
Review 60:All the staff were always cheerful and happy to assist especially Tina on reception. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with so much choice. The added touch of having a pianist in the lobby of the hotel in the evening to listen to while enjoying a pre dinner drink was also very nice too.The shuttle bus to the private beach and Taormina is a great bonus.
Review 61:When we arrived (3 people) we found out that we were upgraded to junior suite. It had large balcony and amazing view for the bay. Breakfast and dinner were great. Especially the dinner serving grilled fished at the beautiful balcony. In the evenings they had someone playing live music so you could enjoy your evening drink in a nice setting.
Review 62:No direct access to the beach. Cold water in the pools and sea (not hotel's fault though on may 1st :). Sea water pool was not looking clean enough.
Review 63:Food, restaurant service, room cleanness, location, friendly staff.
Review 64:The hotel provides dinner only as a buffet service. Great food though and reasonably priced.
Review 65:Carmen, Tina and David at the front desk were amazing. Very good guidance and advice on everything we asked. Taormina is very close and the hotel provides free shuttle service all day. The view from the hotel room was superb!
Review 66:I don't remember anything that was disagreeable to me.
Review 67:The confortable and big lobby. The space outside of the lobby. The restaurants, the room, the beautiful swimmingpool, and everything more.
Review 68:The first impression on entering the hotel was not good as you were hit with the fumes of cigeretts , our bedroom was too far from reception . The sun beds on the beach had no padding so you were lying on hard plastic which was very uncomfortable especially if you suffer from a bad back as I do. The shuttle service to the beach was adequate but there was no shuttle to Taormina at 7 pm so you had to go in at 6 or 8pm and the driver drove like hell and at times it was over loaded make it very dangerous. The road and the railway line was directly under the hotel so you had the fumes wafting up to the pool area and restaurant. The pool bar restaurant menu was very limited also. Service in the restaurant and room service was a bit slack as we had to request loo paper and shampoo on a number of occasions.
Review 69:The reception staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and when I complained about the sun beds on the beach the offered me extra towels. The pasta bar in the restaurant was very good as was the buffet table, although you knew they were coming near the end of season when they didn't have 2 of the same bottle of wine on the same evening.
Review 70:Location of the hotel gives magnificent view to the bay and also great terraces for gardens and pools. The sea is easily approachable on a romantic stairs and gives you the opportunity to swim and enjoy the sun on the beach.
Review 71:Breakfast, if you like fresh pressed orange juice or omelettes , don't go there before 8:30 am. You need car to explore the neighborhood.
Review 72:Very friedly and multi language speaking front desk staff. Free shuttle bus to Taormina and to the beach, sold out quickly book early. Beautiful view over the coast line.
Review 73:The coffee/tea bags needs to be refill everyday and cups clean. The room air condition is very poor and compressor makes lot of noise. The shuttle vehicles needs very urgent to be replace. This is not of your fault The Catania airport is horrible and this what keeps me off not coming back to your nice hotel
Review 74:The Hotel its self and location. The staff especially at the reception. The breakfast at the terrace the pools and bar reception. The shuttle service is excellent.
Review 75:- our room was dated, the walls had scuff marks - stains on curtains - hairdryer was so old fashioned and time consuming that I requested a new one (bring yours if possible) - I saw lots of hair in corridors - hotel needs renovation - expensive dinner with few choices (only spagheti in the land of pasta!!!)
Review 76:- location - nice pool - shuttle to city works well
Review 77:Noise in corridors in the morning and the clanging of the metal shutters made it difficult to sleep past 6 or 630 when tour groups were preparing to leave. Needs updating of some amenities eg hair blowers antiquated, wifi no available in every room, Finally, menu in dining room for dinner buffet and lunch buffet needs updating and daily variation. There is only so much eggplant one person can eat.
Review 78:Loved isolated location, completeness of facility ( eg pool, spa, beach Pasta chef in dining room is a great asset... His personality and love of his job just shone through
Review 79:Location is too remote. Parking is tricky on a slope.
Review 80:Breakfast had good choices, especially the omelet station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great pool and lunch. Comfortable accommodations. Stupendous view of the sea.
Review 81:The staff were friendly friendly and helpful. We had dinner the night we arrived and it was a delicious buffet and very reasonable. The breakfast on the terrace was also delicious with a very wide range of foods to choose from. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite on the 9th floor featuring a living area, two bedrooms each with private bathrooms, two terraces - the large one with a jacuzzi! The pool areas were very well run with a really friendly pool manager! A short ride into Taormina make this place complete! I would go back in a hearbeat! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Review 82:Lunch menu very small, not many choices Beach had to be driven by bus and this was not mentioned on your web page Pool rules not obeyed, couples putting babies with diapers and naked in pool. Pool rules need to be printed larger
Review 83:Room was nice & Clean Staff very helpful
Review 84:The lack of a served/waited meal in the evening as an option rather than only a buffet. The shower in our room potentially leaked unless one was very careful.
Review 85:The whole atmosphere was very nice. The shuttle bus to and from the nearby town was good. Our room was really nice
Review 86:The three elevators that I had to take and a mile long walk to my Suite. The bugs that were in my mothers room when we arrived. The lack of good food and a buffet being offered for us to eat upon our arrival. We checked out early!
Review 87:The staff, they were trying to make everything right to make us stay.
Review 88:The location, did not realise it was a good 20 minutes drive to Taormina, felt restricted, this became annoying after a few days, it should be made clearer by the hotel about the distance to the town, the hotel is also tired in places and could do with updating, even the newer areas are not that great
Review 89:Staff very helpful
Review 90:Location very isolated. Needed car to get anywhere. Very steep bends to get to the town so not for the fainthearted. There was a courtesy bus but you have to book the times the day before. We weren't given enough information on arrival - other guests seem to have fared better in this respect. We only discovered there was a spa when we got home (reading other reviews). Food at breakfast not inspiring and buffet dinner the same every night. A lot of waiting around standing up for your food to be cooked at the barbecue and similarly at breakfast.
Review 91:Lovely pools and beautiful views. Our room was large with a good sized terrace and there was a courtesy bus to the local town. Ideal if all you want to do is relax by a pool and take a courtesy bus to the beach and go nowhere else.
Review 92:Despite booking a family suite 4 months in advance of our arrival and then also having the booking comfirmed via seperate email they decided to rent the suite to other guest giving us very outdated old accommodation that was not clean and not comfortable for two young children. In general hotel is extremely outdated and certainly not worth the money being charged and the photos on booking website showing modren new rooms is a complete misrepresentation.
Review 93:View, swimming pool and breakfast and shuttle bus service.
Review 94:I have nothing negative to say about this hotel, it has been one of the best stay of my life and I can say I have travelled quite a bit. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, always kind and available to answer our questions and meet our needs. We also asked for suggestions for a good restaurant in Taormina for dinner and the suggested name did not let us down, great food. The location is great: beautiful view of the sea, quiet and close to the beach. Great shuttle service to a private beach and to Taormina centre. Great swimming pools. The room was very nice: we had booked for a standard room and they upgraded us to a Deluxe room at no extra cost. This room had an incredible view of the seascape and a nice terrace where we had very nice breakfasts. Room was equipped with airconditioning. Very good bathroom. Great cleaning service. Absolutely a 10/10.
Review 95:The cleanliness of the rooms needs more attention, very dusty, no attention to detail, handprints of cream smeared all over doors, windows and mirrors, hair on pillows, door tracks dirty, light fittings dusty. The pool could do with a slight overhaul, discolouration and rust are apparent, however staff very attentive and professional and always happy.
Review 96:Staff were very attentive, breakfast buffet was excellent and abundant with a lot of variety. Rooms have spectacular views, lot's of space around the pools.
Review 97:MUST have a car as shuttle buses inadequate for the volume of guests - once it is full, that's it. You would then need to book a taxi which is 25Euros each way. It is very isolated, built into a mountain with absolutely nothing else around it and if you suffer from vertigo at all, don't stay here. There are 3 separate buildings. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was up the mountain in the 3rd building which took a good 10 minutes to get to using 3 separate lifts. Could not walk it using the steps as it is too step a climb. Took the shine off being upgraded. The pools are lovely but again, glass-sided lift down 3 levels from reception to get to it - my husband couldn't use the pools, because of the open-ness of the steps/lift down to them.
Review 98:Panoramic views, very helpful staff, food was very good for hotel food. If you want complete peace, isolation and half way decent food then you will enjoy this hotel. It's not a 'grand 4*' hotel like a lot of them in central Taormina but the staff make up for some of the inadequacies. You don't have to pay extra to use the sunbeds on the beach and the shuttle there is free (if you can on it).
Review 99:Might be a bit steep for older travellers
Review 100:Hotel is set in a lovely location overlooking the bay. Great transit service to and from Taormina. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Review 101:Location is a bit far from Taormina and even thought the hotel runs a shuttle it is still a limit.
Review 102:Very nice hotel, great pools, nice private beach but not compare to the other beaches around.. Very good breakfast (take it in the balcony!) and great view
Review 103:Restaurant ok, but cod be better. And little bit expensive too.
Review 104:Great hotel, beautiful views. Out of the town, but great shuttle service to the beach and Taormina.
Review 105:I think that the following points can be improved. * Sometimes the shuttle buses for Taormina were fully booked and we needed to take taxis which costed 25 EUR per trip. * There was a bit uncomfortable smell in the bathroom unfortunately..
Review 106:Basically we enjoyed our stay very much, especially the ocean view from the room was very good and the dinner buffet was also very good.
Review 107:As a minor detail, we would have appreciated complimentary slippers and bathrobes in our room.
Review 108:I highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed for a week and have loved everything about this hotel: the location (proximity to the sea and proximity to Taormina), the spectacular view, the pools, the private terrace adjacent to our room, the calm at night, the quality of the food and the affability and helpfulness of all personnel.
Review 109:Wifi only in lobby, and is spotty at that. Breakfast is good, but if you are doing tours and request an early access to it, NOTHING is out. Hotel is worn down, and outdated decor. Shuttle service is not explained to travelers - if you miss your shuttle back to the hotel, you are out of luck getting back.
Review 110:Location is great. Nice having a private beach. Dinner at hotel is the best! Staff was helpful.
Review 111:Beach not great , sun beds by pool need upgrading
Review 112:Rooms have own sunbathing balconies, staff are so warm and friendly, shuttle very handy but book in advance if possible.
Review 113:I booked last minute and should have upgraded to the Grand Palace rooms. We had no WiFi in our room on the third floor. The rooms were dated but very clean.
Review 114:The hotel has a wonderful restaurant. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot of variety. There is a dinner BBQ buffet with endless choices from the grill and pasta bar. Very good value. We will miss the chef Mario. We ate so well because of him at hotel that we only had one meal in Taormina. The hotel shuttle is also a bonus and runs often to beach and Taormina. You should reserve your time the day before.
Review 115:The Noise !! There no sound isolation in room nor in the doors. If you want peace and quiet stay away. Drinks are 9e and so called cocktails are absolutely horrible. There is no restaurants or shoos near by. Water bottle is 3.5e and simple lunch buffet is 20e not inc drinks.
Review 116:Staff, view, pool, upper price range room were nice. Food was ok.
Review 117:beach with no walking access, however was well compensated by the good quality shuttle bus service
Review 118:we stayed in the new building with quite good conditions. Staff is very friendly, speciall thanks to Carmen at reception and Julia the host. General manager was kind enough to book a perfect dining location in Taormina for us.
Review 119:Menu in pool bar poor. The hotel had 2 weddings while we were there and loud music and terrible singing went on well into the early hours (after 1pm). We didn't sleep on either of these nights and we were at the back of the hotel - dread to think what it was like for those at the front! This would really put me off going here again.
Review 120:All good. Nice room. Most staff friendly .. (one male receptionist particularly unfriendly). Room very clean and nice environment. Pools lovely.
Review 121:I would not recommend to stay without a car. Free shuttle bus is very busy at high season and often fully booked. It's impossible to walk anywhere safely from the hotel.
Review 122:Feels very luxurious , excellent breakfast buffet, 2 lovely pools. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Review 123:The staff including the front desk were extremely helpful throughout our 10 day stay especially Carmen, Tina, David and my good friend who lives in Santa Theresa I cannot spell her name. The breakfast was also a big plus the person making the fried eggs did a great job, the shuttle to Taromina and the beach was a plus.
Review 124:How difficult it is to pay in cash? We like credit cards, but still...
Review 125:Staff and location were great. People in reception were extremely helpful. Thank you Tina, Carmen and Davide etc. Shuttle bus was excellent.Grazie, Salvatore etc.
Review 126:Rooms are tired and dowdy. Ditto public areas. Mini bar not refilled in three day stay, but was checked as beverage was already on bill at checkout. Breakfast was poor, seems they are unable to work out that steamed bacon doesn't work Scrambled eggs were dry, poor coffee, etc. Food not replenished after 9-00 am. Hit and miss whether you were shown to a table or not. Shuttle bus service, a big feature on their website, is poor. First of all they dont tell you that you need to book each bus. Mostly they were full so you had to wait for the next one. Buses need an overhaul, especially the AC. Wifi hit and miss.
Review 127:Staff were great, views are sensational and the pool area was good.
Review 128:My room is a bit far from front office as wee need to change elevator for three times.
Review 129:Transportation is convenience to take. They have two pools, one of them is good for kids as not deep. Good balcony and nice view. And private beach is also good and was not busy. My children likes sea pool walking down steps from hotel. The depth of the sea is just uncle and we could sea many fishes.
Review 130:From description i expedcted much much better service. The cost/ benefit are really bad.The hotel doesn’t deserve the asked prices. Rooms needs repair, bathroom equipment is old and works bad.Poor food and staff.Staff poorly speaks English on arrival for us didn’t explain anything. Address on invoice is not correct. We were lost and calling for help, but staff could not explain in English how to find the hotel.During our four day stay the staff did not offered any of mentioned facilities (Tennis court, Cycling, Sauna, Fitness center, Massage, Hot tub, Bicycle rental).I felt also staff discrimination, because I ordered the hotel from booking.com, so why do they put the advertisement there if not happy. At the standard rooms the bathroom was with old massage shower, which works bad, and from douche cabin a lot of waters dangerously go around, we were leaving a lot of wet towels on the floor but no one from maid staff was paying attention. The private beach - not true (indeed it is 5 minutes going with bus, and it is simple public beach). The loungers on the beach without a mattress, the beach towels for free use you have to bring with you from hotel by bus.To reach Taormina takes 15-20 min by bus. There is free scheduled shuttle to Taormina, but with fixed schedule every hour, so you have carefully plan and to reserve place in the bus for going forward and same backward (some times bus may be already full).Food & DrinkRestaurant dinner 30 € per person, Bar 18 €per person, Breakfast in the room is 10 €.During dinner I was asked what did I eat? Strange way of service! We were served with breakfast box at 4 star hotel for two persons, which included: 2x 200ml of juice, 2 peach, one apple for two persons, 4 pieces of toast and six small boxes of jam - great, isn‘t it! No any other option for chose was suggested.
Review 131:Nice view from terrase. Live music at lobby.
Review 132:access to the beach is not suitable for small children around the hotel is nothing, there are shuttle bus to taormina but with limited capacity monotonous breakfast available only one restaurant from 8pm
Review 133:with some exceptions perfect staff perfect suite, we can recommend junior suite, it is spacy and nice terrace excellent pool area
Review 134:The restaurant was very expensive, so it was better worth to go to Taormina for a meal. The early morning of our check out we didn't get the box breakfast even knowing that we did ask, because to get to the airport took up to 3 hours.
Review 135:The location was beautiful and the views from balcony and restaurant were absolutely gorgeous. The room was cleaned every single morning and had free Wi-Fi. The breakfast buffet was very nice and delicious. The hotel provided free shuffle cars to go to the beach (which was private, very clean and for free) and Taormina (for shopping and food).
