Reviews for Camping Village Internazionale Firenze

Review 1:Mini mobil home recommended just for short stay, for survive the night - very basic. Staff is rude - especially the receptionist -, car parking is extreme expensive.

Review 2:Not far away from the Center of Firenze. Restaurant and food store is great, spacious, tidy camping

Review 3:We arrived at approx 10pm / 10.30pm and there was no staff on the campsite reception desk despite it advertising that it is manned 24 hrs a day. We drove onto the site without anyone noticing which makes me question how safe it is to stay here. A very different experience to all of the other campsites that we have stayed on in Italy! We obviously had to find a member of staff otherwise we would have had to have slept in the car! we walked all around the site and found a lady in the bar who assured us that there was meant to be a security man on the desk! of course there wasn't. She must have rang someone as a man drove to the site and though wasn't able to speak to us in English he got his wife and small child out of their home to help find the security guard. It was apparent that the security guard was passed out drunk in the locked reception office and after about 30 minutes the wife had to climb through a window to wake him up. They had a big argument and after 45 minutes of us arriving we had a key to our accommodation. The drunk man, once awake and checking us in was extremely awkward, unwilling to help us and check us in, we were given the impression that he didn't have accommodation for us and that the site was full. He was rude to both my partner and I, he stank of alcohol, was clearly irritated that we were there and when I asked where we could leave the car he laughed at me as if I was asking a stupid question. After having to navigate the site ourselves we finally found our mobile. The following morning we went to reception to finish checking in and the lady there was extremely polite, welcoming and helpful - a vast difference to the security guard. We stayed two nights and we never did see anyone monitor who was coming on and off the site! we will never stay here again.

Review 4:We liked that we had a good amount of space in our two bed with kitchen mobile. We were able to park the car in front of it and the bed was comfortable and the mobile was clean. The campsite was pretty and it was a good location to Florence. We didn't use the bus service but there was plenty of info about it at the reception desk.

Review 5:Lack of free wifi to make travel plans.

Review 6:Loved everything - really great place to stay for the price, could have had better wifi arrangements but location, ease of access, staff etc all great. The caravans were good quality for cost, would come back.

Review 7:Our only main concern was the Internet especially considering you have to pay 3 euro an hour. It hardly loaded anything. We ended up finding an Internet cafe in the city instead

Review 8:The staff were lovely and helpful and the pool was perfect as the weather was heating up!

Review 9:Wifi was free at entrance for 1 hour and 3 euro/hour there after only per device. Heating was not enough and we were freezing. the campsite was next to high way and very noisy. I paid a record amount for no service. I felt very unsafe.

Review 10:Parking was free.

Review 11:swimmingpool was oftenly closed, alot of musquito's.

Review 12:just nice all-around

Review 13:Very noisy, we can ear the cars on the motorway very near. The house is poorly isolated (too hot or too cold) and not very clean.

Review 14:Everything

Review 15:The trailer we got was quite small, though we were aware of it

Review 16:Location, just in the lake! Facilities are good and depend on type of camping you are renting

Review 17:It is definitely made for people with transport. It is a steep ascend to the location (3 km) from the bus stop and even more so to the cabins. If you are wheeling large suitcases, it is not pleasant at all. No shuttle service to town was offered or a golf cart ride to the cabins. We were lugging 20kg each.

Review 18:Beautiful location overlooking the convent and mountains.

Review 19:The good campground, Everything is, everything works, to the downtown of 5 minutes on the car. It is possible to use a number of standing hotel. Big free parking

Review 20:We only stayed for 1 night in the bungalow with 2 rooms. In one of the rooms there were bed bugs!!! My friends got bitten very badly all over their body. Arms, back, shoulders and face were mainly affected. They had to find the doctor for the treatment. Their vacation was ruined. I dont believe the staff is not aware of the bed bugs there. They must know! I dont understand how can they accomodate people in these bungalows if there are such insects!

Review 21:Camping Village Internazionale promised us to give us money back. But that does not undo the damage and health trauma caused by the bed bugs. Therefore we will NEVER stay in this camping village in the future.

Review 22:Be prepared to share the sight with young adult tours. The market was expensive. Wifi was also expensive, it was the only place in Europe I had to pay!

Review 23:It was clean and the pool was nice. The staff was friendly. Easy access to Florence via bus.

Review 24:It could be closer to Firenze. We had a car so it wasn't a problem but without it it wouldn't be so easy to get to the city centre.

Review 25:I liked the area - green, quiet, nice. Bungalows very comfortable, a place to make a barbecue, restaurant, shop.

Review 26:too far from anything location not good

Review 27:Suitable for young people, value for money

Review 28:To far from anywhere

Review 29:Peace and quite

Review 30:Bungalow was great. Resteraunt very good. Staff excellant.

Review 31:not luxury

Review 32:all amenities next to the city in the parkp rivate parking
