Review 1：Wifi signal was fine, but internet service at the property was not very robust. This was a small thing, because we loved the beautiful house.
Review 2：This beautiful farmhouse was built in the 1400's! It is nicely furnished and very comfortable. It is within a short drive of Florence' historic center, where we simply parked at a parking garage for the day. There is also bus access from the house if you prefer bus.

Best to have a car but the bus stop is 100 yrds away. iMaps to us right to it. Rent the hot spot from Hertz. Owner is very hands off - got an intro and how to pay for the wine in the wine rack and how to open the front drive gate and never say them again - perfect for us. Great little restaurant close by (but long walk). We loved it. 15 Min to south side of Florence. Parked a 10 min walk south of the river - best part of Florence was maybe that part of the old city!

We were given the wrong key and I wandered around the grounds trying to find a staff member but could not find anyone (this is at about 4 in the afternoon). I had to call them on my phone and the woman seemed a bit put out that I couldn't get my door open because she gave me the wrong key. Internet barely worked.
Review 21：The grounds were pretty and the pool was beautiful. We rented the split-level and it was huge. There's a restaurant nearby but the hotel is off of a narrow busy street so be careful when walking.

Review 28：The taxi system is ridiculous out there. We couldnt get a taxi for hoursbecause they would just hang up on us. That is the only reason thelocation isnt great. Its only a twenty minute taxi ride to the citycentre but finding a taxi is the hard part. The buses were great butthey stop pretty early. There was no staff to help us

Review 32：Getting to Florence was a bit of a challenge. Even though we had a car,the traffic was terrible and you can spend close to an hour getting intoFlorence. The second day we parked the car near the bus stop and tookthe bus into Florence, which was very convenient. So, even though it isvery close to Florence, getting there is not a breeze.
Review 33：This is a very lovely place very close to Florence. The people were sonice and welcoming, they even brought us a basket with breakfast when wecame. There is a full kitchen, so we were able to cook dinner. They alsohave a wine rack in the room with many bottles of wine that you can takefor 5 euro.

Review 36：This is an apartment with no hospitality. You will have to book your own reservations and get absolutely no help from the owner. Our stay was short-lived due to a severe thunderstorm. Power was out for hours, including the use of toilets and showers. The owner never came to check on the guests nor provide us and others with candles. We saw the owner in the courtyard and had to tell her how bad the situation was with no running water and no water heater, etc. She told us that she wasn't sure when an electrician was going to arrive. We had to check out of course, and the owner told us that she we would refund us for our last night there. I never received that refund. I finally had to file a credit card dispute, which the owner disputed, which I disputed again. I couldn't believe the lack of hospitality from this place. Worst place I have stayed in Tuscany!

By the way, in the restaurant nearby Borgo dei Ricci they cook best Florentine stakes.
