Review 1：The aircondition was controlled from the reception, so you had to call down and tell then if you wanted to change the temperature and there English weren't that good so it was hard to inform them.

Review 2：Breakfast was really nice but without a single vegetable.. There is everything you can imagine to have for breakfast and quality is really good but We really missed some vegetables:)

Review 3：Comfortable room, though small. Everything worked, including the wifi. Hotel easy to find and well situated, just back from the beach. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of high quality choices.

Review 5：Very noisy!!! The nearby bars had very loud music until 3 a.m the night we stayed there. The air conditioning was not very cool, and we could not open the windows because that made the music even louder. The layout of the room was interesting for a couple traveling (2 single beds in 2 different rooms) doesn't make for a very romantic vacation.

Review 6：Hotel had a great location and our room had an ocean view. Great walking distance to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. Onsite restaurant was very good as well.

Review 7：Friendly staff, great restaurant and Italian atmosphere. A small independent hotel with its own character. Breakfast room has lovely views of sea and coastline and continental buffet food is plentiful.

Review 11：The restaurant and bar area, room and staff. Since last visit the bar area has had a makeover to a cafe/bar/bistro and is lovely. There was even live classical guitar music when we were there.

Review 18：Hotel doesn't have its own beach. So you have to pay everyday. There is a free beach nearby but it's super small. For the private beach you have to pay 16euro for two people. Umbrellas and chairs are fine but the beach itself is not very good. There are a lot of big rocks so it's pretty painful to walk into the sea. The sea is very deep. You just make two steps and you already cannot stand, so it's not good for kids.

Review 31：Very nice room. Recommend the breakfast on the fifth floor with the beautiful see view.

Review 32：The bed was small and there was a random massive desk in the middle of the very small room which made it impossible to move around in. One of the doors didn't open onto the balcony and there was no air con. We also found all of the restaurants empty and no real atmosphere in the bars or cafes. I wouldn't recommend it for young people.

Review 37：Room was very-very small. But it is not problem at all but the bed. The bed for two people it is a horror. My other problem was that breakfast option was till 10 o' clock but at 9.30 the plates in the breakfast room was almost empty and there was some bread and jam left.

Very loud music everynight till 12.30 from a concert taking place in the square & onenight music til 4am. At this point we asked to be moved. We were givenan apartment nearer to the sea front, however the hotel didn'trealise we were a party of 5 & the apartment was a one doublebedroom with another double sofa bed in the lounge area. The Hoteladvertises on bookings.com that breakfast is included, it is not &costs a further 8 euros per person per day add on taxes & parkingmaking our 4 night over 800 euros, not value for money. Would notrecommend to visitors from the Uk.

Review 51：This complain is for booking.com and not Hotel Tornese We booked 4 double rooms and 1 triple room. When we arrived at the hotel we found out that booking.com had booked for us 1 of the double rooms with a separate bed of which we do not know why. i am attaching the booking.com had made with the Hotel Tornese to show that it is the fault of booking.com for booking this room. We were very disappointed about this as the room we had was made up from two parts of a balcony from each side of another room to make up one room. one bed was on one side and the other bed was on another side of the room and they were very small as well. We had already complained of another hotel that we had booked through booking,.com of which i still have not received a reply from you. I would like your comments about this mistake you have done??? We normally use this website but after this holiday, we doubt this will be our first choice.

Review 52：It is obligatory to change the picture of the "small double room" at the booking com!!!The small double room is presented with the terrace with the sea view! Actualy, there is a terrace but not with the sea view.

Review 55：Excellent small hotel in good location close to beach and main square at Cecina Mare. Staff very friendly, arrived late but not a problem, didn't use restaurant but looked very good, bar area comfortable and relaxing. Buffet breakfast included, not a comprehensive menu but perfectly adequate and plentiful. Would stay here again and recomment to others.
