Review 1：I love staying here and each time I come to Pondicherry with friends I share this little piece of heaven with them. Fabulous place to stay with exquisite surrounds and staff.

Review 2：Relative to other hotels, I felt this was not quite worth the price premium given the limited facilities offered by small hotels such as this. But it wouldn't stop me staying again.

Review 3：Fabulous boutique hotel in héritage property. Charming staff. Great location for strolling the old French area. Pleasant roof top terrace for meals. Good international and local cuisine restaurant by provincial Indian standards.

We went to Villa Shanit and others and this was the best because of the pool and location Life access to all floors which is brilliant Lovely roof top bar and restaurant! Super large rooms Staff are great..led by the amazing Febin who helped us with things from furniture shopping to surf lessons..nothing was too much trouble. Lovely waitress at the restaurant each morning.

Review 7：The layout of the hotel and the room sizes. The eco use of toiletries whereby no silly plastic bottles but refillable terracotta pots - loved that. The gowns were great too. Staff were fabulous as was breakfast. Enjoyed one dinner which was good albeit no beef so both hubby and I had to rechoose our mains... will come again

Review 9：We loved everything about this property. In its own understated and elegant way it rivals some of the best properties in India. Email communication about transportation and guide services were returned promptly and clearly. To say our SPA massage experiences were great would be an understatement. Amazing might be more appropriate. Laundry service was fast and excellent. ALL of the staff and management were genuine and very helpful. We will definitely be seeking out CGH properties during our future travels whenever possible.

Review 10：Poor wi fi connection is the only thing that let it down.

Review 11：The rooms are spacious, spotless, beautifully decorated and equipped, it is a 2 minute walk away from the ocean, everything is so tranquil. Despite the open courtyard the acoustics are good and conversations do not travel or echo. The staff are very helpful and informative and the pool is priceless. The spa is also well worth a visit.

Review 12：Nothing really. If anything, a good idea would be to get some new clean yoga mats. Alternatively, bring your own mat cover.

Review 13：It is a lovely, stylish and cosy boutique hotel in excellent location in the French quarter. Staff is welcoming and helpful. There is a clean, inviting swimming pool that is profound enough. On the half-open restaurant terrace you can enjoy some cool wine in the afternoon or dinner in a light sea breeze. In the spa, they offer one of the best synchronised ayurvedic massages I have experienced, with steam closet and ayurvedic peeling. There is a possibility to arrange a yoga teacher and have yoga sessions on the rooftop terrace with sea view. On the whole, excellent experience, would like to return soon :)

Review 15：A beautifully done replica heritage building with cool spaces, generous bedrooms and bathrooms, clean swimming pool and brilliant rooftop restaurant with the best prawns I've ever had - and I've had them all over the world. The location is perfect - in the heart of the French quarter - quiet, leafy streets and a laid back vibe. Even more impressive were the staff - delivering everything as promised, sorting a booking problem for us (not even theirs) and full of relevant info and directions for Pondicherry and other astounding CGHearth properties. Everything done with confidence and a smile. Manager Mr Dinu runs a great hotel and Febin on the front desk is a total star!

Review 29：The wiring made it impossible to turn all the lights off while still having a working electrical outlet next to my bed for my sleep apnea machine. I had to have a light glaring in my face all night, so I couldn't sleep.

Review 30：The decor was very nice and the bathroom was beautiful. The front desk staff were helpful, especially when the WiFi didn't work.
