Reviews for Hotel Zum Mohren

Review 1:We booked on booking.com but booking.com didn't send our specifications to the hotel. When arrived the bed for our child wasn't in our reservation. The hotel staff immediately fixed it. We had a realy nice stay.

Review 2:The service was excellent. The staff was verry helpfull.

Review 3:none. Only one point ; they could explain me the facilities when I checked in. Also they were not helpful with providing an address where I could rent a bike. At Intersport I rented one myself.

Review 4:Nice Austrian Hotel. Clean and solid. Lovely breakfast

Review 5:smell of smoking at the bar. and there was no music when we set there at 11 pm

Review 6:everything! great breakfast, location, spa facilities, staff, parking, clean!

Review 7:Breakfast wasn't the best that we had on our trip

Review 8:Good location for a visit to the eagles nest. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is somewhat worn but that is part of the charm. It reminded me of the hotel in the shining but thankfully quiet overnight!

Review 9:Nothing.

Review 10:Room and hotel itself was very clean. Hotel is close to train station and in the center of restaurants and shops, and a grocery market is located about half a block away. Staff was friendly and helpful, and was able to accommodate an early checkout process.

Review 11:Reception was not friendly to English-speaking people! Will not go back to this place. Stay at Hotel Hirsh instead!!! Ate dinner at Hotel Hirsch down the street and they were much more friendly and helped me even though I wasn't staying there!!!

Review 12:Next too a nice park!!!

Review 13:Maybe too expensive

Review 14:Spacious room clean and comfortable. Very good Spa

Review 15:The beds were just too hard could not sleep on it properly

Review 16:Everything was good except the beds

Review 17:The pool was great!

Review 18:Central location

Review 19:Restaurant was fantastic for supper.

Review 20:Rooms were too warm.

Review 21:Spa, Ski storage, Breakfast - Restaurant definitely worth a visit for the a la carte

Review 22:Excellent spa facilities with free tea, lemonade and apples!

Review 23:Excellent food

Review 24:Smoke smell when entering due to the Brasserie, but then no smell in the dining room (wintergarten) nor in the room. The placards could be both in German and English...

Review 25:We were with 2 children and stayed 3 nights in hall board. We got castles entrences via the hotel réception avoiding loooooon queue. Very clean, calm and nice hotel, cooking is delicious. Wellness center and pool are great. Fabulous stay!

Review 26:If you make a reservation for a family, just make sure the number ofbeds matches with the room description. I booked a "quadruple"room, and only there, at check-in, we realized about an additional textdescription indicating "max. 3 persons in room", andunfortunately no additional rooms were available that night, socomplaints didn't solve anything.

Review 27:Pool and spa facilities Friendly staff Location, about 20 mins drive toNeuschwanstein and hohenschwangau castles

Review 28:Bedroom: the mattress needs to be changed. one can feel the bed springs right through your bones. The water pressure in the shower was very low, and there was no consistent flow of hot water. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the service staff were not very "enthusiastic" about their job, service was very slow, orders were mixed up, and service with no smiles.

Review 29:It was a good alternative hotel location for tourists visiting the Neueschwanstein & Hohenschwangau castles. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, and I would assume there are good hiking trails around

Review 30:Staff very friendly and helpful. Modern, clean and very functional room. Very good centre town location. Good WiFi worked in thee room, garage parking appreciated for motorcycles. Excellent swimming pool and facilities.

Review 31:Beds are uncomfortable, (hard).

Review 32:Great Location. Spa & Pool is Outstanding, Top Class. Staff are really helpful & friendly, breakfast is also excellent. Hotel is very clean & parking is very convenient.

Review 33:very good location in the center of Reutte, and near to Füssen and the king's castles! very comfortable, free parking, and excellent restaurant!!! nice and new spa area! we also enjoyed a rainy day in the new public indoor pool very near to the hotel "Alpentherme Ehrenberg" the kids loved it!

Review 34:Our second room was not nearly as nice, smelled a little musty, and had a view of a wall. I requested another room and was told "we are fully booked" - but that was a flat out lie - she just didn't want to be bothered - we were the only ones on that forgotten floor. And get this - I was charged the same price for the lousy room as the good one. In fairness - maybe she meant she was fully booked on 'good rooms' and lacked the English to convey this, but it felt dishonest to me and was irritating. BOTTOM LINE - insist on a balcony with a view of the mountains and you will be very happy!

Review 35:We had two rooms - the one with the balcony was very cozy and had a fabulous view of the mountains, plus a loft. Loved it! The breakfast was OK. The location was fantastic and I LOVED the town. Just a 30 minute drive to Fussen - and Rhuett is SO much nicer. It was a little pricey - but I think it was worth it for the nicer room anyway.

Review 36:I picked this place for the pool so my 5 year old could swim. The indoorpool was not heated and was so cold we couldn't use it. The room wasloft style, perfect for a family but the bed was so hard, my husband & Iboth woke up achy and sore throughout the night. The location was lovelyand close to Neuschwanstein but wasn't the best value for the money asit was a bit expensive for the family loft.

Review 37:I picked this hotel for the pool and the loft style room and for itsproximity to Neuschwanstein castle. The neighborhood is convenient toshops and food. The breakfast buffet was nice. The spa area wasappreciated.

Review 38:swimming poool very small

Review 39:nice room, confortable and clean, good restaurant, friendly staff

Review 40:no complaints at all.

Review 41:stayed here 20 years ago, it was excellent then and it still is now !

Review 42:Very accessible to the train station, friendly staff, very clean, quiet room even with the windows open (no air con).

Review 43:The staff.

Review 44:The pool.
