Reviews for Hotel dei Cavalieri Caserta
Review 1:The bellboy is underpowered and I had to handle my own luggage.
Review 2:This is a very nice hotel with up-to-date accommodations, large rooms, everything works, breakfast buffet was excellent, it's 2 long blocks to the entry to the Caserta Palace, has a parking arrangement for 10 euros/day just up the block in secure parking, internet was fine. We got a big room with two beds for 70 euros on booking.com about 10 days ahead of time on a special offer. That was simply unbeatable!
Review 3:EVERYTHING GOOD.
Review 4:The hotel room was great and the front desk folks were very very helpful with information on locations to eat & how to visit La Reggia Really great stay
Review 5:I had stayed in this hotel a year before and everything was of great standards. Unforgunately this time the room had a leak from the AC and the dripping made it hard to sleep and worst of all the carpet was completely wet! Also the bathtub was not very clean! In general the room had an old and abandoned look.
Review 6:The location is perfect to reach the Palace of Caserta and the mAin street with the restaurants and shops.
Review 7:A guest had been running before breakfast and went straight to lunch dripping of sweat from his face leaning over the buffet. More guests noticed this. The waiters should not be afraid to tell persons like this, that he has to douche before joining breakfast. Very unhygienic in our eyes.
Review 8:Friendly and helpful receptionists. Perfect placed in the centre close to the palace.
Review 9:The hotel is located right in the center of the city, wi-fi is really working, the breakfast is better than other places in this region usually offer.
Review 10:ATM's don't allow withdrawals on the street in Caserta. Time your withdrawals for bank opening hours because they have ATMs inside.
Review 11:The Royal Palace of the Bourbon Kings is a knock out. It out shines Versailles and there are NO crowds.
Review 12:Public parking facility 100 yards away, discounted for hotel guests at €10/day
Review 13:Clean, quiet, good position, friendly staff, excellent facilities. Breakfast included. Really good value for money!
Review 14:The air-conditioning did not work properly and it was rather warm and stuffy in the room which makes it difficult to get a good nights rest. Additionally, the hair dryers are rather awkward and it takes awhile to dry thicker hair, would recommend bringing your own blow dryer.
Review 15:Friendly staff, Location, Clean
Review 16:Wish that each room could control its own air-conditioning.
Review 17:Sebastiano and Angelina (?) at the receptionist desk were so friendly, helpful, and seemed happy at their jobs that it was a pleasure to be at their hotel. And the maid was cheerful not because what you might think, but that is who she was.
Review 18:Non, all was good.
Review 19:The hotel is modern, located in the core of the city in the best place. The parking is only 70 m away with a very fair price of 10 euros per 24 hours for the hotel guests. The desk guy was really good, room was rather large, very clean, great beds and we were very surprised of the low cost.
Review 20:Nespresso machine in room. Staff eager to have guests take free fresh pastries in counter. Upgraded to a bigger room with view over the park. Parking was nearby, safe, courteous, and reasonably priced. Excellent linens and towels, perfectly comfortable bed. We were so pleased with this hotel that we stayed another night and took the train from Caserta into Naples instead of driving to Naples.
Review 21:No separate bidet in bathroom. The open shower in the bathroom was strange as after a shower, the bathroom floor was wet.
Review 22:The hotel is very near to The Palace and the train station. There is also a very nice bakery in the same piazza.
Review 23:Bit disappointed there was no bar and could not get cold obeer for room later that evening but local facilities covered

Review 28:Located withing walking distance of the palace, near restaurants and walking street with stores and close to palace. Beautiful rooms and nice washroom, very clean.
Review 29:- Hotel looked a bit empty, but that's probably because it's the end of the season.
Review 30:- Everything you would expect from this kind of hotel at a pretty good price. - Breakfast was very nice. - Wifi worked really well - Really helpful staff - Close to the Reggia
Review 31:Breakfast was very basic, coffee only available from a vending type machine.
Review 32:Great location. Good size rooms with excellent air conditioning. Good sized, clean bathroom.
Review 33:The carpets in the two hotel rooms we occupied were extremely dirty. Although everything else was fresh and in good condition, the state of the carpets detracted from our overall experience.
Review 34:The rooms were spacious and well- appointed and the location perfect for our needs. The bathroom was modern and clean although lacking in certain basic amenities, like hooks for the bath towels and a tissue box.
Review 35:A really lovely place to stay. Close to the royal palace and vibrant centre of town. A great place to appreciate Caserta

Review 63:EVERYTHING
Review 64:The rooms were a little tired, not helped by the sludgy green carpet
Review 65:The cost, the location

Review 73:the hotel hasn't a parking .
Review 74:Bathrooms in Italy can be iffy, this one was spacious and had great soft towels unlike most hotels in this range have in Italy. I was very pleased with everything.
Review 75:Superb location - just a stone's throw from the Reggia. It's situated in a lovely square and is actually quite peaceful. The staff were very helpful and kind.
Review 76:We had to ask for coffee for breakfast daily, we wasn't offered any. Shortage of cornflakes, not much variety of cereal and eggs only scrambled. Everything else very good!
Review 77:Rooms cleaned daily, friendly helpful staff.
Review 78:The location was great. The hotel is very nice and since we managed to get the reduced prices for each room, the value for money was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Review 79:As in most of the hotels on this trip all TV channels are only in Italian (at least a news channel in English or German would have been appreciated). The choice of nearby restaurants (if you did not wish to eat Pizza) was poor, however, the food in the hotel Restaurant (bldg. next door) was very good. Caserta is okay for 2 nights as the only attraction is the Royal Palace but this is really worth a visit.
Review 80:The location was really very good - overlooking a small park with cafes and within walking distance to the Royal Palace as well as the shopping area. Our room also overlooked the park and it was nice to look out at the trees and fountain. Also approx. 10 minute drive to the La Reggia designer shopping outlet.
Review 81:Would have appreciated some more info about the area. A map? We were there on a Tuesday , which is the only day the regal residence is closed, which is the main draw.
Review 82:The friendliness
Review 83:This hotel is extremely good value for money. It is very well located. It is in walking distance to the palace which is a MUST SEE!!! Dinner at the adjoining restaurant was delicious and very well priced. Staff are wonderful. It is a GREAT hotel!!!

Review 92:nothing to write here...
Review 93:All of it, especially the front desk staff help and guidance.
Review 94:Poor wifi
Review 95:Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and excellent central location.
