Reviews for Hotel Europa

Review 1:We were 4 adults traveling together and we decided to take 1 family room. The room was old fashioned decorated but ok. A big deception was that there was only 1 airco for the whole flat and this airco could barely make 1 bedroom fresh. The couple sleeping in the living had a very hot night and did not sleep well.

Review 2:It is ok for a short stay Perhaps better experience when having a normal bedroom instead of the Family bedroom. Great location if you plan to visit the castle, walking distance restaurants and shops!

Review 3:Hotel is old. Elevator accommodates two people. AC in only one room of suite. Shower tiny. The streets of Caserta are narrow. No place to park when checking in. Parking available but tight.

Review 4:Very close to the palace. Friendly staff. Keep our luggage and allowed us to remain in their car park after checking out while we visited the palace.9. Gave us two room suite when we requested two beds.

Review 5:The hotel was simply not four star quality. The room was small, and the view was of a brick wall of an uncompleted building no more than five metres away

Review 6:The situation was excellent for visiting the Reggia, which is the only reason to stay in Caserta, but is a must see.

Review 7:Not happy at all. The two woman in the reception was a bit rude and one of them tried to charge me more cause I didn't includ my baby on the reservation (she's just 1 year old).

Review 8:The Hotel is in a good location!

Review 9:Wifi wasn't really that good, but not really an issues. No safe in the room.

Review 10:The location of this hotel is great. It's right in the heart of it all, and about 3-5 minutes walk from the train station, which is great if you're getting the train in from Napoli. The breakfast is basic, and typical of what you might find is this part of Italy. The hotel is clean and tidy, but basic. It's worth the money. If you're looking for a bit more luxury, then perhaps the Royal Caserta, or the Villa Maria Christina hotels, might be a better choice for you. Both are minutes away.

Review 11:We loved it all!

Review 12:The hotel was close to everything... The palace was within a 5 minute walk. They have nearby gated parking for only 6 Euro a night. Wonderful breakfast

Review 13:Rest of areas, hallways, rooms and especially Bathrooms totally need makeover. This is a nice 3* property slowly deteriorating to a 2*...Glory days come and gone.

Review 14:Staff were awesome, impression from curb to lobby excellent, Breakfast good. Easy walking distance to Train Station, shopping area restaurants etc. Good value as long as not expecting 3* rooms.

Review 15:-Extra cost for parking -Mould in the shower, bathroom was old and dingy -Blood on the curtains (from squished mosquitoes) -Room was old, not particularly clean and definitely not 4 stars! -Bed was 2 singles pushed together, and the middle of each bed was sunken so it was impossible to sleep together in the centre of the bed, we kept rolling away from each other.

Review 16:-Reception was nice and modern -Staff were helpful -Parking was secure -Breakfast was good

Review 17:nothing

Review 18:Good hotel location near great restaurants, pizzerias and cafes. The hotel is close to the palace which is the main attraction in the city. Lovely English speaking staff Large rooms and nice to children A typical italian breakfast but rich

Review 19:After a rainy day there is a lot of Mosquitos.

Review 20:easy to get around in Caserta, not many attractions except The Royal Palace of Reggia which beautiful and the garden is worth seeing. There is excellent restaurants, I had my best meal so far there.

Review 21:Room was in need of a refurb but for the price was adequate

Review 22:Staff and reception/bar areas were great

Review 23:Good hotel near Reggio di Caserta and train station. Very good breakfast, staff was very helpfull

Review 24:The hotel was perfect located and has its own parkingplace. We could walk to the palace of Caserta.

Review 25:Caserta palace

Review 26:Everything

Review 27:Very likely

Review 28:We needed a stopover during our tour of Italy and the Europa provided us with comfort, friendly staff and relaxation.

Review 29:Drab depressing shabby room and even worse bathroom.

Review 30:Quietness of the room

Review 31:Decor a bit grim - East Berlin pre fall of wall

Review 32:Location great for rail and visiting palace

Review 33:Staff were very helpful and friendly. We have been traveling by bike and they went out of their way to assist us.

Review 34:The staff are excellent in every way. So kind.

Review 35:Staffs

Review 36:Nathing

Review 37:Every thing is v v v nice and good

Review 38:Small and uncomfortable paid parking. Be careful - hidden door stills in floor corridors

Review 39:facilities clean but a bit hold.

Review 40:Location and breakfast were just amazing. staff very friendly and professional.

Review 41:staff very friendly and helpful, very good location, very good breakfast

Review 42:Nothing

Review 43:Bike use(free) comfort level

Review 44:Very helpful staff. Near good restaurant and palace.

Review 45:A clean and sweet place. The staff are really nice

Review 46:Parking difficile

Review 47:Centre ville

Review 48:Trying to log on to wifi was difficult. No designated 'drop off' outside the hotel was appalling. Cars parked all over the place, not related to the hotel.

Review 49:Closeness to the Palazzo and Gardens was terrific.

Review 50:front desk staff gave us wrong infos on the Reggia opening times! The recommended taxi driver did not have any taxi meter and charged us more than he should have

Review 51:the hotel is extremely close to the Reggia

Review 52:The only gripe is that the bathroom could do with a makeover - it doesn't feel very four-star.

Review 53:The Europa Hotel is easy to find, just a few minutes drive from the Naples-Rome highway and is a comfortable and inexpensive place to stay. The staff are courteous and efficient and the rooms are quiet. The breakfast was very good and they make great coffee.

Review 54:The room mate did a very bad job as the room and the bath have notbeen clean.

Review 55:Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Especially for Italyextraordinary. Good breakfast buffet.

Review 56:Only one A/C unit for two-room suite; somewhat small shower stall; somewhat "thin" breakfast buffet offerings.

Review 57:Central location; 24-hour availability of billiard room; quiet rooms; generously sized bath towels, excellent satellite TV choice

Review 58:It rained

Review 59:Hired a Suite for the night. Excellent value. The staff were great! The hotel was easy to find from the train station and there were plenty of places to eat from nearby.

Review 60:If the hotel car park is full ,parking in Caserta can be a real problem around the area where this hotel is situated. I suggest you come by public transport if you want to visit Caserta. We liked everything about this hotel and would recommend it.

Review 61:The hotel was really good value for money. The staff gave us excellent service and were very friendly. They spoke good English which helped to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast room was run efficiently and there was a wide range of food from which to choose.

Review 62:Rooms are noisy. It seems walls are really thin.

Review 63:Courtesy of all staff met in the hotel, the parking space close todowntown. Excellent breakfast selection.

Review 64:Apart from the reception area, the hotel isn't really a 4 star. There are many minor maintenance problems that need correcting to return it to 4 star standard, but these are compensated for by the 2/3 star price.

Review 65:We wanted somewhere convenient for the Reggia and the station, and the Europa was ideal. The staff were helpful and the room was clean with a comfortable bed; overall it was very good value for money.

Review 66:The hotel appears to be in a process of refurbishment and the rooms will benefit from a freshen up. Our only concern may be out of the hotels control: we opened windows for the fresh air but this allowed the entry of mosquitos that proved problematic during the night.

Review 67:Located in the centre of town a short walk from the station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Public spaces in the hotel are attractive, including the breakfast room - breakfast has good variety & quality. All rooms have free wi fi. The room offered as part of the Booking.com deal was smaller than we expected but the hotel was flexible and we were given an upgrade to a much bigger room at a very reasonable price. The room was clean & comfortable. Shower was very good.

Review 68:Water was a little tepid and the bathroom was quite small, which was unnecessary as the suit was quite big

Review 69:Helpful staff and central location

Review 70:The restaurant adjacent to the hote was ridiculously priced spend 24euros on a capucino and a coronetto Hotel was very simple

Review 71:Location was good

Review 72:staff

Review 73:price, front staff was the only things that was good. breakfast ok. rooms where old add parking cost was unexpected. don't expect luxury.
