Review 1：We requested twin beds. On arrival, it was a double, but this was soon changed. However, this meant there was even less room to manoeuvre than previously. The wardrobe doors and drawers couldn't be opened fully as they hit the bed! Balcony was tiny as we were 4th floor. It was the width of a chair!

Review 9：Room was a bit on the small side (but not a problem, hardly spent any time there as the place has so much to offer) A little "rough around the edges" - crack in bathroom mirror, bit of dodgy paintwork here and there, so don't expect a palace. Website advertises free sunbeds on private area of the beach - in fact these cost 10 euros for the two of us ( not a problem, but don't advertise something as free if its not)
Review 10：The location was excellent, right on the pedestrianised main street, close to many shops, bars and restaurants. (other people attending the same wedding as us stayed at the Garden Riviera which was a bit out of the way) All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of things you pay extra for in other high end hotels, such as air con, balcony and breakfast were included. Great value for money. Attached café/restaurant has excellent food.
Review 11：La Pergola is centrally located on the main street of S. Maria di Castellabate. For a single room, mine was quite alright, although it might have been a bit larger. Anyway, when being in Italy, one hardly stays in their hotel room. The balcony of the room was marvellous, spacious and sunny, with stupendous views of Castellabate on top of the hill, a green lush garden and a piece of the sea. The staff of La Pergola were extremely kind, helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed speaking Italian with them.
Review 12：The breakfast was poor and only started at 8am, unable to have breakfast on our departure day due to our airport transfer leaving before this time! Also the lift in the hotel was very unsuitable, very small in size especially for us with young child being placed on the 3rd floor!

Review 15：Staff are very accommodating, I arrived much later than expected and thelovely girl at reception apologised for the Italian Rail issues I'dhad and said I looked tired, so we should worry about the bill in themorning. How nice. Excellent location and still peaceful.

Theykept our passports for the duration of the stay, and kept referring tous as English, which we aren'T. Very little information providedabout the area, the town, the market.
Review 17：It was very central and convenient to everything, There was a young manat reception from time to time who spoke a little English. That washelpful. The staff in general were courteous and good.
