Hotel Olimpia sells fast on our site. The family-managed Hotel Olimpia is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and granite stones, and is just 500 feet from the sea in Baja Sardinia. Wi-Fi is free, and most rooms feature a balcony.
The Olimpia provides a terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, free parking under the trees, and a snack bar, open from 8 am to midnight. Breakfast includes homemade cake.
All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and cool tile floors. Some rooms are air-conditioned, and some feature a cooling fan. Rooms overlook La Maddalena Archipelago and Caprera Island, or the swimming pool.

Review 1：I loved the staff; they welcomed and treated us like family. Very personable. I also loved the location of the hotel and the hotel itself which had a very warm and rustic feel to it.

Review 2：The WiFi in the room didn't work and the sound proofing was poor- we could hear our neighbors next door and everything from the corridor.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel which is very quiet and yet very close to the beach and only a few miinutes walk to the restaurants etc. Very good breakfast served on the terrace with a lovely view onto the bay and mountains. Review 5：Location is excellent. Close to the beach and restaurants but on the quieter side of Baja Sardinia. Room was a nice size with a large balcony looking out to sea. Staff are genuinely welcoming and provide excellent advice.

Seems like a pointless job to be honest. Also wifi not available in all areas like advertised (we were right behind pool under reception).

Review 11：The pool looked lovely and clean but the fact there was no shade for the sunbeds put us off using it as we are white skinned english! We were comfortable at night with the fan - which was nice and quiet too, but air con might be needed in the later months of July and August if you were staying here

Review 12：This little hotel is well kept , the room was spotless , we had paid for a sea view and the balcony was not a disappointment, many of the apartments look out across the bay. Breakfast was also served with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful. A nice stroll takes you down to the beach and a purpose built piazza with wine bars, restaurants and a great sea view. It seemed a very safe area.

Review 24：No Wi-Fi available in rooms. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper but the walls must be very paper thin as the noise from people talking outside the door and in the next room woke me up constantly through the night and very early in the morning.

Badly trained young dog that jumps on everything.

It is situated in a quiet location ,but only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Baja Sardinia and 2 minutes from the beach.We would certainly return and always recommend Hotel Olimpia to all.

Review 33：The owners are extremely curious. They offer everything you want in a hotel. Location can not be beaten. Pool is kept very clean. Rooms and bathrooms kept very clean. Breakfast every day waiting for you. Anything I asked the owners they answered yes of course with a smile.

Great outside breakfast / terrace area with sea and mountain views. Boat trips to islands (designated National Park) also a fantastic day out.

Review 94：The owners (husband and wife) are present at the front desk and they are one of the most friendlies people I have met, which makes the stay a nice experience. The hotel is a 2 mins walk from the beach. Break fast is served on your own personal table, which is a nice touch. The rooms are a quite basic, but then you get what you pay for. Even though we are used to only 4/5 star hotels, we didn't mind this one much as we spent most of the day on the beach, driving around or driving our boat. The boat (Zodiac) hire is available on the beach for about £80 for half day and 120 for full day, but you can haggle as we got it for 60 for half day. A shame as in La Maddalena they charge 80 for a whole day!
