Review 1：The apartment was secure and spacious. Had a washing machine and dryer. We liked that we were out of Florence and it was easy to get to with a car. The parking factilites were good. It was also a quite location.
Review 2：The internet is not convenient. The hotel just provides one free internet for a two-bed apartment. In addition, the signal is ver slow.

Review 11：The location, quiet and scenery were wonderful. The hotel was really close to Florence as well as supermarkets were easily reachable from our location. The lady at the reception was most welcoming, helpful and careful with us, so a big thumbs up for that. The kitchenette had everything we needed, the air conditioning worked properly, the room was clean, quiet and well cared for, as well as very spacious. The terrace from our room had a great view and was likewise very spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend this place.

Review 19：Word if warning... There is no shop nearby at all. The nearest one is around 5 minute drive away in Grassina. We arrived on a Sunday with nothing at all to drink or eat and couldn't get anything as the only shop was closed. Ideally a small kiosk on site would have been useful. Also the breakfast we only got on one day and it was a pre-packaged croissant. This wasn't replenished the second day we stayed. This shouldn't put you off though - just come prepared.
Review 20：We had a lovely stay here. We chose the location as there was a bus that would take us directly to Florence which meant avoiding trying to park in the city. The apartment was great and the self-catering facilities were fantastic. Really clean and good air conditioning. The pool was really nice as well after a hot day in the city. The bus is regular from just outside the place and comes back from the bus station in Florence. The restaurant nearby is great as well. We walked there which was a bit scary on the narrow roads but is do-able and worth it for the wine!

Review 28：The nearest restaurant is 1 km away, so if you had no car you have to go by your foot and there is no sidewalk so you have to go on the road which is very dangerous, predominanty at the evening.

Mosquitoes, cleanliness of bathroom, washing machine that took anywhere from 3 hours-24 hours to do one load..if trying to wash at night, no lighting near entrance to laundry(security not good)also, different levels of stone/pathway make it very dangerous with the lack of any lighting...had to use our own torch! After checkin had to request something to light gas stove so we could cook, was given a soft book of matches which were useless.. and we were told that we would have to go and buy a lighter(we are both non-smokers)...this is right on dinner time and most shops(which were 10 minutes drive away)were closed...parking area on very sloping land and ground was mainly dirt/gravel...not solid and more so after rain! Very unsafe.

We can not understand some of the comments recently, these guests must be expecting luxury hotel.. If you want to relax and enjoy in nature, but also looking for great value for money, stay at Poggio del Golf Residence & Club! We would like to come back to this lovely place next year!

Review 38：Had to pay extra for air conditioning. Best to arrive by car. We contacted the resort to ask how was the best way to get there since we were arriving by train. They were nice enough to e-mail the train schedule and advise on taxi fare but it would have been better if they had advised us that you really need a car in this location so you can bring in groceries or get out to restaurants. Had we known we would have rent a vehicle. Also air conditioning is extra.
Review 39：It was a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the two weeks prior. Rooms are large with a kitchenette and terrace. Pool was very cold. Loved that there was a washer and dryer, though it took a long time for a single load of clothes.

Review 46：Layers upon layers of dirt. As if cleaners just changed the bedsheets and superficially cleaned the bathroom. Cobwebs in every top and bottom corner, very dirty floor, corners of the shower full of yellow grime. Pots and pans and cutlery sticky with dirt. Guests are responsible for leaving the kitchen clean upon check out and no dish soap is provided- I guess that people just rinse stuff and put it back in the cupboards- staff probably don't check the state of it. Also the internet costs 15 euros per week per device, but the signal is not strong enough to even check weather or email, impossible to open any website. Don't bother paying for access, as it's useless.
Review 47：Located on a hill, stunning views of Chianti region. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. Good for exploring Tuscany by car. There is a washing machine and a dryer available for guests. I guess I liked it, despite how dirty it was.
Review 48：I was not aware of the distance from restaurants and the city of Florence. There are no stores or restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Although the bus does help it only ran until 8pm so going to and from Florence you couldn't stay longer into the evening. The use of a car is helpful if I would stay at Poggio del Golf.

Review 50：Bed mattress are excessively worn out, you wake up pained. Wifi connection is maddening, ultra-slow. On top of this, wifi is free only for first device. If you want engage a second one you are charged a fix rate per day. Cleaning service when you leave the room doesn't include cleaning of the kitchen. So if U use it, U must clean it up well, otherwise U are charged. Any concept of breakfast you might have is over the breakfast served here. It's really poor. I can't believe that a breakfast including a hot chocolate, a glass of tetra brik orange juice and one thing to choose among a piece of cake, a muffin, cereals or slide bread with butter and jam can be name Typical Italian Breakfast. Is this really what the italian people take daily for breakfast? Still, if you choose the slide bread with butter and jam, they give you a small individual portion of butter for every two slides, so you will hardly cover all the slide.

The swimming pool opens at around 10 p.m and closes at around 8 o’clock.• Once you get at the reception, you will receive a folder full of all the information you need about the surroundings: a map of the resort, a map of Impruneta and the restaurants you can eat at, a schedule of the SITA (a bus that takes you to Florence), the rules of the resort and information about the room. We also received a touristic map of Florence.• The staff is very helpful and kind. Even though, we received and acknowledge a lot of necessary information from the leaflets and maps in the folder, my family and I still asked for some tips about visiting Florence and the surroundings, easier ways to get there and also back at the resort, etc.• You have a computer and free Wi-Fi at the reception that you can use until the reception closes.• For some extra 7 Euros per person you can have a delicious quality continental breakfast with enough food to satisfy your hunger. The breakfast is held at the reception from 8 to 10 a.m.• The apartments are clean, spacious and nicely decorated. There is plenty of room to store your clothes and other goods and the kitchen is fully equipped. You have in the bedroom an air conditioner that you have to pay in order to use it, but it is not necessary because, even in the middle of July, in the evening is rather chilly outside. The bathroom is very clean. Also, every apartment has a tiny patio where you can eat your meal or simply relax and enjoy the environment.• You have a free parking place inside the resort.
Review 124：The room was excellent with a fully equipped kitchen, a huge balcony, clean bathroom and massively big. The only surprise for us was that we had to pay separately for the air conditoning considering it was hot when we were visiting. We were delighted to experience the room and hotel facilities.

The lovely outside pool was mostwelcome after the heat of Florence. A reliable bus service runs fromjust outside the hotel to Florence or to Grassina ( a delightful villaqewith all facilities nearby) and also the greater Chianti region.. TheEnglish speaking staff were excellent presenting you with a folio ofinformation on arrival (bus timetables etc). They were most friendly andwelcoming. A great place to say on a visit to Florence . The location was excellent for both a city trip into Florence (bus stop right outside) and a car journey to the Hilltop mountain villages.
