Review 2：Courteous and helpful staff. Balcony overlooking pool and pretty gardens, and across the hills beyond. Location within easy walking distance to very picturesque medieval village Casertavecchia. Local bus, always on time, to Caserta. Breakfast and evening meals in hotel restaurant excellent. Sweet little stray dog, Tudi, adopted by the nice young woman on the staff, always somewhere outside - heart-warming.

Review 3：rooms are not well insulated for sound between rooms and between floors. A toddler making quite a racket in room above mine...dragging a chair across tile floor...resonated to my room as though it was in my room instead of floor above. Also, a noisy 18th birthday party went well into the night. Tough getting to sleep.

Review 10：Excellent pool which we had more or less to ourselves. Very reasonable price. Easy walk into Caserta Vecchia with its superb church and bell tower, good restaurants and great views. Good hotel restaurant though with limited choice of main course. Excellent base for visiting the Reggia at Caserta, Benevento and sites to the west of Naples. Parking on-site. Good view from our room (pool side).

Review 11：There was nothing we did not like except the taxi from caserta whoarrived in a taxi without a meter and charged us too much for a trip totrain station; insist on a taxi with a meter if that is how you aretravelling from this hilltop town to caserta.

Review 13：Beautiful location in campania. Wonderful hotel. Great pool. Host was a real gentleman and genuinely enthusiastic and proud of his hotel, region and food. Did I mention food? Even if you don't stay there you should go and eat there, just wonderful. Overall one of our best hotel stays. Also had on site parking, bonus!

Review 14：For those who don't know Caserta, be prepared for a twenty minute drive up from the main town (where the Palace is) to old Caserta. Once up there, the hotel is amazingly easy to find, though it didn't figure on my GPS at all. There is a steep descent into the hotel and parking area from the entrance gate. But once there, the experience is great. Comfortable room with balcony. Swimming pool (too cold for swimming by the time we were there). The great plus is the wonderful hotel staff and very good restaurant. The man who attended us at supper gave us truly wonderful service!

Review 15：Though the room was exellent, with small kids we were not sure if we were happy to have bunk beds for them, thinking they will fall out. But it was fine and we were worried for no reason. Also we spend some time checking if bed was safe (which was), as it was those beds where they go on top of each other when in use only for one. Top floor room had a low sealing and felt small(which wasnt)- but we found that we didnt spend any time in a room at all as the pool, playground and little town fully occupied us.

Review 16：Not only there is an exellent pool suitable for all ages, but they have a lovely well equiped play area just outside restaurant, which meant we could dine and have breakfast in pease and not worrying that our children are disturbing anyone. Girls age 3 and 6, but area safe and suitable for all ages! The staff was very wellcomin and extremely helpful, gone out of way to help us (finding and getting food that kids would eat, warm milk and stuff), food in restaurant was amasing, maybe not a big choise (we found that was everywhere in Italy though). Parking available and lift for those in need. And i forgot to mention the view!!! Seemed like every room had a balcony with amasing view and a place to dry your clothes (in our case). Staff superb and did there best to understand us! Brakfast was exellent, but dont expect egg and bacon as you wont get that anywhere in Italy ;) its all sweet ;)

The hotel is well situated, only a short walk from the cobbled streets of Caserta Vecchia and within a 15-20 minute drive from the Reggia and centre of Caserta. Our room had a small balcony and was very clean and well presented. Breakfast was simple, but well laid-out and very nice.

Review 32：We didn't know what to expect when we booked it, but it turned out to be outstanding. Walking the Caserta Vecchia with its charm and many opportunities to choose a different restaurante for each meal was great.When you stay here, bring you bathing suits, they have a beautiful pool area.

Review 33：Maintenance is poor in rooms. We got locked out of our room around 11 pmbecause the key would not work in the door. We were moved into anotherroom without any of our belongings and then awakened after we had goneto bed with a report that the hotel managment was able to enter the roomthrough the bathroom window. My husband had to move to the old room toguard our belongings because the door now did not lock at all while mychildren and I slept in the other room. There was little effort on thepart of managment (other than a bottle of wine) to compensate us for ourtroubles. In addition, bus service to Caserta is infrequent andirregular. We wanted to visit the Palace, but had a difficult timegetting there, other than by cab which ranged from 25-30 euro per trip.

Review 37：We only stayed for two nights but it was excellent. The hotel issituated in walking distance to Caserta Vecchia which is a small, quietmedieval village. The room was clean and has a small balcony with a verynice view. The pool side was also nice and clean. The staff was friendlybut spoke only Italian. The breakfast buffet was okay. Overall, thehotel is very nice and the surroundings are fantastic.

Review 41：I chose this hotel simply because it had a swimming pool and thosefacilities along with the garden were truly stunning. The location islovely but a bit of a trek to get up the mountain. Our room was okish.It still had the Christmas decorations up. It was quite small too andthere was a dining table with still the tablecloths on it that mostlikely had been forgotten so it made our room even smaller. Thecleanliness was good but there was an awful smell coming from one ofthe drain holes or the toilet or bidet and it was revolting. Thatruined us looking forward to returning to our room. Also the hairdryereven though it worked it was broken so you had to constantly screw thetop back on to it. THe cabling and electricity wiring left to bedesired in the bathroom as well. The window in the bathroom couldn't beopened widely either so we had to give up and put up with the awfulsmell. One evening there was a pool party until after midnight and Ithink it would have been nice to inform the clients prior to the partythat there would be some noise. Breakfast options were very poor. Forexample, either fresh sliced bread or croissants. Jams, butter andcake. That was it. I think they could extend a bit on the varieties andmake it more appealing. Also restaurant still had Christmasdecorations. The proprietor was very nice and welcoming though veryhospitable. He just needs to pay more attention to therooms/facilities. Also with regards to the booking, when using the siteit told me there were only 1 or 2 rooms left. This was not correct. Thehotel had about 2/3 rooms booked that whole week no more!

Review 42：I chose this hotel simply because it had a swimming pool and that, alongwith the surrounding gardens, were stunning. The location is goodbeautiful scenery and fresh air. You are up a mountain! We visitedCaserta Vecchia which is amazingly lovely but we didn't eat in any ofthe restaurants there. The proprietor of the hotel was really a niceguy, always there to help you and very hospitable.

Review 43：The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was plain but comfortable and overlooked the swimming pool. Food was fantastic and reasonable. Only one hour from the airport.

Review 44：CLeaning of rooms seems to start very early in the morning and it isnoisy for those who would like to sleep in a little (trolley, doorsbeing opened, chairs being dragged etc). On one occasione our room wasnot serviced but this was rectified by the late evening upon ourrequest. There seemed to be people living in teh Hotel as permanentresidents just below our room and that also was a bit noisy as theyenjoyed long telephone conversations on their balcony even late atnight. The drains in our bathroom smelled terrible so we had to keep thebathroom window open all the time nad the bathroom door closed but wecould live with that.

Review 45：The location was ideal and the staff were very helpful andaccommodating. The food at the Hotel Restaurant TOrre dei Falchi wasexcellent and very fresh! The Best in Caserta vecchia! We felt verywelcome and loved the Hotel itself and the surroundings.
