Review 1：The room was congested. The space inside the room was not enough. It is not enough to keep the luggage. Also the bunk bed was wobbly and made creaky noises.

Review 7：Kingscote is a pleasant place with most amenities and the motel was close to the beach. Lovely central garden with lots of birds in the gums. The room was well equipped, comfortable and had a spa bath. Helpful and pleasant staff.
Review 8：Wi-Fi didn't work. Staff didn't know how to get it to work. The staff didn't clean our rooms the last day. The shower was horrible. It was non-existent water pressure. The staff was not present in the afternoons it assist.

Review 10：The furniture was very old and used up. Our room was not very clean. There were spiderwebs in every corner. The bedroom was very dark and both bedside lamps didn't work.

Review 13：This is an older facility that lacks for nothing. The most important and key feature is the management. Bryan and Denise are genuinely friendly, professional and knowledgeable about KI. The room is a good size for a couple, lots of hot water, with a heated pool, a continental breakfast, a laundry; and a wifi that is reliable and fast. The main part of town is a 4 minute walk away and the coast (Pelican feeding) is a similar time away. Newer facilities are soon to be built.

Review 28：It's a classic old motel, with concrete block walls, but the sea is a 5 minute walk away, and all services like restaurants are close too.
Review 29：The owners were fabulous, nothing was too much for them. They even helped me get the ignition key out of our rental car.
Review 30：The parking is either on the street or in car parks behind the buildings. The laundry has one washing machine and dryer and can be difficult to access as there are 31 units. There is a commercial laundry off site across the road but it is expensive if you are staying any length of time. It should not be confused with modern "resorts" despite the name, as there is no restaurant facilities for anything other than breakfast, which is included in the price, but is only cereal, juice and toast/bread and spreads.
Review 31：The managers were friendly and very obliging, the staff were friendly and the location is one block from the main Kingscote shopping areas. It is set around a lovely lawn area with shading trees overhead. Towels were plentiful although a bit on the small side. The managers are making a genuine attempt to raise the quality of this older style motel.

Manager said it cost too much to supply these!! I should have known by price of room not to go ahead with booking. Will try never o make that mistake again.

Review 52：3 days at this motel, no service of rooms were carried out, it appeared that the staff were more interested in socialising than doing their job. Had to get our own replacement towels ,coffee, sugar ourselves which we found in the laundry. Landry was a mess with rubbish on the floor. Grounds to car park at night badly lit.

Review 118：I had requested a special need for breakfast due to health issues that was apparently forgotten for some reasons. Furthermore, I had called to confirm whether we could cook in the premise that happened to have been misunderstood when we reached there late in the night ending up wasting extra money and the food we carried. This was really disappointing. Also, the breakfast was not really good. We expected something like a buffet breakfast that we normally get on bed and breakfast accommodations.
