Review 1：I was terribly disappointed with the food. It is very much typical "south-indian" (no pun/offence intended) food/inclined to south-indian taste in every dish they offer, which is very unlikely in any 5* hotel. In some cases, they weren't properly cooked either. Accord got to understand not all likes the south-indian taste in every food they order. That is one prime reason guests choose 5* property over any other rated property so that they can have an option to make an order according to their taste buds. Even the swimming is not up to the standards when it comes to a 5* property. I wasn't impressed when it came to hotel staff behavior, specially with the personnel at the front desk who was managing my check-in. He sounded rude & turned me down abruptly when requested for a late check-out (though the request was made earlier while booking itself) and warned me that an extra day amount will be charged if i do not check-out by 12 PM the next day. Again I was turned down when requested for a smoking room (was requested/marked while booking was made) saying they do not have an available smoking room and insisted me to check-in to a non-smoking room instead. I was advised to come down to the pool area or go outside the hotel for every smoke. How incredible is that :) Being a 5* star property, i feel Accord need to pull up their socks to keep the game on.

Review 2：I liked the deluxe suite i was offered at my stay at the hotel. The suite (bedroom, living cum dining room & bathroom all included) was spacious with nice decor, had one big closed window in both living & bedroom with city view. At late hours of the night when the city is almost falling asleep, sitting in one of those window rest, sipping on a glass of wine, gazing through those windows in a dim-lit room and chit-chatting with your beloved, feels amazing :)

No body was looking surprised to the comment and no one seemed to be apologetic either. We did not have dinner that day night and retired to our room . Have travelled across globe but this kind of an experience at a hotel like this is in acceptable . Spoiled the entire feeling . Had a bad stay we feel

Review 9：There was a contradiction with the booking.com and the hotel policies. This needs to be addressed. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay out there at Accord. worth the money, kudos to the staffs!!

Review 10：The room service is on the slower side. The blankets on the beds are on the smaller side. It's a small thing but will surely help in the overall customer experience.

Review 11：The staff is extremely cordial. I was traveling with my elderly parents and had asked for an early check in. We reached the hotel at around 8 am and our rooms were ready. That's a big plus! The in-room dining is good and economical. The breakfast buffet has an amazing spread. The property is very well maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. We used the travel desk extensively and the person managing the counter was extremely efficient. He made our stay even better.

Review 16：The restaurant was too small and we were forced to eat in a make shift location on one of the mornings. The pool was too small. The beds weren't made on one day and we had to remind.

Review 23：Right from check-in to check out we had very unpleasant stay at Accord. There are some valid reasons to say that, a. Cleanliness of the room was very poor. b. Late night music was going on due to staff's annual celebration. So, we couldn't sleep. c. Early morning around 4:30am, staffs were fixing something just above our room. So we lost sleep since then. I have complained couple of times but not much improvement. d. Finally, the breakfast was not upto mark.

Review 27：Well I felt the entry and exit is a little confusing. They may want to consider Changing them as for anyone coming from ecr or jipmer side their exit seems to be the logical entry. I had a minor accident with their chef. Glad he was ok. They can also have a security manning the gate and guide cars through.

Review 28：I had made a special request for a pool view room as well as asked for the room to be made up with flowers. The front desk and housekeeping team did a fantastic job in getting that done and my wife was pleasantly surprised. I cannot thank them enough for going that extra mile.

They tended to all our requests (room service, check -in, breakfast, travel information, check out, any everything else) promptly and with a great attitude. Review 46：On 26th jan, republic day I attended the flag hoisting ceremony in the hotel campus with my family and I was honoured to hoist the National flag which made me proud and honoured.Thank you very much for this kind gesture.

Review 47：The room was smelly and filthy .On requesting a clean room,I was shown 3 and finally had to choose one.The mildew was evident in the bathroom and the towels were no longer white. We had a discussion of cancelling the reservation with the manager but he refused to do anything about letting us off the 2 nd.night. We rebooked out driver with this hotel for pickup on departure - the arrangement was for 9.30 from the hotel to Chennai airport. We waited until 10.00 and after no car arrived, we literally had to demand that they call us a taxi to take us to Chennai. they seemed amused at our dilemma and we wondered was this payback for wanting to leave the hotel.I got very sick my first night there - a virus do headache and coughing which was definanately precipitated by the mould in the room.Would not recommend this hotel as it is in the wrong end of Pondecherry.

Review 48：The fitness centre is absolutely not up to the mark. The entire size of the fitness centre is not even a size of the room that i stayed. All the equipments are placed over each other. This property certainly requires a better fitness centre.
