Hotel Du Soleil sells fast on our site. Hotel Du Soleil is a family-owned hotel in the residential part of Knokke-Heist and is only 150 feet from the beach and dunes. The hotel is surrounded by a garden.
Each of the simply furnished rooms has a flat-screen TV. The rooms also include a modern bathroom, some of which include a massage shower.
The hotel also has a cozy restaurant with open kitchen which offers special menus for children. Guests can enjoy their breakfast or dinner on the grounds.
There is a coastal tram service going from Knokke to other seaside cities such as Blankenberge and Duinberge.

Review 1：The apartment was very tired and dated, bathroom had cracked tiles and peeling paint. Lounge didn't have sofa seating for more than 2 people.

Review 2：The apartment suited us having 2 separate bedrooms. It was clean. Location one block back from beach fabulous, and 15 minutes walk from train station. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were great and very helpful.

Review 3：I slept in a one persons room, and it was made for one person, not so big. Partially very modern, renovated. It was difficult to find a stopcontact to the watercoocker, finally I put it on the floor.

Review 4：Ontbijt was zoo lekker, and they have an owen, where all the bread and sweet cakes are coming freshly baked from! The family who runs the hotel is very kind and friendly, very friendly welcome. And good food. Also water coocker in room with coffee or tea

Review 11：Steep stairs up to 3rd floor, no elevator. Toilet is so narrow, you can hardly sit down when the door is closed. Shower in front of the bed, no isolation at all.

Review 13：The bathroom had a glass door. Some parts were frosted & certain parts were clear. We had to put a chair right before the door so others know it's occupied and we can maintain our privacy. The apartment had a bath tub with a shower head but the height of the shower head is low because the roof is angled. i suppose you're meant to use it while you are sitting in the tub. And even if the shower head and ceiling was high enough for you to stand, there is no shower curtain that will prevent the water feom splashing out of the tub.

Review 14：We enjoyed the breakfast very much. We were expecting a room that accomodates a family of four. Instead we got the apartment instead when i inquired if there is a microwave oven & small refrigerator!!

Review 16：The breakfast was absolutely perfect with an incredible variety in bread rolls, spreads, cheese, meat, fish, pastries, scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, ... even a glass of champagne! Location is nice as Duinbergen lies between the busy (and posh) Knokke - about 30 minutes walking - and Heist - at about 15 minutes. You don't have sea views from the hotel but the beach is just one block away. Beds are comfortable and even with the windows open, we enjoyed a quiet night.

Review 17：Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They served a delicious and plentiful breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Our waiter was friendly and helpful.

Review 18：I wasn't so keen on hearing the plumbing from the other rooms.I'm also fairly certain that we should have each received asalad with our dinner, but we only received one. My husband and Iprefer vegetarian meals and were disappointed that there were onlytwo vegetarian options and the cook wasn't prepared to make oneof the two.

Review 19：The service in the restaurant was excellent. I loved breakfast! This wasone of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had in Europe and made theprice for our stay seem well worth it! Everything from mimosas toscrambled eggs, delicious and fresh pastries, wonderful cheeses, avariety of fresh breads...the list goes on. I also appreciated that itwas made very clear to me that our room would be small. There were nosurprises. Everything was very clean.

They did provide us with glasses but we had to hear the "why bot take fron us" story. Check in time is 3 pm. Checkout time is 12pm. This seemed a bit unfair.

Review 70：On our early arrival to the hotel we were warmly welcomed and allowed tocheck in sooner which we were really pleased about as we had two youngchildren who had been travelling with us and were very tired. Our roomwas lovely and cosy and the children had a separate sleeping area offfrom the main room. We liked the breakfast in the morning and were leftto help ourselves and didn't need any assistance although there was alovely waiter who was there at hand and kept a check of everything andkept the children entertained! It was in a quite area and only a stonesthrow from the beach which was perfect for us. There was off streetparking which was free during weekdays and only €3 for the day weekends.All in all the hotel was perfect, the staff were wonderful and ourchildren were really happy. We will almost certainly make a repeat visitthere soon.

Review 71：Nice hotel, value for money. Our room and also hallway and breakfast room has been recently painted which gave a fresh new look. Decent breakfast and hotel is very close to the see and nicely located between Heist and Knokke in walking distance.
