Review 1：We stayed here whilst attending a wedding in Kinnity Castle (15 mins away). Really clean, friendly and classy. Very impressed overall, plus the period style house is very interesting. The bathroom facilities in particular were really nice. The full Irish breakfast I got was 5 stars, best black pudding I've ever eaten!
Review 2：This was our second time staying at the Walcot and it is one of my favourite B&B's in Ireland! It is a beautiful period home with wonderful hosts in a great location. It feels luxurious staying there!

Wonderful breakfast in a fairytale setting. The 4 poster bed made me feel like nobility. Being across the street from a castle didn't hurt either.

Review 8：By far the best B&B/accommodation I have stayed in. The House is luxuriously furnished and the room we selected was elegantly beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat. I had requested goats milk as I am lactose intolerant and this was provided. The hosts were friendly. I would certainly like to revisit Walcot House again.

Review 15：This lovely, peaceful B&B is more like a small hotel. The room I stayed in was filled with antiques and thoughtfully, some delicious chocolates to have with the complimentary tea and coffee. I didn't hear a sound from other guests and my view over the garden was a delight. Breakfast was unobtrusively served and they kindly let me leave my car after checkout while I viewed the castle, which really is just across the road!

Didn't tell us anything about the house, dining room, sitting rooms etc we had to roam around ourselves. Def would not return for this reason. The house is amazing though

Review 20：I arrived late but was accommodated and felt to feel very welcome. Shown to a lovely room with four poster bed which proved to be very comfortable. I would have liked to have spent more time here but enjoyed my nights stay.
Review 21：The interior design is incredibly pretty, has a great breakfast option, provides free parking and is in a quiet place, not the mention the staff is friendly and helpful. On top of that, the town's castle is a couple of minutes' walk away! Easily the best BnB I've ever been to so far.

Review 23：This place is beautiful! We arrived early and was greeted by the owner who was very nice and gave us a choice of room. Our room was beautifully decorated with blue birds on wallpaper and matching curtains. Really comfy bed and pillows! The breakfast was so fresh and very nicely cooked. I can't recommend it enough.
Review 24：The welcoming atmosphere is nice. We had the first room (room 1) across from the lounge/living area for guests. It was spacious with a very large bathroom and excellent wifi. Breakfast was very nice at the time of our choosing. Large grounds with plenty of easy parking. It was a nice stop for us for 2 nights on the way from Dingle to Dublin. The castle across the street is a must do.

We didn't have the full Irish breakfast that was offered as the buffet was extensive, couldn't have asked for more. Would definitely stay again.

The house is beautiful indeed. The rooms are big and comfortable; they are professionally and individually decorated and they have good facilities. The hosts are wonderful people. Review 56：Our short stay at Walcot was absolutely fabulous. It was recommended to us by a cousin in Birr. The room & house was Downton Abbey style. There is also a lounge for visitors to relax while stayng there. The gardens are amazing. Would highly recommend Walcot to other travelers.
