Review 1：The room had no windows, it was suffocating. It was on the ground floor next to the kitchen with too much noise. Service was late. Breakfast was not refilled in time and there were long delays.

Review 6：It was a good hotel for the money. The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast was satisfying. The room as also a decent size. Everything in Whitetown (Pondicherry) is walking distance, so I was able to save a fair amount of money staying here vs. a number of much more expensive hotels a few blocks away.
Review 7：Breakfast just average. Had to ask continually for a cup, plate, water, coffee - service very slow. Had to ask staff to turn on hot water all the time and then wait for it to heat up. Room very small. Internet very slow and intermittent.

Review 9：- Lacks parking facility. - Room was extremely congested. Just a little walk-space on three sides of a queen size bed! Not acceptable for the price they charge.

Review 11：We loved the location just a few min from the promenade. The Hotel surprised us as we did not expect what was presented to us. The hotel was subtle from the outside and nestled in french quarter. Inside we loved the environment this boutique hotel had to offer, we traveled as a family and they were kind enough to accommodate us in adjacent connecting rooms. the rooms was comfortable, no such view of anything, but we liked it as we were going to be there for just the night. My sister was with us and she had two beautiful girls one 6 and the other just close to being two. we had requested for milk for the baby, and they were prompt to have that provided on all the occasions that it was requested, what was really appreciated it that the management provided the milk on the house, ( i have never seen any hotel do this). The Breakfast was decent the spread with local delicacies, and the regular dosa and idly, we really loved this place and would love for you to stay here as well.

Review 19：Very small rooms. Quite noisy. Appliances very low quality. Hot eater took over 5 minutes after running water. Staff felt to be quite overwhelmed by the demands of a poorly managed hotel with scarce resources. Light and electricity in my room went out at around 9 pm. I went out of the hotel shortly after 5 am: lower floor reception desk area was pitch dark, staff asleep on the floor I almost tripped on them outside elevator.

Review 24：The staff is really helpful and consider the travellers needs. My booking was for 2 nights, but due to some ticket issues I had to leave a day earlier , booking.com through which I had made the booking for the hotel, wouldn't let me amend my booking, but the Front office staff at Richmond helped me out and did the needful. I'm thankful to them.

Review 27：Too noisy - the inner area is highly reverbrant and the tv from the restaunt can be heard in the bedrooms. They did switch it down when asked but it was the same on other nights. Various bit were broken in the room too and it felt like it just needed a little more love in the place to warrant charging the price.

Review 68：Weak, noisy air-conditioner--clearly on its very last legs--that only kept my room just barely cool enough by virtue of my running it 24 hours a day. Weak wi-fi signal in my room and a good deal of street noise. (If I had it to do again, I'd insist on one of the interior rooms.) Only a single usable electrical socket in the room. The hotel was probably quite nice when it first opened, but now is decidedly frayed around the edges.
