Reviews for Hotel More Di Cuna

Review 1:We didn't like that we could only stay two days.

Review 2:Our family of four very comfortably fit in the quad room which demonstrates the unbelievable amount of restoration that must have taken place to make a 1300s building into a cozy hotel. Even the water pressure in the showers was great. The continental breakfast was a fine start to the day, and the reading room with wi fi came in handy. We enjoyed reading our books in the back yard. The owner gave us eating and winery suggestions that did not disappoint. We will be back.

Review 3:This isn't really a dislike as much as it is an observation. The breakfast was very good and features locally made and organic foods. There were even gluten free and lactose free items. The thing is that it is a sweet, carbohydrate heavy breakfast. There is some protien but not a lot. Not a complaint just a heads up for anyone who might be diabetic so you know how to plan for breakfast.

Review 4:Pretty much everything! The hotel is part of a farmhouse dating from the Rennaisance period which has been lovingly restored over the past several years. Real thought clearly went into the design and overall feel of the property. It's literally nestled in between two busy roadways but somehow you never really notice it. It was actually pretty quiet and peaceful. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the restaurant that is on the adjoining property is really top-notch. As we dined cars of local residents arrived to fill up the tables. Finally, it's a close and easy drive into Siena. You can't go wrong if you stay here. It was truly a delight.

Review 5:We were slightly disappointed at first to see that there were two roads running by the front and back of the hotel, however, the roads do get quiet at night and we were able to sleep just fine.

Review 6:This small hotel had all the charm of a Tuscan villa with its comfortable sitting areas, tiled floors and delicious home-made breakfast every morning. Victorio the manager did an outstanding job of making sure our needs were always met. The cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding. We would highly recommend the Hotel More Di Cuna to our friends. It's centrally located for sightseeing all the little towns in the Sienna area.

Review 7:We liked our stay at this hotel very much. The owner was very helpful and kind, The room was very nice and the hotel seemed rennovated and lovely. Free Wifi was available but didn't reach all rooms. My children loved the fresh breakfast!

Review 8:No wifi in the rooms Close to busy road No 24/7 reception

Review 9:One of our 2 mattress was a little bit old and need to be replace.

Review 16:Very friendly staff.

Review 17:no wifi in rooms

Review 18:countryside view great restaurant parking on site

Review 19:Lovely place. Very clean. Nice restaurant next door.

Review 20:The kindness of staff as well as the facilities and location

Review 21:Only negative issue was heating. I had to give my blanket to my daughter and I got a little cold.

Review 22:This is a wonderful hotel. It was the best of 6 hotels we stayed during our trip, despite we lost the way in the night (thanks to navi device) and had to drive on the fields. Location is very good because it's almost in the middle of Tuscany and so close to Sienna. It is by the road and our room was on that side but we didn't hear any noise. Our room was quite large, even with 2+1 beds. Bathroom was large too. All areas are very clean. It had all necessary stuff. Breakfast was nice if not perfect. As staff, we only saw a lady, in late evening and early morning. She was so kind and helpful. Check-in hour seems as 10pm but she waited and served us until 11pm. Provides free wi-fi and car parking. Absolutely suggested.

Review 23:Nothing really but location is just a base to visit elsewhere as there is absolutely nothing in monteroni.

Review 24:Very helpful staff , nice room and excellent breakfast . For lunch excellent tiny bar/ restaurant 100yards from hotel heading towards Siena opposite bus stop.... Really really good food!!!!!!!

Review 25:nothing

Review 26:nice room, wonderful staff, very good breakfast, far above normal italian standards. The travelbooks provided and the useful tips by the staff gave me the perfect idea what to see and where to go on my biketrip through tuscany and umbria. Thanks!

Review 27:Worried about proximity to road, but we never heard any traffic. No shopping in the town, but you are very close to Siena.

Review 28:friendly helpful staff, building is beautifully renovated, rooms are spacious, breakfast selection is beautifully done with fresh baked pastries. Air conditioning system worked well.

Review 29:Jolie batisses, jolie chambre, joli jardin personnel trés accueillant, bon petit dej et bon rapport qualité prix. J'ai adoré rester à cet hotel situé dans les collines non loin de Sienne.

Review 30:Wonderful staff who took the time to not only give directions but recommended more of the local spots for meals, along with outside of the city sights and scenic drives.

Review 31:The hotel is a bit isolated at the end of a little town. Not easy to go out on foot from the hotel which is placed very close to the road and the motorway. No wifi in the rooms.

Review 32:We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We liked the Toscan style of the building which has been beautifully renovated. It is nicely situated 10 kms from Siena, and access to the town for our visit was easy. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer. There is a pleasant lounge with wifi and plenty of books to look at. Nice breakfast. There is a restaurant next door which is very good for the evening meal.

Review 33:It's located 10 km out of SIena, easily reachable by car. It's a modernbuilding built on traditional tuscan style. Personnel was very friendlyand efficient.

Review 34:The employees were outstanding. It was our favorite stay during our two week Italy vacation. We spent 4 nights at Hotel More Di Cuna. The hotel is lovely-large rooms, clean, comfortable beds and attractive amenities. Breakfast was also the best we experienced. The staff went way above and beyond their responsibilites. Tomaso helped us with an issue we were having retrieving a cell phone we left at a hotel in Rome, and Ricardo went way beyond his duties in accommodating us at the hotel. Both Tomaso & Ricardo were invaluable in planning our days in the Tusan countryside. They took the time to give us ideas, directions and made reservations where needed. We had the best time during our stay at this very lovely hotel.

Review 35:Great location 15 min. drive from Siena, super customer service, Tommaso in reception gave us advise what important to see in Toscany, whats not. Hotel very clean, big rooms, breakfast more than adequate. Need car to get around.

Review 36:Wireless internet only worked in the main public area. Room doors wouldslam and make an incredible amount of noise.

Review 37:Very quiet, comfortable setting and nice restaurant on property. Oldstyle farmhouse redone for hotel use. Nice location outside of city andvery accessible. Staff was very friendly and assisted with all of ourquestions.

Review 38:The staff at the hotel were all wonderful: kind, informative, generous, patient, helpful, and delightful. They made our stay, even though it wasshort, feel like we were be taken care of by family. Ricardo and Robertacould not have been more helpful from information on places to visitduring our stay to art history information at the nearby Abbey. Thebreakfast they served in the morning was delicious and appeared to havesomething for everyone. Though we were not in need of a handicappedfacility, we like the fact that the hotel was easily accessible forpersons with disabilities. I wish we could have stayed longer, but weare both so grateful to have found the Hotel More Di Cuna.

Review 39:Was staing on June, 2nd. Many thanks to Tommaso (Tommy) Burroni who was very kind, helped me to fix my motorcycle tire, got me an air compressor, showed the best ways of Toscana and then suggested an awesome route via Monti Sibillini. That was the best views of the overall trip of 4000 kms. Really appreciate your help, Tommy. I think you're a very valuable employee to the hotel More Di Cuna. The hotel was also good, there was a good parking inside the hotel zone as well.

Review 40:I stayed at this hotel with my wife and 20 year old son for four nights and used it as a base for exploration. The staff could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. Tomaso, Roberta and Ricardo (the owner) were fabulous. The hotel itself was immaculate - very comfortable, very clean, and just a very pleasant ambiance for breakfast with fresh coffee and croissants (and cereal and cheese and meats and juices, etc) and for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. It is 15 minutes south of Sienna, and if you prefer not to stay in the city, this hotel is perfect.

Review 41:We loved this hotel! The owner was very helpful and friendly! Watched the sun set from the veranda....gorgeous! Highly recommend this hotel!

Review 42:Great hotel, very clean and tidy. Adjoining restaurant is very nice and great value for money.

Review 43:- hotel very clean - friendly staff - 10-15min to Siena

Review 44:Staff and facilities were excellent

Review 45:La cortesia e simpatia dei gestori rendono il soggiorno davvero piacevole. Distanza da Siena 10 minuti d'auto!

Review 46:Location on the fork of 2 roads

Review 47:Stylish decoration

Review 48:The staff members were very helpful--especially with planning trips to Siena and other towns in the area. The room was clean and spacious.
