Reviews for Approdo Resort Thalasso Spa

Review 1:Most of the staff need to understand that customers deserve a smile, a friendly attitude and to be made to feel welcome ! we weren't. We celebrated our wedding there spent a substantial amount of money and were made to feel like we did them a favour !

Review 2:Great location...

Review 3:The WiFi is basically not working at all within the room while is working purely in the lobby. This is really bad especially for people like me that even if in vacation need to check their mails, attend occasionally meeting that need a good and stable WiFi. The entertainment for kids was also really bad, they were not able to involve and so entertain kids

Review 4:The room was great, the waitress made a terrific job every day and the room was always perfectly cleaned. The restaurant was also terrific, the maitre and the chef and the waitress did the impossible to make sure we enjoyed the food and the time while eating.

Review 5:A would describe the hotel as boring. Staff was a let down. They seemed lazy and wishing they were somewhere else. Very little smiles or eagerness to help. Tables or drinks in the pool area were not tidied up. Restaurant was very basic and gave you a canteen feeling more than a 4 star hotel. Breakfast buffet was good, but didn't like plastic glasses for the juice. We were not there in high season, but area and cities around gave the feeling of sleepy towns and with the days of rain we had, there was nothing to do. No shopping or nice cafes or bars.

Review 6:Pool and beach combination was excellent. Fantastic view from the hotel.

Review 7:For our purposes this place was perfect. We were in Castellabbate for a family wedding and had a large group who were in and out of our rooms for the week. This not an american style hotel. Everyone is Italian. It is much more a beach resort than a fancy hotel. The little town with little shops is close. We stocked our fridge with food every day.

Review 8:This hotel is an Italian resort where Italians come for long visits. The two rooms we had were huge including a huge veranda with a table and chairs for 6. We had a kitchen discretely hidden by closets including a microwave, 4 burner gas range, full sized refrigerator, sink and dishes, flatware, pans etc. Our room for two had a master with queen bed and a second room with 3 beds, a dining area with couch, the outdoor dining area overlooking the sea and a nice bathroom with modern shower, no tub. A protected and private beach with umbrellas, towels and beach toys plus kayaks was just outside our door. Beach is not sandy so protective foot covering is helpful.

Review 9:The location is beautiful; the hotel is set right at the edge of thesea, with just a beautifully laid out terrace and small but very wellmaintained pool between the hotel and the sea. I could only hear thesound of the lapping waves at night, no traffic noise. The room wasspacious and spotlessly clean. I was on the first floor, looking ontothe beach side rather than the harbour side. I had a good sized balconywith a great view. The balcony had a clothes airer which was helpful fordrying my swimming costume. I had dinner in the hotel and thought it wasgood value for money. The food was very good and dinner was presentedvery nicely and served promptly. Staff were friendly, polite andefficient. Thank you for lovely stay. The hotel didn't arrange taxisfrom Agropoli station but were able to suggest a company which did thisvery efficiently, so you can get here even without a car or tour companybus. I liked all the greenery inside and out.

Review 10:Not an issue for us personally , but the hotel is used by a uk travelagent. The client base was more English than we normally find when wetour in Italy.

Review 11:A delightful hotel that was our base for touring Cilento. It is in avery pleasant spot with an adjacent private beach and pool below thepatio of ech room. It was particularly pretty as hotels go. Well thoughtout furnishings and greenery dominated. The experience of staying herewas one of calm and quiet. Good accessible parking. You will need a carif you want to tour as public transport is infrequent and organisedtrips seemed costly. Good large town at Agropoli and excellent ruins atPaestum. St Marco village is not huge but has all you need on holiday. For a quiet beach holiday we would strongly recommend this hotel

Review 12:Nice Hotel, great location, friendly staff. We had a very good time.
