Review 1：No bad experience. Everything was great.

Review 2：We arrived at Hotel Panorama where they immediately gave us an upgrade to the newly renovated fourth flloor. The room was excellent, with a superb view from the balcony of the beach, promenade, and the coast.Federico and the staff were extremely friendly and most helpful in giving advice on buses and ferries to explore the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast was huge, containing lots of hot food and delicious pastries. The coffee machines were such that you selected what you wanted - cappuccino, latte, macchiato etc - and they made a pretty decent cup as far as we were concerned.Between 16.30 and 1800, the hotel made available to guests get free cups of coffee and tea and glasses of juice and biscuits, at the upstairs breakfast and pool area. Which was very handy after getting back from a long trip.The bus trip to Amalfi is about 25 minutes, but just over an hour to Positano (after changing buses at Amalfi), and two hours to Sorrento. These seem like very long times, but in practice - due to the beautiful scenery and the fear of imminent death on those narrow winding roads - the time passes very quickly.I picked Maiori and Hotel Panorama as my base for visiting the Amalfi Coast because I was driving and needed somewhere to park my car at a reaonable cost. The funny thing was, as we made our way to the various destinations and came back - we decided that we liked Maiori a lot more than some of the far more famous places we visited. We really missed the place when we had to leave after eight days.There are lots of restaurants in Maiori, I only tried two, one I thought good, and I was extremely annoyed with La Vela just down the road from the Hotel (they seemed to like serving regulars first, kept us waiting an hour, and stuffed up making simple lasagna). However, the takeaway pizza place just out and to the left as one exits the hotel is great. The pizza topping was very good, but the pizza base was the best I have eaten - ever.

Review 3：The staff was helpful and friendly, the hotel was beautiful and we loved our stay. Would highly recommend Hotel Panorama. Maiori is a great town, and you avoid all the stairs of other Amalfi Coast towns. Definitely best to take the train to Salerno, then the bus from there isn't too bad.

Review 4：The bed was so hard I actually got bruised ribs, hardly slept for the whole week. The price of the drinks in the bar was ridiculously expensive.

Review 9：There was very little to do in this small town. No activities during the day or evening. You either go to the beach (too cool), eat or shop. No musical events, etc. It was a reprieve from the busy Amalfi and Positano.

Review 11：A kettle in the room to make a nice cup of tea in the evening would have been nice but this is really only a minor comment.

Review 12：From the moment we entered the hotel until the time we left the whole experience was excellent. There was nothing we did not like (apart from the weather). Even before we left South Africa the email contact with the hotel was efficient and pleasant. I would definitely stay again but for a week next time. 4 days was too short. Hopefully next time the sun will shine! We were in room 416 and the view was amazing and the room has been beautifully upgraded.

Review 13：We found out upon arrival that we booked the hotel when off season. So, several amenities were not available to us including satellite tv which was unfortunate because it rained for most of our stay and we had no tv.

Review 20：Water of the smallish pool on the terrace not heated at all. Have to pay very high daily rates for umbrella and beach chairs. Difficult to navigate TV channels.

Review 21：Expremely helpful, competent and committed staff able to speak several major languages. Excellent breakfast served on the sunny terrace. Attentive waiters. View of the coastline from the balcony. Rooms (at least those on forth floor) elegantly and tastefully redecorated using top quality bathroom fixtures. Soundproof windows. Balcony has clotheline to dry clothes.

Review 22：Parking was away from the hotel. Dropping the luggage off and then parking the car etc was a bit of an effort.

Review 23：The location across the road from the beach. No stairs!!! The roof top terrace was s great place to sit and watch the view with a drink in hand. A beautiful view.

Review 25：Ida was fantastic and chirpy staff when we arrived. Even helped us with the bags. The hotel was also very nice to give us an upgrade and even offered a bottle of Prosecco as its our wedding anniversary. Thumbs up for excellent service and location! Dedalo is a must go to restaurant for wonderful good Italian food!

Review 26：The room was very basic with a tiny bathroom. Furthermore the hotelcharges a lot of money for parking (15,- per day on their own terrain!)and the beach access. As hotelguest you got just a small discount of 2euro on the price of 19 euro per person to go to the beach. At checkoutthe receptionist was extremely moody and hardly said a word to us. Itwould not harm Hotel Panorama to ask proactively whether their guestslike their stay.

Review 29：We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Panorama!! We loved everything. We were hosted on the 4th floor with an amazing view of the ocean. The room was big, king size bed with sofa and balcony, big bathroom with double shower. The upstairs bar area and swimming pool was great for relaxing. Breakfast amazing! Thank you very much. We had a great stay!!

Review 30：Booked two ocean view rooms on Booking.com and was offered an upgrade to Executive rooms but the upgrade did not mention the rooms were no longer ocean view.

Review 44：Parking was 15 euro per night (which we were aware of on booking) however the car park was located at another hotel a few hundred yards away and unloading luggage at the hotel involved either negotiating a complicated one way system or entering the one way street the wrong way as most seemed to be doing! Pool area very cramped, few loungers which were all 'bagged' with towels from way before breakfast.

Review 62：Location location location. Right in the middle of where you want to be - bars, restaurants, promenade, beach, cafes, shops etc. The room terrace was fabulous.

Review 64：We stayed in room 411 it was modern and luxurious. It was our honeymoon and upon our arrival we received a complementary bottle of prosecco which was gorgeous! The views were breathtaking and our balcony was a must! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping 5 star. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice, it was lovely to sit on terrace for breakfast. Through email before travelling the reception staff arranged our taxi transfer to and from airport, which was great also. Would love to return!

Review 65：Size of pool, but since it is on the roof, probably has limited possibilties. Cost for beach with coupon from hotel is between EUR 12 - 24 per day, depending on where you want to sit. Half price after 1400hrs.

Review 67：Like i already mentioned a small minus for the width of the balcony. One more minus for the bathroom not having a bath tube, it was after all a suite! Very big minus for the black coffee at breakfast. As a lover of black coffee, i could not drink the coffee at breakfast. Had to go out to the nearest cafe to get better black coffee!!

Review 85：no information 'visitors book' in the rooms. Didn't find out about the bigger pool until we were due to leave! Level 5 pool was too small and too few sun-loungers - paid for sun-loungers ( on beach ) for 3 days as a result. coffee in machines at breakfast - wanted fresh.

Todo el personal del hotel muy agradable y solucionaban cualquier problema (tuvimos un problema de salud y en menos de 30 minutos el médico estaba en nuestra habitación). Tiene una vista increíble y una ubicación inmejorable. Los desayunos muy buenos. Si no les gustan los tumultos de gente la mejor opción es alojar en Maiori.

Review 89：At the end we were not allowed to check out late, despite this having been an option when we arrived. We were offered a room to shower in, but basically had to spend 7 hours walking round the resort or waiting in the hotel for our airport transfer. As we had a 6-hour drive facing us once in England it was a bit off that we couldn't have had a nap somewhere.

Review 90：We arrived early and were allowed to go into our room. Bonus! They upgraded our room to 'luxury'. It was a lovely airy room with balcony facing the sea. Staff were all very helpful, especially Giovanni and Ida. Breakfast was lovely and varied.

Review 91：The pool is really too small, and the space for loungers is tiny. There was more space higher up and away from the pool but there were not enough loungers. The price for access to the beach should be much reduced for hotel guests. Wifi was very poor in many areas, especially the bedrooms.

Review 92：Hotel was wonderful, spotlessly clean with lovely staff. The location was amazing with private beach just across the road. The views from the terrace were stunning. Little things like the complimentary tea/ coffee in the afternoon, free beach towels etc were a really nice touch.

Review 93：Bed was hard and WiFi rarely worked, not really a bad thing as generally it is nice to get away from technology but as we had some trips planned we were hoping to make some last checks online for our itinerary which meant we had to resort to paying extra for international roaming on our mobile phones as couldn't get a WiFi signal.

Review 96：The hotel is located on the sea front. Our room was large and minimalist and had a bath which what we wanted, the view from the balcony is good. All the staff are very friendly and very help full. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We had an evening meal one night and it was the best meal we had during our stay. Parking is available not on site but 5 minutes walk away, but the car was under cover so did not get hot whilst parked.

Review 105：The restaurant, we enjoy good food & drink but only dined there once because the initial experience was disappointing, the wine was bad & the main meal pasta wasn't fresh, worse still it was undercooked, however the waiter service was great & both the wine & pasta was exchanged for other choices.

Review 107：The rooms were not brilliant and do need updating. The beds in particular are very bad and you can feel the springs of the mattress. It's all clean, but is very basic, not 4 star. Also the sea view rooms have a very busy road between you and the sea, which was a little noisy especially as our aircon didn't work and we had to sleep with the window/door open.

Review 111：The friendly and helpful attitude of the staff made this a brilliant holiday. Breakfast on the roof overlooking the sea was amazing. This is such a welcoming hotel and we can,t wait to return. It's worth getting a sea view room where you can also hear the waves lapping on the beach as you lie in bed but you do have to be prepared for some traffic noise if you go for this. Food was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Review 114：The location was amazing, just a short walk to their own private beach. The hotel had its own pool for when didn't want to get sandy. The breakfast was an amazing change from the typical, lacking European breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly, and Maiori is a great little town with hotel right in the middle. Wifi worked great, could even get it on their terrace while looking out at the water.

Bed was uncomfatable, but then its a personal preference as we are memory form snobs :)
