Reviews for Hotel Villa Clementina

Review 1:Do not come here late at night -- very difficult to find. Those coming up from Rome (about a 45-mimute drive) will have an easier time. We came from the north on small roads and it was very challenging.

Review 2:Beautiful property, every room painted specially by the owners. Accommodating staff.

Review 3:We booked a queen room and got a twin bedded room for our romantic get away. Beds were hard and pillow flat. Was like sleeping on floor. Did not get much sleep because it was so uncomfortable. Hotel had only two other guests so no reason to put us in bad room. Rooms let the hotel down. Over priced for quality recieved.

Review 4:The staff was great and very friendly. Food was excellent. Nice garden and surroundings

Review 5:The villa and the gardens were romantic, lush, comfortable, and charming. The food was authentic and delicious. The staff was friendly and highly accommodating. I can't wait for our return trip. The location was perfect for us.

Review 6:Everything was fantastic If I had to choose 1 thing, the pillows were a bit hard for our personal liking otherwise nothing at all.

Review 7:Everything at Villa Clementina was fantastic. The hotel is set back from the lake and is a quiet private hotel. The room was big and spacious, although no balcony every room has garden space outside to sit in which was like a private sitting area that no one else could see. the hotel grounds were absolutely fantastic. Only 7 rooms but bigger grounds than most of the big main stream hotels. A beautiful pool, a tennis court if your feeling fit, a pool table & a beautiful breakfast included in the room rate. You can buy a lunch snack and evening meal. The light lunch was truly the best light lunch we've ever tasted. Italian meats and cheese with fantastic fruit. Only the best local produce used and tasted beautiful. You will struggle to find a hotel anywhere that offers such fantastic service coupled with amazing beautiful gardens and pool. Fausto who owns the hotel with his wife Clementina is 100% hands on. Nothing is a trouble, he will do anything he can to help & make your stay even more enjoyable. The service and help he gives comes naturally, he is a true Italian gentleman with the highest of values, he also speaks multiple languages fluently. Villa Clementina is his life & it's such a refreshing change to see such passion in everything he does. It was a pleasure to be in his company. The other staff at the hotel follow his example, fantastic people. We are very pleased we didn't opt for the slightly cheaper option down the road. We went to look and you seriously get what you pay for. We highly recommend a stay at Villa Clementina.

Review 8:This is a peaceful place - with easy access to Rome and close to historical places of interest. Staff are friendly and professional and the residence itself is quirky and original. Just lovely.

Review 9:As this is in a remote though lovely location. ideally need a car to get around. Otherwise need to use taxis.

Review 10:The friendly welcome and helpfulness that ensured we completely enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

Review 11:Idyllic and romantic setting in a beautiful location. The staff are extremely friendly and will always do their best to help you in any way they can. The meals were delicious with freshly cooked food and wines from a local winery........well worth a visit!

Review 12:The title description of the hotel included the word "spa". The promised spa was very expensive (in addition to the expensive room cost). More of it: the spa was unavailable. There were no facilties to prepare a tea ( which would very suitable for the weather ). The parking place is uncomfortable. There were too much keys: remote control for the main gate opened the gate, but did not closed it; there were key in the lock of the secondary gate, which prevented opening the gate from outside.

Review 13:The location is great: quiet, nice, near the town. Staff were very kind. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower warm. Air conditioner worked fine and heated great the room when we got back from the cold of the streets.

Review 14:Spacious, very comfortable room in a high quality small resort, set in a beautiful garden close to Lago Bracciano. Lovely restaurant with garden views. We were very well looked after by charming hosts.

Review 15:- there was nothing worn, if I have to say something, I would mention that the bed was only average comfort

Review 16:- the location is great - the atmosphere is relaxed and romantic - the room was beautifully decorated, clean and functional - the garden is plain beautiful - the restaurant is excellent - the staff and owners are incredibly kind and supportive and most of all, they love their place and their job - the collection of hats of the owner's wife was quite interesting

Review 17:For our taste, the hotel is a little isolated. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are a 20-min walk away, partly unlit at night. A bar or drinks service in the garden would have been welcome. Our shower was disappointing - handheld on a hook inside a slippery, slow-draining bathtub with inadequate flood protection.

Review 18:Beautiful 8-room hotel set in a large, peaceful garden about a mile outside Bracciano. Fausto is a genial host and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Rooms are distinctively decorated but otherwise quite simple. Our bathroom was a good size and well provisioned. Breakfast is light but adequate. We ate dinner in the hotel once - the food was good but we ate better elsewhere at lower prices. The pool is very pleasant.

Review 19:From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we were made to fell welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Villa Clementina is absolutely fabulous. A real treat to visit there.

Review 20:Our room was one of the suites, the wall paintings made it very busy and not as relaxing as it could be. It did not have a sitting area, as both rooms were bedrooms. Breakfast was a a little basic not really 4 star, so I was disapointed at that. Our stay was slightly over priced and felt more like a nice bed and breakfast than a hotel, so although we enjoyed our stay we di not feel it was a 4 star accomadation

Review 21:Our family loved the garden and inviting pool. The setting for evening measl was in the garden and candle lit. The evening meal was really lovely.

Review 22:Bathroom a little dated

Review 23:Amazing staff, especially Fausto but really all of the people we met. Our 1,5 year old daughter was spoiled with hot chocolate for breakfast and specially made for her pasta for dinner. We were even given stale bread for feeding the ducks in the lake. One night we had live music with our dinner and the croissants at breakfast are to die for! Very, very nice place to stay.

Review 24:Peace and quiet and the invaluable care, help and attention of Fausto ,his family and staff. Great food .

Review 25:WiFi was poor

Review 26:Great location, beautiful grounds, very peaceful and food was amazing. Also, such lovely owners, very friendly and welcoming.

Review 27:A beautifully kept hotel with particularly delightful grounds and pool.

Review 28:Parking

Review 29:Pool

Review 30:Lack of Wi-Fi access.

Review 31:The staff were excellent. The food and accommodation were good and the pool and gardens beautiful.

Review 32:An oasis. Just great.

Review 33:The owner's attitude was very welcoming, friendly.

Review 34:Relax, open space and the gardens

Review 35:Personal attention and engagement with the staff.

Review 36:Dinner Garden Staff

Review 37:To use wifi we had to sit outside our room, which the owner did tell us upfront. The air conditioner in our room did not cool the room.

Review 38:The graciousness of the owner & staff. The villa's beautiful grounds with large swimming pool, tennis & bocce courts. The delicious breakfasts & dinner. The spaciousness of our room & the bathroom which contained a bath & separate shower.

Review 39:nothing.

Review 40:If you are tired of exursions in Rome and just want to relax and receive silence, comfort, beutiful nature around, you should go to this villa. My husbend and I stayed there for one day aftrer 4 days in Rome, we were happy to relax a bit before departure. There is nice swimminpool, rooms are very stylish, personal are very kind. In the evening we went to the Castle nereby the village, there are a lot of small and cute restaurants and very nice view to Bracciano lake.

Review 41:It is a friendly relaxing place to stay, close to Rome and the airport. Bracciano is an interesting town and the lake is close. The owner and staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. I would go back for a longer stay.

Review 42:There is nothing not to like at this location; I would not have been there for the third time if there was.

Review 43:I have stayed three times now at this Hotel. It is a peaceful location, with large rooms, good food, a beautiful setting and very friendly staff.

Review 44:small road to the location

Review 45:Homely atmosphere with personal touch from signore Fausto, telling stories at dinner.

Review 46:Absolutely everything. Wonderful place, wonderful staff. Would love to go again one day.

Review 47:The room was not at level of a 4 stars hotel (very moisty). The price is too high for the quality of the hotel.
