Reviews for Club Hotel Baja Sardinia
Review 1:The private beach is all rocks. Be forewarned. The drinks are also expensive at the private hotel beach. No biggie.
Review 2:The setting was quaint and romantic. The staff is super friendly.
Review 3:Note that while the hotel has a private beach it is 300m away and tiny.
Review 4:Location - 50m from a safe, sandy beach about 400m long that slopes gently into the sea. Snorkelling is possible. Motor boats are kept at a distance from the beach.Views are beautiful. Rooms - ours was a superior room located in a separate block behind and above the main hotel. The room was large, clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Position - the hotel was in a pedestrian-only area of this small resort with shops and half a dozen restaurants within 200m of the hotel Climate - we went at the end of June and enjoyed non stop sun, temperatures in the high twenties and a pleasant breeze most of the time.Perfect for lying on the beach and tanning.
Review 5:Male staff in breakfast room were mostly unhelpful - busy rearranging cutlery on unoccupied tables and ignoring guests at tables - quite ridiculous. Female staff very very helpful and observant.
Review 6:great bar staff Pretty sea facing rooms Beautiful position
Review 7:In the evening and early morning rather noisy (singing in the bar till 1 am, in the morning - cars with food or smth like that)
Review 8:Location, room, sea and beach, free hotel parking
Review 9:Music playing late into the night from the bar below my balcony. Long walk to supermarket Lack of transport to Porto Cervo - We caught local bus in and had an expensive taxi ride home - a courtesy bus would have helped.
Review 10:View of bay from my balcony Buffet Breakfast served outdoors with amazing views and excellent staff and service Daily fresh towels private beaches Wednesday Boat ride around the islands
Review 11:No pool, no gym, it need of modernisation
Review 12:Views/location
Review 13:The hotel does not have a swimming pool nor access (free) to the facilities at the main bay.
Review 14:The location and view are superb.
Review 15:Our mattress was old and uncomfortable (we stayed in room 602)
Review 16:We loved the private beach, stunning and we also loved the hotel lobby and the American bar, really comfortable surroundings. And we liked that it was so close to the other bars and restaurants in the resort.
Review 17:Wifi doesnt work well in the rooms. It´s 2013.
Review 18:Great location just by the sea. Lovely view - we had a sea view room which was soo worth the extra 30 €. Very nice private beach/rocks with ok food, good service and comfortable sun beds. Maria Teresa in the front desk helped us out very good. She should be head of this hotel, not the grumpy old man in the front desk. She was extremely service minded!
Review 19:Could have offered more options for tourist activities.
Review 20:Staff always very helpful and polite. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect location.
Review 21:Hotel is in a perfect place, on the sea shore, nice beach, rooms have terraces.Breakfast was excellent.Hotel has underground parking.I strongly recommend this hotel.
Review 22:At dinner, either side of the 2 self-service buffet items (starter and dessert), you have to order your main course. This comprises just 4 items - 2 fish, 1 vegetarian and just one meat dish. As my wife connot eat fish, and does not prefer vegetarian, she was left with a single choice. Chicken did not appear once in the week but rabbit and veal did. I think the hotel should widen their selection! The attitude of the staff at the table was certainly a bit cool, a bit rushed and not given to smiling easily - which contrasted with the happy staff everywhere else in the hotel! Unless you arrived at 7.30 for dinner, you risked being left with few buffet choices. It was a pity that the background music comprised a loop of about 10 tracks, partly comprising strident rock music - not that we mind that usually, but think of the context at dinner. Why not intersperse the selection with what Italy is famous for? - opera and romantic ballads. Didn't hear one! I would say the drinks were on the pricey side. We would have ordered a few more rounds had the cost been more reasonabe! And a pity there was no beer on draught - you had to visit one of the bars just outside the hotel for that. Finally a bit surprised that Carlo - talented though he is - didn't get a night off! Most hotels alternate their evenings' entertainment with 2 or more acts in a week. It's a minor point really because he was really good!
Review 23:Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, being positioned on the corner of the top floor was superb, having 3 double aspect windows with beautiful views over the bay. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. A delightful welcome of a bottle of sparkling wine and a basket of (fresh!) fruit brought to the room was much appreciated. The selection and quality of the self-service buffet items at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. The position of the restaurant on the terrace was wonderful with a very calm and serene atmosphere. It was usually very easy to find a table and the service was generally good. The evening entertainment was provided by Carlo - a very talented and versatile musician - who conjured up a wonderful range of songs, from opera to rock 'n roll.
Review 24:Be careful with the hotel parking! We had to leave early morning and ourcar at the hotel parking was blocked by bmw suv, after an hour it waspossible to find an owner, who left to visit tour of isola Maddalena andhad to be back at 17:00. as the garage entrance (and garage itself) issmall, the evacuator could not enter. The hotel staff kindly offered usthe additional day of stay in the hotel and lunch to cover thisinconvenience.
Review 25:The beach is marvelous with the choice between chaiselonges at the sandor in the park with natural shadow (real aroma therapy!!! Suggest toeverybody). Water is transparent with little fishes. There is also a barwith very kind barman/beach assistant, there you may eat lunch and drinkrefreshments. The food at the restaurant of the hotel is delicious.Restaurants at the central square (next to the hotel) are expensive, andgerman tourist oriented (staff speaks German even if you do not knowGerman :)))
Review 26:parking facilities
Review 27:location and staff were great
Review 28:Attentive staff Excellent Location Lovely restaurant and fabulous food
Review 29:It calls itself a four star hotel, but the facility is in need of substantial renovation/modernisation in order to be a 4-star hotel.
Review 30:The location
