Camping Lacona sells fast on our site. Set on the south coast of the Island of Elba, Camping Lacona includes a summer outdoor pool, a restaurant and free bike hire. It offers independent mobile homes with a private patio and free Wi-Fi.
This large campsite is set in 28,000 m² of Mediterreanean parkland with eucalyptus and pine trees. Lacona's sandy beaches are a 5-minute walk away.
Accommodation is spread across the park, and features simple furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Most units have air conditioning, a sink, and a private bathroom.
On-site facilities include a restaurant, bar and shared laundry. The property provides entertainment in July and August and a free internet point.
The sandy beach of Lacona is a 5-minute walk from the property, while the pebbled beach of Margidore is only 350 feet away. Ferries to mainland Italy leave from Rio Marina and Portoferraio, both a 12-minute drive away.

Review 1：camping lacona is located in the middle of no where with pretty much zero public transportation. very difficult to get around and there was no one there, felt deserted.

Review 4：Offered price in booking.com was not realistic. Only after reservation payment I discovered that there will be a lot of additional costs. It's not a good way to make a business.

Review 5：Free kayak, bike, nice playground and swimming pool, ideal for children. Minimarket, bar and pizzeria-restaurant. Very quiet and very nicely shady thanks to beautiful eucalyptus trees. Friendly staff and perfect location: next to beaches (you can reach Margidore and Lacona within a few minutes, Laconella and Contessa by foot) and very strategic for exploring the island. Looking forward to be back!

Review 6：Parking was sometimes full - have to put my car to the nearby non-shaded parking. I do not feel safety with that spot. There is no city/village in walking distance. Beach not very nice, but ok for children because of shallow sea.

Review 7：Restaurant and shop in the camp. Very friendly staff, shaded parking in the camp - sometimes full. We stayed in the cottage - clean, nice, equipped. Good restaurant in the middle of the beach.
