Review 4：The standard of hotels in this part of the world are very good, but this one is extra special. I had a single room but it still had views of the town tower and mountains beyond. I loved the decor and the huge bed (would be classed as a double in England). There is a range of lovely comfortable outdoor furniture to lounge on. The food was excellent and the staff pleasant and welcoming in spite of my poor German.

Review 7：I forgot the host's name, my apology to her, she has a genuine and warn nature, a gentle and lovely lady who is so ready to help. The view from my room was good. The dinner in the hotel was excellent, don't miss it.

Review 22：For my liking the mattresses were a little too hard I had trouble to find a comfortable position. I didn't like the fact we had a menu for dinner and not an *a la cart* menu. No other restaurants were open in the village.

Review 28：No negatives except for the difficulty of getting to the hotel if not arriving by car or bike as most people seem to do. It's a long haul uphill from the train station, so if you come that way arrange to have a taxi meet you at a specific time.

Having checked withwww.booking.com that we did indeed have a confirmed booking we can onlyguesss that this was a deliberate ploy by the hotel to give businessdown the road. Review 32：Of the twelve hotels we stayed in during our short trip, this one gets my vote for the best one overall. Beautiful interior, very friendly service, great food, fair price. Just a small warning, you should check the town route to the hotel, or could get stuck in some very narrow roads trying to get to it!
