Review 1：Lack of some kitchen staff (e.g., knife for meat), though one can ask for it (we did not as there was no need this time)
Review 2：This was our second stay in these apartments. I think, the apartments have been renovated since our first stay as the bathroom was really nice. It is very close to the beach.
Review 3：The wifi doesn't work because there are too many people using it. The beds were so hard and are like sleeping on the floor. The pillows were like rocks. The bed sheets had yellow stains and something was making us itchy all night. The rooms are full of Mosquitos. (Install fly screen for heavens sake).

Review 6：+ the location was really helpful for going to chania and the beaches and there were many shops around. However I hate Platanias cause it was sooo touristic (i am greek) + the price was really good + the rooms were clean and big enough + the staff was really kind

Review 8：The Family environment The food is great taste and value wise, not to mention the prime location of the restaurant The price in terms of location is really amazing and affordable. The kids and us felt safe as we were dealing with trusting people. Staff are nice and EXTREMELY helpful. We forgot our cell phone and the owner refused to accept money for shipping our phone. Nothing can beat these special human relationships.
Review 9：1. Wi-Fi is tragic. Regularly disconnects. Even for emails - you can use phone at most. Not really suitable for PC or VPN use. Mapping applications, reading about local attractions, reading the news, facebook - really difficult. 2. Parking place is a myth. It is just parking on the street. 3. Restaurant bills!!! - often incorrect. 4. Paid bed sets. 5. Shower could be better. Not suitable with kids under 5. 6. Take your shampoos, hairdryer with you.
Review 10：1. Nice place - excellent for the money. Nearby to the east you can enjoy sandy beach. Near the hotel itself it's too deep for the small kids. No sand also. 2. Food is good. Fish, dakos, salads are good. 3. No noise, no loud parties. 4. Friendly owners. 5. Clean rooms

Review 14：The family running the apartments and the restaurant are sweet and efficient you get extra free services like ordering a taxi, using their washing machine, The apartment is cleaned daily including washing the dishes. the restaurant serves fresh fish and delicious Greek food you ae living at the beach and you can rent chairs if you need for a couple euros a day

Review 18：A great place run by a very friendly family. We felt welcome and well taken care of. Probably the best possible location in Platanias, the same for the restaurant on the premises. We loved it and would like to come back.
Review 19：Perfect location, almost nex to the sea and beach. Only 200 metres to the bus stop where you can go easily to Chania in 20 minutes. A lot of space, great terrace + small balcony! Nice and frienly staff! Really low price!
Review 20：Hotel staff was rude and felt not welcome to this hotel. Firstly we were told by hotel sunchairs to be free for hotel guests but in next second someone comes collect money of them. Then they blame each others and nobody takes responsibility. We had no idea who leads this hotel.
Review 21：Hotel location very good, in the heart of Platanias. The hotel is also next to the beach. Rooms are clean and in average condition. Cleaner lady was nice.
Review 22：Shower corner in the bathroom was really small but on the other hand there was no shortage of hot water!
Review 23：Excellent location, close to the beach and still only a short walk away from the centre of Platanias. We had a spacious 1 bdrm apartment with two balconies on second floor. Small balcony off the bdrm on the seaside had a table and chairs. Bigger balcony facing the street with a sideway view of the sea also had a table with chairs as well as two sunbeds and a clothes drying rack. Staff was very nice and helpful but also gave you all the privacy needed.
Review 24：The only downside was, that it was virtually imposible to shower without flooding the bathroom.
Review 25：Our stay at Ilias Apartment was great, the apartment is directly at the beach and the view from our balcony was beautiful. Up the street were several shops, supermarkets and restaurants and plataniás itself is good city to stay in, it's close to the main highway of crete and with car a lot of surrounding places can be easily reached. The apartment was small but clean and considering the price pretty perfect. It was cleaned every day and after asking they even changed our towels regulary. The owner was very nice, even though his english wasn't very good (his german is better...) but his brother owns the joining restaurant and speaks english well, when we had a question he could always help us. I would definitley recommend Ilias apartment we had a lovely time there.
Review 26：Great place to stay. The big rooms with own kitchens and terrace. If you traveling by car-those apartments has best location for discovering west Crete.
Review 27：Very nice familyhotel. Friendly athmosphere with exellent service. The restaurants are one of the best in Plataniasand with really good and professional service. Close to the beach and close to the village. You can´t wish for moore.
Review 28：Ilias apts. was perfect for me and my family. The owners were really friendly and helpful. The apt. was comfortable and had a great balcony looking to the beach. We felt like we were staying at a friends or families house. The location was perfect, right on the beach. It was very relaxing and the kids had a great time on the beach all day. There'se also a really good restaurant owned by the same family on the premises. I definitely recommend this place to other families or couples.
