Review 2：Really central, but set back off the main road. Good A/C, good hot water pressure, decent-sized balcony, big car park (2 Euros per day - peanuts!). Nice pool & sunbeds, with bar & meals/snacks at reasonable prices. Really enjoyed it and would go back.

I like how the hotel is off the main strip which tends to get crowded, so it's peaceful yet close to action and beach! Great price, nice pool and friendly staff. I highly recommend staying here.

Review 7：It's a really great place to stay! 3 min from the beach, few steps from the main road (but quiet). People working there are really nice and helpful ( especially Mr.Dimitris - menager :)) ) Rooms are clean, fresh towels every second day. I was traveling with my boyfriend and my parents and we all can truly recommend this place! :) We will definitely be back!
Review 8：Apartment newly refurbished with 2 balconys with an unusually good Greek bathroom. Dimitri very friendly & helpful. Also 'train ' rides were v. good & enabled you to see scenery which you wouldn't without a car!
Review 9：The wifi is not working in some of the rooms which needs correcting and be aware the main Platanias entertainment district is close by. Very convenient but quite noisy up until 23.30 most days.
Review 10：Dimitris is a great asset in himself. Friendly and helpful and not too intrusive. To get a studio with sea and sunset views and a swimming pool is incredible at this price.
Review 11：The shower is tinny, bed was a bit too hard (wife was fine) and there was a horrid live music at the bar on the corner which was very disruptive. I can imagine being a bit too noisy during high session.
Review 12：Value for money is great. Perfect location and the staff cannot be more friendly and helpful. They attended to all our requests including booking cabs, extra pillows (my wife was heavily pregnant) and printing boarding passes. Loads of restaurants around and the supermarket is less than 5 minutes walking. Beach is a very short stroll away. Definitely recommend it.

Review 14：The owner was REALLY friendly, ordered taxi when we arrived to Chania, called around if we wanted to visit any places.
Review 15：The pool is fair and two days was completely closed. During our stay after three days we through the towels on the floor in order to be changed. The cleaning lady did not change them instead she putted them back in order to use again.
Review 16：The location of the hotel. It in the heart of Platanias but there is no noise. The hotel manager was really helpful and kind. Our room was renovated with new furniture.
Review 17：There were no shampoo and toiletry items available, but two small bars of soap. The day we arrived the room was not carefully cleaned, we found hair in the bathroom and the toilet was dirty.
Review 18：The personnel is very nice and friendly. The location is good as it is seconds away from Patanias' square and minutes from the beach. It is very quiet.

Although we complained to the owner, one of the four days we stayed there the cleaning lady did not come to our room. After that, we had to buy stuff to clean it ourselves. As a result, we weren't feeling comfortable and our mood was ruined.

We had balconys and wifi was available pretty much everywhere in the hotel. There was even a nice pool to lounge by. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Platania!

Review 51：The hotel is very central but also very quiet, the swimming pool and bar were immaculate, the WiFi setup and reception was brilliant. The rooms were very clean and tidy with the maid on hand every day.The parking was very easy once you found the route in.The owners were really friendly and also extremely helpful near the end of our stay when I had a medical problem (bad back). Getting hold of a doctor out of hours and overcoming a small crisis was really appreciated. You would be hard pushed to find any fault with this hotel.

Review 62：My friend and I we went for 3 days for short holiday. We enjoyed every moment in the hotel. The best in this hotel that is not crowdy, u can swim in the swimmingpool as much as u can, also the sea side is about 5-7 minits on foot. The staff was very nice. If i will go back to Crete i will stay there for sure. I loved it :D
Review 63：Absolutely fantastic! I've been to many other places around Agia Marina/Platanias, also the luxury ones (e.g. Santa Marina Plaza) but this has to be the nicest one. It's right in the corner of Platanias Square, but so hidden that you don't hear any noise at night. The rooms are nice and very clean & the airco works great. It's only a street crossing away from the beach, and it has a nice pool, that is almost "empty" everyday. Its very relaxing, compared to other hotels where the pools are full of people/kids. And being next to Platanias center, all the shops/grocery stores are near. I also want to bring to attention the wonderful managers/owners, a wonderful family that do all for you to feel at home. Especially since traveling alone, it's very important to feel safe & taken care of. I feel so at home that even though I had thought to stay only a week and change hotels, I will stay my remaining 2 weeks here. Its wonderful :) Ja vielä suomalaisille, varatkaa tämä hotelli, aivan mahtava!
Review 64：Hotel Amaryllis was in a very nice location in the city of Chania. It was in walking distance to amazing beaches and very cool bars, which made our holidays fantastic. The hotel itself was in a very good condition, the room was in decent size and the staff were friendly and willing to help us. I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel amaryllis and I am more than happy to recommend it to anyone, who would love to have an amazing time in Chania. It was exactly what we say..value for money!
