Set in Malles Venosta, Garni Sonne is 3.4 miles from the Watles ski slopes and has excellent bus links to Switzerland and Austria. It offers free parking, a bar with terrace and a buffet breakfast including homemade marmalades, fresh fruit and local produce.
Rooms have a traditional mountain design with wooden furniture and carpeted or parquet floors. Bathrooms are either private or shared.
A sweet and savoury breakfast buffet is served each morning. There is a BBQ on the terrace, you just need to bring your own food.
Sonne Garni is great for bikers and offers a free storage room for motorbikes and equipment. During winter a free public ski bus stops just a few steps away and reaches the slopes in around 20 minutes.

Review 1：Excellent breakfast from local suppliers, friendly staff / owner and offered to keep the motorbikes in the garage. Very comfortable beds!! Had the best sleep in two weeks! ;-)
Review 2：too many rooms sharing only two showers on the floor, old furniture, shared balcony with other rooms --> the only balcony door (no window!) had to be closed while staying out, quite noisy creek next to the hotel
