Reviews for A Durmì
Review 1:Nothing
Review 2:We were met by the lovely sisters who provided us with a huge amount of information. Maps, directions, places to eat etc. The rooms were lovely & clean & beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the extra pillows! We loved the terrace & the lovely local wine. Fantastic location as well, right near old town..Thanks girls, great job!
Review 3:I was introduced to the restaurants but wasn't with great taste. The one in the corner when you passed by on your way to hotel is much better. A restaurant opposite to a fruit shop only opens at night time is very nice. But I fotgot the name of the restaurant...
Review 4:Nice reception, good location, easy to get around to town. Nice garden but not enough time to enjoy.
Review 5:One of the best stays we had in a month-long holiday in Italy. The two sisters running the place couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was detached from the main building and opened onto a beautiful garden. Facilities were excellent. Highly recommended.
Review 6:the mosquitoes were brutal
Review 7:It was amazing! Both Elisa and Chiara were so kind and welcoming, giving us our whole itinerary and excellent walking and restaurant recommendations! The garden was stunning and our accommodations were clean and charming. I will recommend this to anyone visiting Cinque Terra!
Review 8:Great room, very spacious and had plenty of electrical outlets. The sisters who ran the hotel were wonderful. I cannot say enough about how helpful and kind they were. They were the icing to our stay. Also A Durmi is a short walk from the train station.
Review 9:Very helpful - I had limited time and the staff went out of their way in giving me the options available. Without them I would not have seen so much of this beautiful part of Italy.
Review 10:Price of hotel was extremely high for the quality of the hotel. Entrance to hotel was very busy and noisy with pedestrian traffic, bike, mopeds, motorcycles. Breakfast room is noisy just off of street and in same room as office & front desk. Rooms were very basic. Girls working desk were nice but owners could barely say hello.
Review 11:The Garden area was nice.
Review 12:We were well assisted by Elisa and Silvia from A Durmi! They were great and definitely made our stay a very memorable one.. We will surely visit them again the next time we visit Italy.
Review 13:Not really a bad experience at all, just wish we had more time and hope to go back again. We were lucky to find this on a national holiday when everything else was so booked up - and surprised given that this was so lovely and yet still available.
Review 14:The hosts were great; guided us to things to do including a place to swim locally that was not part of the public beach. Always accommodated our requests and in the most cheerful and welcoming manner I've come appreciate in Italy. We stayed on the second floor in a lovely apartment with cooking facilities and a beautiful and well equipped dining area to eat outside, lounge on chairs and read at the end of long days sightseeing. Perfect - also a nice selection of wines so we did not have to go far to complement our home-cooked meals. Absolute luxury.
Review 15:Nothing, we were very pleased with both the establishment and the town of Levanto.
Review 16:The two sisters who run A Durmi are wonderful, helpful hosts, happy to provide all the one needs to explore Cinque Terre and Levanto. They went out of their way to make excellent restaurant reservations, lend us maps and guide books, and welcome our dog.
Review 17:There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect!
Review 18:The apartment was very clean and spacious. We loved the town of Levanto and the grounds were just lovely with all the surrounding gardens. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable.
Review 19:The first room we stayed in was pretty loud, but after switching to another room everything was perfect.
Review 20:The owners are lovely, and. Opulent be more helpful.
Review 21:We had the most fantastic stay at A Durmi. Ciara was very welcoming, and helped us to plan our time in Cinque Terre. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and anything we needed was attended to quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Review 22:The hospitality and friendliness of the staff. A nice, quiet garden to relax in after a walk in the mountains. Good breakfast. Close to the center of town and to the seaside.
Review 23:The internet isn't the greatest but still works.
Review 24:We were travelling through Italy on our honeymoon and booked in to A Durmi last minute and loved the place. We were given a free bottle of wine on arrival to celebrate our marriage and a jar of jam on departure made from their own lemons. Its clean, comfortable and modern. We ended up booking in for an extra night because we liked it so much. Within walking distance to everything and for a small fee had secure parking onsite. Great accommodation and highly recommend it.
Review 25:We didn't stay longer.
Review 26:The hotel is beautiful and in a wonderful location, especially if you are looking to discover Cinque Terre. Very welcoming and homey. Elisa was unbelievably helpful and wonderful. Made us feel like family. The staff made us feel like family and made us not only want to come back but recommend this hotel to all our friends. Also very helpful information about the area and all the recommendations for places to eat were spot on! Thank you so much for making our visit to Levanto so wonderful. Truly wonderful family run hotel.
Review 27:Chiara was an awesome host! She gave us all the information we needed to get around and take the train to the Cinque Terre. She was also so helpful when someone in our party got sick and had to go to the hospital. The guesthouse was so cute and very comfortable. The location was perfect for us. We will definitely recommend to other friends who will be travelling to that area!
Review 28:It's a lovely, peaceful and charming llittle hotel. Chiara who manages it is an absolute gem! She gave me so much advice about what to do and where to go- she couldn't have been more helpful. I loved my stay here.
Review 29:Staff was so helpful and accommodating! Our room was absolutely perfect in every way. The bed was so comfy, the location is perfect, the room and bathroom was so clean. They gave us ideas on what to do, and where to go. So glad we stayed at this charming place!
Review 30:Nothing.
Review 31:This stay was a continuation of a previous stay as we couldn't go to Cinque Terre. There was no question about staying here. Your ratings aren't high enough to say how good it all is; the owners, the accommodation, it's all excellent ! Levanto itself is a marvellous place so visit if you can.
Review 32:the rooms are a bit old fashioned.
Review 33:really very, very friendly and helpful staff! breakfast is a mini-buffet, but considering the price, it's value for money. wifi in the common room works very fine. ideal location: not far from the train station and from the centre of the village.
Review 34:The rain.....and Chiara even made that part of our stay better. Levanto is a hidden gem, on the beach and near walking and Cinque Terre.
Review 35:From the minute we arrived our hostess, Chiara, could not have been more helpful. Her advice and recommendations made the stay great. The room was terrific and the location is ideal. Highly recommend a stay in A Durmí !
Review 36:It was a very nice little Hotel with a beautiful garden and the personal was so kindly and give us a lot of information about the city and other things to do in our holiday in Levanto.
Review 37:No wifi in rooms.
Review 38:The rooms and bathrooms were a good size. Clean. The outside garden area was wonderful to sit in in the evening and enjoy some wine. Chiara was charming and helped us with planning our time in Cinque Terre. Reception area available for wifi.
Review 39:We travel the world (retired airline pilot) staying at the Durmi was a super experience. The staff was outstanding. The location is great. The room was super clean. We will for sure be back.
Review 40:What a great hotel in Levanto! Large apartments; perfect for a family travelling. And the outside terrace and patios are wonderful. I would like to stay here again.
Review 41:The location is wonderful, with not only their gardens, but also all the other gardens in the neighborhood providing lush, green surroundings. But the best part is the warm welcome from Chiara and Elisa. They are fountains of information about Levanto and the area, including Cinque Terre, and are most generous with their time to make sure their guests have what they need.
Review 42:This is the perfect accommodation, the staff were excellent and so friendly. The rooms and courtyard are very homely and comfortable. It's a short walk to the beach and the staff give you maps and loads of information on what to do in the area. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a great Italian experience xxx
Review 43:Internet is not available in rooms, only in the lobby, a minor complaint. Breakfast is not included in the room cost.
Review 44:Very friendly family staff, sat down with us to plan our visit with tips and guidance. Easy walking access to the entire village, train, and ferry.
Review 45:Nothing. It is perfect.
Review 46:We have stayed in Levanto a few times and this is the best and best value place for a young family. The managers Elisa and Chiara were helpful far beyond expectation and the family apartment we were given was amazing. Plenty of room for a family of 5 in 2 rooms and directly on a sun soaked terrace.
Review 47:Levanto was a charming town and perhaps the best of the Cinque Terre towns we visited (although not an official town). It had great atmosphere and beach and also felt like Italians lived there and not just tourists. The best part of all though was Chiara and how helpful she was, along with the hospitality of the rest of her family-- she provided the best customer service we had in all of Italy. Thanks!
Review 48:+ Breakfast room that was like an indoor cafe, with products from the region, in well-lit displays + Outdoor courtyard that one could relax in + Modern bathrooms + Underground garage + Location is close to train station
Review 49:The French doors were the only way to air out the room, except for the bathroom window.
Review 50:The owners were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent and a good value for the additional cost.
Review 51:We were so well looked after during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location in the town of Levanto and very near the train station for getting to the Cinque Terre. Garden area for relaxing :)
Review 52:n/a
Review 53:A very quiet place, in the middle of a garden separated from the street. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, big room, big bathroom, detailed information from the staff on what to do and where to go (walking and cycling tours). Definitely worth the money. The city is small so it's easy to walk to the railway station or to the beach (less than 10 minutes). Do rent a bicycle and do a short trip along the coast through the tunnels.
Review 54:All the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly.
Review 55:Staff were friendly and helpful, the location was superb and the facilities were clean and well appointed
Review 56:Leaving

Review 87:Tv connection was faulty, kept dropping out.
Review 88:Great advice and friendly staff who couldnt do enough to help. Breakfast also good but if included in price would have made value.
Review 89:Wish they had breakfast available at the hotel. There was a café a few doors down but with the kids a hotel breakfast just would have been more convenient.
Review 90:The staff was wonderful during out stay - very helpful and friendly. Also, the apartment was clean and nice and the atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and peaceful. Great location as well. Levanto was a nice town to stay in and Cinque Terre was easily accessible. Will recommend to friends and if in Levanto again will definitely stay at the hotel again.
Review 91:We were happy with every aspect of our stay at A Durmi.
Review 92:The sisters who run this B&b are fabulous. So caring, helpful and they speak very good English and other languages. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the outdoor garden seating area is very calming, after a busy day visiting the CT. Breakfast is continental and is an extra 7 euro per person, and worth the convenience of eating at the hotel. Highly recommended.
Review 93:Staff was very helpfull with local tips. The location was great, right in town and close to the train station. We enjoyed the coffee shop around the corner. Room was spatious.
Review 94:Short walk from station in one direction. Short walk to the town in the other. Lovely garden. The family who run this are all extremely helpful and friendly.
Review 95:We could hear people in the room next door having a shower. No internetin the rooms. Available at the reception only.
Review 96:Chiara and other member of the staff were extremely helpful, warm andwelcoming since the minute we booked. Chiara anticipated any needs wecould have had (parking, map, pick up from the station, arrival, departure, every single step and detail were carefully thought andprepared to make our life easy and feel expected). Once arrived, shetook the time to show and explain everything about the hotel, thevillage, the best places to have breakfast the hotel doesn't dobreakfast in low season) and most importantly tips and relevantinformations for hiking trail in Cinque terre. Also, how many member ofstaff would lend you one of their own jacket to keep you warm duringyour hiking? Nice people, large room, safe place, lovely time.
Review 97:Did not realize that they do not provide breakfast services in the low-season (although there was a wonderful cafe down the road). Wifi was only available in in the public area, but it was manageable.
Review 98:Run by very friendly people. Room and bathroom were very large and well kept. Easy walk from the train station and to the beach. Was a lovely stay and we were sad to leave.
