Review 1：The renovations being done on the room next door was a big problem. hammering and grinding starting at 8 30 in the morning is unnecessary. There is plenty of time in the day to do theses noisy works. Not when your guests are trying to sleep in on their holiday. I suggest noisy work be done after 11am. The room service menu could also be improved.

Review 10：oh my god, i love all about this hotel!! the staffs are super kind and helpful and polite. the room is very beautiful & comfortable. the location is great. the hotel area is very class and beautiful. there are many night clubs, bar, restaurant, shoping store outside the hotels. and kuta beach is just behind the hotel. its about 5-10 minutes walk.

Review 11：Hotel staff in particular when calling for taxi would promote the service of taxi drivers who would try and charge large amounts for service. This made me not use any hotel taxi service for the remainder of our stay

Review 17：My room was on the 5th floor and was accessed via a long dark, featureless, corridor with a bare concrete floor.That somehow gave the impression of a prison. the room was very small, and nothing special at all the prison theme continued. Whilst it had windows there was no view at all as they were of frosted glass. the curtains were so badly stained, I fail to see how this had not been rectified. the bed linen was clean, but the pillows had a strange smell. My room included breakfast, so on my first morning I went up to the restaurant early. I was the first in, great I thought everything fresh, sadly not. everything had that prepared last night, and reheated look to it, and the size plates they supplied would have been more appropriate for a Kindergarten. The breakfast experience was so bad I did not bother on the second day, and ate outside. Apart from the staff, I found nothing about this Hotel that warrants its high score rating on this site.

Review 18：The staff were all extremely polite and helpful, and all seemed to have a good command of English. The location of the Hotel is good, with many restaurants and entertainment venues on the same street. A bit of a hike to the beach though.

Review 21：The Akmani is our favourite hotel in Bali. We love the modern look, the facilities, having breakfast on the rooftop and the value for money. When we arrived we were shocked at how beautiful it is! The staff are even better, Rian is amazing and so friendly and happy, he is a good friend to us now!

Review 29：We will never stay here again! This was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in in Bali and definitely the worst. In general the rooms are a little daggy compared to the photos. The First day we arrived there was a horrible smell in our room coming from the bathroom. Staff continued to try and mask it with spray but this did not work. (This Smell was also present in our friends room aswell as the new room we were later moved to) We ended up being moved to a different room as there was a lot of ants and bugs in our room. There was a crack between the window and wall where they were coming in and we found them all over our clothes. To start the staff just kept spraying bug spray which didn't work so we got moved. Also one day we left the change the sheets card on the bed and came home later to find the bed remade but with the dirty sheets.

Review 32：The staff asked us to pay for the whole of our stay in cash when we checked in. Of course i understand, but we arrived pretty late in the evening and we just arrived in Bali after a long boat trip from Gili (if you ever been to gili island with a kid, then i guess you should know how tiring it was).I didn't have a enough cash with me. I had a 4 year old with me who was really tired and hungry, so you can imagine the crying and nagging part. At that moment i just wanted to check in to our room and put our stuff in there so we can have a proper rest and a good meal. I told the receptionist to hold on to my credit card for safety and that after taking some rest we will come back to pay for the the whole thing in cash. The staff was playing a bit difficult with that. I have a feeling that they didn't trust us that we will come back. (Well, they know which room wr are staying anyway). After a long talk and explanation they finally let us check into our room. It was a waste of an hour worrying for nothing, and we instantly had a very bad energy from the surrounding when we arrived. Although, i should give credit that the staff at the restaurant were very friendly. But receptions could smile a bit more and please don't be so tense.

Review 33：The atmosphere overall. Pool rooftop was nice, not as cold as the one on groundfloor. Location is really in the legian street market. It is nice when you are going to walk but beware when driving cause it could be very busy and traffic in the evening is bad! This hotel has a parking garage :) That's a plus for their guest.

Review 55：Stayed at the akmani legian on two occasions, but in total approximately 8 days due to flights cancellation during the volcanic ashes period. Staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Location was absolutely perfect!! About 10 minutes walk to the beach, clubs and surrounded by restaurants. Buffet breakfast was really good, but we got bored of it after a staying there for eight days. The rooftop pool is the best i have seen in Bali! Definitely reccomend.

Review 66：The noise from other guests who were loud and drunk some nights. The resturaunt "street food" on street level which was attached and affiliated with the Akmani, served us terrible food one night. It was hit and miss. My meal was lovely but my friends was cold and stale.

Review 68：Two things were when we arrived we were told we had a to pay a deposit of 500,000 rupiah. When we said we didn't have the currency and only pre paid cards that didn't work in their machine they let it go which seemed a bit odd and maybe a con. Second thing is we were only there for a couple of days as a place to stop before we travelled to the islands but the noise from nearby pubs and clubs can be quite loud. Ok if like us you're using it for a place to stop before moving on but I would be upset if my entire holiday was there. I heard other guests complain of the noise.

Review 76：It was more in Kuta than Legian and as someone who'd never been to Bali before and wanted to stay in Legian its kind of a bit far away from Legian for our liking. The breakfast was okay and the pool downstairs was cold and nobody used it. The hotel didn't have much of a vibe as the drinks upstairs were highly priced. The amount of money we spent staying here we could have probably stayed somewhere closer to Legian with a better holiday vibe for a lot cheaper. There was nothing exceptionally bad but just wouldn't stay there again.

Because of the footprint of the building the main pool is often in the shade, at least you won't get sunburn. Location (very traffic jammed main street and full on annoyances by the local sellers, not cool at all!) I did not like the design of the corridors and some times the cleaners would knock on our door at around 8.00 am to come in and clean!

The shower smelled really bad too and they had to change the shower heads. The first day i had to shower in very bad conditions and i stinked after the shower. The last day of my 5 days stay they proposed me to move to another room... but i was too lazy to pack everything for just 1 night left. I wish they had refunded at least half of what i paid because half of my stay was really awful.

Why have 1 member of staff that knows what they are doing when youncan have 3 that don't. Roof pool is shallow not really deep enough for a proper swim but great for sunbathing. Lower pool nice ,deep but shaded. Breakfast was always good. Housekeeping was a little bit hit and miss with towels but on the whole was good. Aircon great. Wifi good although logs you off if not used and sometimes was down.

Review 112：The classic rooms have blacked out windows and no balcony or terrace so even though they are big rooms they feel dark and claustrophobic. If you can book a delux room as they overlook the pool and have a terrace or bslcony.

Review 113：The hotel is located right beside the madness of kuta but only a cheap taxi ride from Seminyak. The staff were great, so friendly and helpful. The pools are lovely.
