Review 1：4 from 5 for cleanliness because 1. Kitchen looked less than spotless, 2. Ladies toilet near restaurants was smelly and not too clean. (Note that the bedroom was absolutely fine). WiFi a bit iffy. Small front desk still does not have a sensible checkout system, despite my comments on this last January. Before I pay, I want to see a printout of my bill so that I can take it away and check it (we've experienced a number of errors when leaving Indian hotels). Instead you are expected to crane your neck to look at it on the computer, thus occupying the receptionist's time, reducing space at the desk, and preventing access to the computer for other staff, all of which generate a queue of grumpy guests.

Review 10：i have booked 5 standard rooms and i get confirmation email from booking.com and got my booking itenery with me but when i reach the hotel they say all the rooms are full! even after i show my booking confirmation emails they still told me that they never receive any email from booking.com regarding my stay! after more then 2hrs of arguements with the duty manager he agreed to get me 3 rooms! this is very dissapointing!! really got pissed of!

Review 14：The first night we stayed in a room that wasn't very clean as well as a bit noisy (next to the inhouse restaurant). We asked to change the (which was handled efficiently) and had a better room for the second night.

Review 26：Reception staff were clearly disinterested in being helpful in any way past collecting money. At times almost rude. Unwilling to provide or volunteer info about travel, directions, etcetera. Truly unpleasant to deal with!

Review 29：The Hotel is very close to the temple and all its surrounding streets, which are really interesting to wander around. The breakfast is lovely with a good choice. If you don't fancy Indian, you can ask for an omelette, and they will also bring toast and jam to your table. The milk coffee is delicious!

Review 30：Breakfast room can get rather cramped at busy times, and the offerings are a bit limited. Note that, although not made obvious, eggs in various formats are available on request. Hot water only available 06.00 to 10.00 (?) but when it's so hot outside - hey ?!

Review 31：Good location - near station and only 500 or 600m (50Rs by Auto) from Meenakshi Temple. Staff seem well-trained and know what is expected of them. At all levels they are able to interact in a confident, helpful and pleasant manner with guests. Rooftop restaurant clean and serves tasty food without having a ridiculously long menu, half of which is 'not available' (as in so many places in India !). Even the basement bar is clean and pleasantly managed, although sadly the range of drinks on the menu does not correspond to what is actually on offer (which is either different or, yes, 'not available'.

Review 32：Granted Madurai is not a bar town but to put one in the basement of the parking garage was horrible and bad smelling.

Review 33：Room was clean with hot water showers and the linens were crisp. Wifi was reliable as well. Though there was a constant need for new passwords regularly. Staff was professional.

Review 36：Inspite of paying a higher cost for a more superior rooms with air conditioner + TV, one of the rooms that we had booked had a defective air conditioner and TV. The room was therefore stuffy and hot. The television set was not functioning. One room was good whilst the second room stay for the family was disastrous. Nothing was done to rectify the defective equipments, inspite of our complains.
