Reviews for Dan Caesarea Golf Hotel

Review 1:the pool was closed because it was off-season but there was a fine weather, we had problems with hot water and brown water

Review 2:food was good but not awesome, they took care of us really well because we got married so they put us in as suite

Review 3:First room for 3 nights was disgusting. No sea view unless you had binoculars. Mattress stomach churning in filth, mildew in bathroom, dirty carpet, double bed was two singles pushed together with hard ridge down the middle. Upon complaining were told we could leave immediately and not be charged a cancellation fee. Eventually moved. Paid final bill and found no reduction whatsoever for disgusting first room. Weather 75 to 81 degrees but pool closed due to cold weather although hotel was air conditioned!

Review 4:Second room

Review 5:Housekeeping was not consistent. New towels sometimes has to berequested. Dirty dishes left in room for days. Still perplexed as to whywe were not told of Yom Kippur shut down earlier.

Review 6:Staff were helpful. Courteous and friendly. Especially front desk . Roniand Mor were very accommodating with a room check request. Dining roommaitre'd was charming. A very elegant gentleman. Made the experiencespecial. Breakfasts were wonderful!

Review 7:Room was not ready at 2 pm. When finally got to room, they had sprayed so much perfume to make it seem like it was clean, it was impossible to stay in room.

Review 8:Hotel good only for people with young children as pool, large grass area, day camp and playground all in enclosed area. Not good for adults and teenagers as facilities old and dirty.

Review 9:My room was a bit cramped. (#612) Other rooms were bigger. Facilities need some updating (carpeting, light fixtures, etc.) For the price ($230 per night), I expected more

Review 10:Room was clean, staff was friendly & helpful. Food was excellent.

Review 11:The tranquility of the surroundings. It was also very restful sitting round the pool until a lot more people arrived later in the day. The staff around the pool were very attentive

Review 12:Location and territory are overwhelming, which reduce all small minor issues. The style of the hotel is extremely cosy and created in good taste, however requires some renovation in places. In general perfect day, wish to come back.

Review 13:I think the pool area is just beautiful and the facilities for children of whatever age are amazing. They also keep the pool area so clean. The staff are excellent. The food was a lot better than I expected.

Review 14:Location and one of the best breakfast buffet. While expensive Dan Panorama rates are competitive with other comparable Tel Aviv hotels located along the Med.

Review 15:For 5 star hotel it is very old fashioned and needs a redue! The room and bathroom were clean but very old (probobly didnt get renovated since the mid/late 90's). Like most expensive 5star hotels in Israel does not give the value for money. Althogh service was grate will not return to a hotel that costs 1000 shekels per night for a old-fashioned room that totaly takes away the desire to take a bubble bath

Review 16:Really grate staff!!! because it was off season there werent many guests and we enjoyed the spa only to ourselves (which has a very good quality sauna) and got upgrated to a bigger room with a balcony, and they let us stay

Review 17:We were less impressed on this second visit and will look for other accommodations if we want to visit the area again. The breakfast on a non Sabbath morning was lacking in hot food offerings.

Review 18:This was our second visit to the Dan Caesarea Golf Hotel. Our purpose was to have an overnight stay near the Roman ruins and not for golf. The location is very good for our purpose.

Review 19:Room too hot. Lights not bright enough

Review 20:Lovely large comfortable room for 3 and bathroom with excellent towels and a good shower. Good breakfast

Review 21:Breakfast was only'ok'.

Review 22:Room was a very good size. Staff were friendly.

Review 23:Short distances to the aqueduct and ancient Caesarea

Review 24:needs major refurbishment of hotel

Review 25:the rooms need a bit of refreshing

Review 26:We got upgraded to a wonderful room with a large terrace, very good service!

Review 27:Excellent breakfast!

Review 28:Decent hotel. Exorbitant price.

Review 29:The weather and the view was great

Review 30:Good location bur need a car fabulous grounds decent service staff well trained room fine all in all a great hotel

Review 31:high price, but it was during high season

Review 32:nice pool breakfast friendly staff

Review 33:bedrooms in need of renovation separate lounge area away from family's larger dining room

Review 34:the grounds were beautiful staff very attentive

Review 35:A bit noisy

Review 36:Very nice staff, good room facilities, will definitely return to this hotel

Review 37:The supper we had in the hotel was not good. The meat was hard like shoe soles. The price was not worth it.

Review 38:The pool area is fantastic and clean. The room we had was nice and we had always enough towels in the bath.

Review 39:This hotel is a total rip off. The room interiors are about 50 years oldand are disgusting. When we stepped into our room it stunk of smoke. When we are asked for a new room one staff seriously offered to'spritz' the room. Thankfully another staff member offered usanother room. Probably the worst value for money hotel I have everstayed in, period. This place needs to be demolished but clearly theyare making too much money out of it so why bother.

Review 40:The pool area was decent, not too busy and quite big, nice gardens.

Review 41:The relation quality/price is not good. The breakfast is not so good. The installations of spa are so little. , because the dinner is so expensive, breakfast is not good, and during winter you haven´t indoor swimming pool. You haven´t wifi in the rooms and you must pay 20$/day !!

Review 42:The instalatios in summer are good if you like swimming and the sun

Review 43:Slightly tired hotel in need of modernisation/ refurbishment. Breakfast wasn't great, considering high Israeli standards.

Review 44:Convenient for local event Clean, good size room with balcony overlooking sea. Helpful staff.

Review 45:furitures from the 80's room service on saturdays ,insuffcient suppllies, poor variety. 5 stars rating is excessive.

Review 46:staff is wonderful at all levels. breakfast is good,

Review 47:There was not coffee maker in the room. Internet is not free. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

Review 48:The room was very spacious. The pool is very nice. The garden is very clean, nice vegetation. Good breakfast.

Review 49:No free wifi, the internet costs 20$/day and operates only in thelobby or in the room. Hair dryer doesn't really dry, an old model. Some days dinner only in the lobby restaurant a-la-carte which has notmany things to chose.

Review 50:Very tasty cooking, friendly staff, nice location

Review 51:Room service food was terrible but we did not have to pay when we madecomplaint.

Review 52:Breakfast was great. The grounds are beautiful and it is in a lovelypart of the country. Rooms are very spacious but a bit dated in decor.

Review 53:it would benefit from little renovation, especially the bathrooms, charge for internet (seems common in Israel, but really not up to date internationally)

Review 54:nice rooms with big balcony, wonderfull breakfast, beautifull gardens, 70s charme, location (next to Chaesarea, probably one of the nicest bit of Israel's coast line). For me the reason to book was that I stayed there with my parents and sisters in 1980 and love to re-visit places.

Review 55:i liked the gardens and the grounds of the hotel , made the hotel feel very spacious.

Review 56:wifi didn't work in the room

Review 57:very nice pool and spacious room

Review 58:The staff treatment

Review 59:Poorly maintained, dingy and dirty

Review 60:Location

Review 61:needs a total revamp. really very old furnishings etc

Review 62:not much

Review 63:Way too expensive during Easter

Review 64:Great pool and garden. Proximity to only 18 hole golf course in Israel.

Review 65:not enough staff and even when they exist not efficient and rude

Review 66:old fashion style
