Reviews for Villa Clelia
Review 1:There was a unpleasant smell in the bathroom and room. Also there was a funny sound from bathroom every 15 minutes, that was a real turn off.
Review 2:The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful.
Review 3:The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is great, close to the centre of Levanto (lovely little village) and easy to access the train to cinque Terre. The room was very clean. I truly recommend.
Review 4:First of all I liked the fact that Nicola welcomed us at the train station, he has a quaint villa centrally situated and had all that we hoped to find for our stay, he stored our luggage for the day and kindly took us back to the station. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to all visiting this beautiful part of Italy.
Review 5:The location was perfect for the Cinque Terre. Nicola, the owner, was so helpful. He transported us to and from the train station, provided us with tips and maps for the Cinque Terre and suggested restaurants! We highly recommend Villa Clelia.
Review 6:Nicola was extremely personable and helpful with lots of information about the area. We appreciated his pick up and delivery service to and from the train station. The B&B room was compact but very clean and in close walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy walk to catch trains to Cinqueterre towns. Nice breakfast. Hope to come back someday and stay longer in one of his apartments.
Review 7:Nothing
Review 8:Great location in a lovely town. The room with the private balcony was enjoyed with a glass of wine/ breakfast. Fantastic breakfast provisions. Very friendly.
Review 9:The room was a little smaller than expected.
Review 10:Host was very welcoming, we had access to bikes, had our own outdoor space and great breakfast. Close to the beach and all restaurants.
Review 11:The bed was a bit hard for our liking but might suit others
Review 12:The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and very helpful all with a smile. Location is great to all Levanto has to offer. Nice little balcony to relax on in the evening.
Review 13:The facility is very old and they do not have reserved chairs at the beach so we had to find our own and pay for them.
Review 14:The owners and staff were so helpful. They made sure that we had parking and we very kind and friendly. WIFI was very stable and worked well.
Review 15:Villa Cleclia is absolutely amazing. It is conveniently located close to the beach, train station, great restaurants, shops and the hiking trail to Monterosso. Nicola, the owner is the best. He easily wins us over with his warmth and friendliness. Levanto is a great town with great beaches and a wonderful vibe. It is not over run by tourists like the 5 main towns and you can see locals going about their way of lives. We look forward to going back to Levanto and when we do, we will definitely be back at Nicola's wonderful bed and breakfast again.
Review 16:The owners are fantastic from picking up at train station, answering questions to dropping us off at the train station when we left. Bikes are offered to borrow but usually already used. Wifi was good and AC was much needed. We hope to see you again
Review 17:Thin walls
Review 18:Ideal starting point to discover 5 terre: away from the crowd with easy access to train/boat. Manager is really nice and helpful : free space for the car, maps of the area, etc... Enjoyed our stay, thanks again
Review 19:The wifi is kind of weak .
Review 20:The villa is in levanto, a small town just one train stop before the cinque terre village , but more quite and peaceful. It's very beautiful with a garden terrace in front of the room . The host is super nice , he helped us with our suitcase to the train station so we don't need to carry it for walk . And they offer free bicycle. Riding a bicycle in such a nice town is so relax , away from the crowds , definitely the type of leisure we r looking for. Facility is good also , room is very clean and tidy. Absolutely value of money .
Review 21:The Internet wasn't great at times but we were too busy out exploring to need it much anyway!
Review 22:Everything was wonderful from the lovely staff, to the amazing location and the cute town! It was a cozy and relaxing stay! 10/10
Review 23:The owners were great, picked us up from the train station when we arrived, gave lots of information and we were there for Xmas and they gave us a lovely bottle of wine. There were free bikes to use and Levanto is a good place to ride
Review 24:The room is VERY small and not a lot of space for suitcases. We stayed only one night but more thant that and you would struggle.
Review 25:Very central in village with free coffee on tap and very helpful owner.
Review 26:We loved everything.
Review 27:The location was wonderful. We parked our car and never moved it till we left. It was easy to walk to the beach and the water taxi and also a nice walk to the train station. Levanto has everything you would need cute shops, great restaurants and a nice beach.
Review 28:It was most unfortunate that our week was during an extremely wet time, so we had to spend time indoors. The rooms are fine if you can be outdoors, but when confined indoors, some rooms are a bit small for sitting around
Review 29:Excellent position in the town. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and they had uptodate information on the Cinque Terra trails, could sell tickets for it.
Review 30:Everything was fine.
Review 31:Nicola the host picked us up at the Railway Station at 9.30pm after we informed him of train delays. He also arranged for his father to take us to the Railway Station on our departure. We had access to bikes and enjoyed riding the quiet street of Levanto while the locals abandoned them for a mid afternoon snooze. The beach was only a stones throw away. The sea very safe and warm. Levanto is a superb little Italian town, not overflowing with tourists loke the nearby Cinque Terre region.
Review 32:Bathroom tiny and had a very loud fan, which turned on with the light. Left light off sometimesas noise was intrusive!
Review 33:Ambience of this B & B was lovely - rooms off a courtyard gave it a friendly feel. At the end of a long day of walking, it was really nice to relax with a drink at the table & chairs on the patio.
Review 34:Cool,shady,peaceful courtyard for eating breakfast or drinks. Close to everything. Free use of bicycles to ride along paths and bikeways. Hosts were helpful and friendly.
Review 35:Our room had a nice balcony overlooking a courtyard. There was a refrigerator in the room that was stocked each day with yogurt, orange juice and butter. Fresh rolls were delivered to our room each morning. There was a water kettle in the room and coffee and tea. There was also coffee machine in the courtyard. The hotel was walking distance to the train station. Cinque Terre is a short train ride from Levanto.
Review 36:Rough entry-passage to upstairs rooms. Had a minor problem with the refrigerator but our host fixed the problem very quickly
Review 37:Location. Breakfast provided. Upstairs room. Balcony. Our host could do enough for us even with our lack of spoken Italian.
Review 38:Typical of all beds we have slept in while traveling in Italy and Germany, the bed mattress was very firm. I wish the mattress were softer. A memory-foam mattress topper would make a world of difference.
Review 39:It is conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants, wine shops, a small market/deli, gelato shop and two self-serve Laundromats. It is a 15 minute walk to the train station and a seven minute walk to the beach and to the pier to take the tour boats. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our room. It was very clean and had a nice patio to relax (we had the deluxe room, it seemed like all the other rooms had a small balcony). At check-in the owner leant us a parking pass that allowed us to park in the parking lot in front of the motel for free. It was fantastic. At night, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
Review 40:Walls are a bit thin and if you are in a ground floor room you can hear a lot of noise from apartment above.
Review 41:Lovely staff - couldn't do enough to help. Great location. Firm but comfortable bed.
Review 42:We got the smallest room( it was the last one when we booked, but we were aware of that) and there wasn't enough space not even to open a suitcase
Review 43:Perfect location in the center of the picturesc Levanto, and excellent for the Cinque Terre trip. The owner was very nice and helpful! Very clean bathroom!
Review 44:Great place
Review 45:Great location very close to centre, many restaurants, shops and the beach at walking distance. It's simple, a bed, a shower and a terrace, which has a lot of charm. Great sitting outside, if weather allows
Review 46:Wifi reception is only fair
Review 47:Private and quiet accommodation considering Villa Clelia is steps away from the Piazza and the beach. The location for us was perfect. Room is basic but has all that you need. The staff (family run business) are very friendly and helpful.
Review 48:The location was just perfect. Nicola and his family were lovely hosts and even collected us from the train station on our arrival. They provided us with all the information about Cinque Terra and even had passes for us to purchase. We loved having a little vino in our terrace area at night, a perfect way to unwind after a long day of walking. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Review 49:The staff here are so friendly and accommodating! We did the Cinque Terre while we were there and the staff were so kind enough to give us all the information and passes that we needed. The transport to and from the train station was also very much appreciated. The breakfast was also very nice.

Review 54:The location was wonderful.. In the middle of the town and a short walk to a lovely beach! They had bikes and beach chairs to borrow. The owners were gracious and drove us to and from the train station!

Review 56:very clean, comfortable and cozy room; private yard; free Wi-Fi; automatic coffee maker; free bicycles; hotel owner; location.
