Set in the medieval village of Lavaggiorosso, Agriturismo Il Frantoio is 1.9 miles from the coastal town of Levanto. It offers rustic apartments with slate ceilings, terracotta floors and views of the countryside.
Il Frantoio is a working farm that produces its own olive oil, wine, fruit and eggs. These are all available to buy. Breakfast is buffet style, while the restaurant serves traditional dishes from the Liguria region. During summer, meals can be enjoyed out on the terrace.
Each apartment has a comfortable living room with either a kitchen or kitchenette. They all feature a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
Free parking is provided and a public bus takes to into Levanto. Here you can enjoy the beaches or take a boat along the coast to Portofino and Portovenere. Trains for the Cinque Terre leave from Levanto Train Station.

Review 1：The owner is very rude and all is disorganised and I am suprised she isin the Hotel Industry. In fact, when we arrived in the village,villagers gave us very bad comments on her which happened to be true asper our experience.
Review 2：Nothing ! We only found out of the bad reviews after we left the hotel.
Review 3：Rude staff, slamming doors at 6 am. Asking if we are ready to leave at 8 am. The breakfast was a joke, it contained 5 slices of salami and literally stone hard bread, and a coffee served in a plastic glass. Everything was dusty, the plates in the apartment were dirty. The heat was almost unbearable. One of the rooms was so smelly that we had to sleep in the other.

Review 5：No value for too much money. We were so looking forward to arrive in a romantic setting located in silence and surrounded by green and a simple standard apartment. Well, the host was from the first minute very unwelcoming, shouting at us every time we met at reception or else, no smile or warm word, no questions how we like it, nothing only money money money. The room we got was very basic which is fine but it was freezing cold in there. No heater otherwise we would need to pay very much money as we were told. Spider nets were spread throughout the place, dust and reserve linen full of big dark stains. The breakfast is a catastrophe: very very small with only dry bread, nothing self-made in contrary to what we had read in the comment apart from a totally black burnt kind of dry cake -we thought it's a joke but they served it every morning the same piece of black burnt cake, to drink there wasn't as you would wish just a normal coffee at least, no only surprisingly disgusting bitter water "coffee". The milk is the only thing you can drink or a tea. The other cake was bought in a super market and put in an oven form to make it appear as if it was home-made. Taste was chemical and therefore also a no go. We and the other guests we met were all scared of the host lady, because she makes you feel very uncomfortable, spreading stress, no single smile ever but shouting all time, being stressed and not able to handle simple things. It's a real pitty! The lady even tried to make us pay more, thanks God we had printed out all confirmations. Still no excuses or thanks or anything. We will for sure never go back to this very unpleasant place again!

Review 16：The location is unbelievable. It is a small village, in the middle of mountains covered with green trees. One breath in the terrace of the room is priceless. The dinner and the breakfast was magnificent. They produce their own pasta, wine, cheese and salami, which were all super delicious. Breakfast was included in the stay and we only paid 22.5 per person for dinner including wine.
Review 17：The place was hard to find, there was no one on site when we arrived at 4:45pm , 5:30pm staff arrived and it seemed that we were an inconvenience to them. The car park was a long way down a very steep hill, the room including floors , shower and toilet would have been the most dirtiest accommodation in all our travels.
