Reviews for Park Hotel Argento

Review 1:They should put drinking water into the wellness area. You can make yourself a tea, but not everyone likes to drink tea :) It is only a suggestion! :)

Review 2:Amazing hotel in a beautiful place! Loved the nature, flowers, room, restaurant, outdoor pool, wellness...fantastic & helpful staff! The minibus service is brilliant! Nice food, clean room & hotel. After when we checked out, they took us down by the minibus to the seaside, had a lovely day, they came to pick us up, they let us use the wellness area and even we could have a shower before travelled back home.Thank you so much! Had a fantastic time there! Lovely memories. :)

Review 3:Very minor things, shower in the bathroom could be better

Review 4:Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very nice place to stay for visiting the area and enjoy a peaceful relax.

Review 5:A little bit out of town, but a pleasant walk to get there, uphill to get back - unless you use the free shuttle.

Review 6:Large room with view over the valley. Walking distance from train station to Cinque Terre villages. Very friendly & helpful staff. Good parking area. Good restaurant for breakfast & supper.

Review 7:Because of its location in such a popular destination without lots of hotel options, this property is priced like a 5 star hotel and feels more like a 3.5/4 star. But you have to pay more for less in a place like Cinque Terre.

Review 8:Very convenient to the train station for a quick ride to any of the cinque terre towns. And while a little bit further, still walkable to town for dinner. Very nice pool and spa. Good bar and service. Excellent breakfast.

Review 9:My girlfriend and me had a great time in Park Hotel Argento. The place is fantastic. City center is not too far (downhill). To go back to the hotel is a bit harder (uphill) but not too much if you take your time. Staff are very friendly. Breaskfast have many choices :-)

Review 10:The food was only mediocre. That's unusual for Italy!

Review 11:The location was great and the staff was terrific, especially our friend Giuseppe! Their shuttle made it very easy to go down to town and to the trains to the cinque terre. Their recommendations for restaurants were excellent.

Review 12:The staff was excellent, the food was superb, the location was very convenient, and the Massage and Wellness Center was a huge bonus to what I'd already consider a 5 star experience. Thank you to the entire staff!!

Review 13:Nothing

Review 14:A fantastic option in Levanto if you want to spoil yourselves. All of the facilities are high quality, including the wellness centre. Staff are very helpful, with full-information on the walking in the area, and free transfers to and from the centre of town (which is only a short walk - but up a steep hill). We didn't eat in the onsite restaurant for dinner, electing to try the local eateries in town. Levanto itself is lovely, and worth time exploring

Review 15:Not in love with the food.

Review 16:The operators were fabulous. They amazingly drive you back and forth to town any time you wished. The wellness spa was heavenly.

Review 17:Leaving !

Review 18:Everything. The staff are great. The availability of being transported to & from Levanto, when needed. The breakfast, is by far the best & largest choice I have ever seen. Our room (544) with a large balcony, was amazing

Review 19:Having to leave!

Review 20:Every aspect of the hotel, staff, facilities, food - breakfast and dinner, lovely spacious room, excellent free wifi, lovely swimming pool and the free shuttle transfer provided by the hotel - just for the asking. A great service. Handy for the train station - a path takes you down. Levanto Train station makes it easy to access the five villages of Cinque Terre and Portofino.

Review 21:The shuttle service is great. Breakfast was ample and very good, and it was great to sit outside to enjoy it. Room was large, pool was nice, flowers were beautiful. All in all a perfect stay and great location for visiting the Cinque Terre.

Review 22:The hotel was extremely expensive for what it offered... Rooms weren't overly deluxe and bathroom/shower was cheap. Could barely use the soap without knocking both my elbows on opposite sides of the shower wall.

Review 23:Helpful staff

Review 24:Nothing.

Review 25:Loved the location, not right in the middle of everything. Beautiful location, shuttle to the town. Great breakfast selection. Amazing coffee !!

Review 26:We absolutely LOVED our stay here and all kudos to exquisite customer service. We usually don't go back to the places we visit but this one is a winner.

Review 27:The entire package is exceptional, faultless, unforgettable. The staff are competent and not over fussy, complimenting the subtle magic of the Hotel.

Review 28:No bad experience. The location is a bit out of the way, but that affords quiet enjoyment.

Review 29:The staff was wonderful, welcoming and accommodating in every respect. Breakfasts were lavish.

Review 30:Excellent front of house staff/management. Very good first welcome to the hotel and departure. Perfect level of guest engagement between formal/informal. Good Cinque Terre recommendations

Review 31:Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Van rides to town and back on timely basis supplied for those without a car as the property is a long steep hike from the town which it overlooks. The views are very nice.

Review 32:Free but slow internet, breakfast offers a wide variety of food but also several not fresh but pre packed. Avoid the room under the restaurant, it can be noisy.

Review 33:Nice attentive and flexible staff, attractive pool with beautifull view, free shuttle service to the village. Good restaurant with every day different local specialities. Problems are quickly and with a smile being solved. Nice location.

Review 34:All was great

Review 35:Great hotel with very nuce atmosphere, stylish interior, lots of towels ( as a sign of generosity), very open owners and great kitchen:))))

Review 36:A bit overpriced for facilities offered

Review 37:Convenient location to visit Cinque Terre, nice rooms, decent breakfast, impeccable staff, quiet place with beatifull views

Review 38:It is a longer walk than described to town

Review 39:AIR CONDitioning was the highlight Overall it was a great place we didn't eat meals there other than breakfast And didn't think it looked too great

Review 40:The staff were amazing and so helpful! Shuttle bus available until 11pm and they drive and pick you up from all over Levanto. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Review 41:The walk up from town is not far but there is one particullar bit up to the church which is quite steep. The hotel do run a shuttle at cost as an alternative.

Review 42:The huge room was the best we could expect, it was a better grade than standard and lovely. The balcony over looking the town was worth it. Very helpful and nice staff. Lots of information provided to help plan our stay and day trips. Food and wine was good at dinner and breakfast in particular. However they were very free with hints for dinner in town, Osteria Tumelin is fabulous but get the hotel to book for you. Lavento is a great town, not as pretty as some but still nice and full of life.

Review 43:The staff are really helpful and they operate a shuttle service to the town which is really good. You get a nice view of the mountains from the pool and it was never crowded. We were sad to leave and go on to our next destination as this was a nice relaxing break.

Review 44:The bathroom is spacious but shower very small can't quite work out why they didn't make it bigger.

Review 45:Very comfortable hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed. Warm welcome by reception, we were given a map and information on trains and ferries and advice on walks and restaurants and town attractions. The breakfast was amazing,. We travel a lot and we rate this breakfast as the best, we like our muesli and healthy food options, this hotel really went overboard giving us gojis, pepitas, sesame seeds, cranberries, flaxseeds, crushed nuts, massive range of fruits fresh and dried. Health juices etc. don't worry if your not into this there is plenty of other options eggs, breads, cakes, meats and cheeses. Lovely big swimming pool was a treat after a day walking in the heat. Courier there to meet you at the station and basically drive you where ever you wanted to go although we preferred the short walk in and out of town in the evening. Train is very close using a shortcut for pedestrian access.

Review 46:When we arrived we had a ground floor but the staff sorted it and we were moved - Well Done

Review 47:Overall it was great and when we had an issue the staff and management went out of their way to rectify it for us. Overall Brilliant

Review 48:The hotel restaurant has great food both breakfast and dinner. The rooms and the view are very nice. The owners and all their staff really went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect. We faced a one day train strike and the owners helped us work out alternate transportation. Fabulous service.

Review 49:This is a truly wonderful hotel to stay in that overlooks the mountain tops. Run by lovely staff who can't help you enough. Our room was very modern and clean with a stunning huge balcony with views. We were offered an upgrade for our 3 night stay on arrival which was really nice. They offer the most amazing full buffet breakfast which has everything you can think of!! A great selection of organic products too. The shuttle service is brilliant and very efficient. This has to be the best hotel in Levanto! Next time we'll be staying longer!

Review 50:This hotel was terrific. A little off the beaten path. But the staff will bring you into town and pick you up in (Levanto). If you have a car there is parking at the hotel. My husband and I preferred to walk- easy 15 min walk to town/train station. The staff was extremely friendly and made great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Lovely terrace where you can eat breakfast with beautiful.

Review 51:Staff were friendly. Location is great for the train station only a 10min walk. The location is a little bit far from the town but the staff will happily drop you at the station or in town and come and pick you up you just need to give them a call. Plenty of free onsite parking which we found hard to find in cinque hotels

Review 52:None.

Review 53:Modern building, spacious room, beautiful gardening, good &rich Breakfast and Dinner and above all warm and very helpful staff. A quite, peaceful place with full ability to explore Cinque-terra in all ways.

Review 54:Our AC was not working in the room and there was not one available to fix it. There was also not another room available to move to. Massages do not begin each day until 3:00pm. We could have enjoyed on if they had been available in the morning.

Review 55:The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from tow and the train station. The view was beautiful.

Review 56:Although I have left the 'don't disturb' sign on the door, the cleaning staff still entered the room but did not made the bed properly, only half a job and threw a tissue box on the table and my pj's on a sofa. It looked very weird, definitely not what you expect after the room has been cleaned. My main problem was the fact that my request not to make the room was ignored. The walk to the train station is not pleasant nor short. Better to take the same road as going to the city centre and turn left after the stairs. Long walk into the city centre, was fine for me but could be demanding as there are many steep stairs to climb.

Review 57:Nice pool, beautiful room with a view, good food but too expensive. Helpful staff ( to a certain extent ). A lot of attention was given to details, beautiful place to stay in. The wellness area looked amazing.

Review 58:Absolutely stunning hotel with all the right facilities i really liked the shuttle bus that dropped us and picked us up wherever we had to go but I must say what made this hotel so out standing was the increadibly helpful staff! Highly recommended!!

Review 59:After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence this was a truely relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and helped us with our tours and train tickets. At the end of the day it was great to relax in the sauna and the showers. Breakfast was brilliant so much to choose from, wish we could have stayed longer.

Review 60:The reception we received was exceptional. Friendly and very informative..the staff could not have offered or provided a better service with a smile.

Review 61:Walk to train and town was down very steep hill and takes 20 mins. Return walk back up hill to hotel is strenuous hike.

Review 62:Clean hotel with great staff and nice views of town in valley from balcony.

Review 63:The owners and staff were great. We were given a warm welcome and for anything we needed during our stay they were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Review 64:Staff was very helpful and went out of the way to make it an excellent stay. They have a free shuttle to transport you back and forth to town. Great stay.

Review 65:This is a good base for exploring Cinque Terre, especially if you are travelling by car. The staff and facilities are excellent. The train station and village are within walking distance and ther is also a free shuttle service provided by the hotel. Rooms are large and clean and there is a health spa to relax at the end of the day after hiking and exploring Cinque Terre

Review 66:I wish I had more time to stay there.

Review 67:From the minute we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful balcony that we enjoyed relaxing on. We watched the trains come and go. We slept with the balcony door open and the noise did not bother us. The bed was very comfortable. They even helped make reservations at the pesto making store.

Review 68:Noisy bedroom... The neighboor upstair was very noisy all nights and days... :-( We eared almost everything (switch, hair dryer, flush, etc.).The building soundproofing could be improved...

Review 69:Very good hotel. Excellent service level, people are very nice. Well done guys, keep it up! ;-))

Review 70:Dear fellow travelers, Book this hotel if you are visiting Cinque Terre. Superbly connected to the train station, only 5 mins walk! If you feel lazy, the hotel offers free (yea FREE) shuttle service. Clean, quite and very friendly honest staff!

Review 71:Absolutely everything. The hotel was in a great location, the staff could not be more helpful & the free shuttle service from the hotel was a huge relief after hiking the Cinque Terre for the day.

Review 72:Shower was on the small side. We also left the do not disturb sign up because we didn't need anything cleaned, but they came in anyway.

Review 73:Room was spacious and clean. All the staff were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and one night we had dinner at the restaurant there as well and it was superb!

Review 74:Proximity to local train with easy access to Cinque Terre; setting of hotel on the hillside with plenty of parking and special views; excellent facilities and spacious room and bathroom; nice restaurant to finish the day.

Review 75:Almost nothing. Some little problems with the wi fi as well as with the fridge which, by conception mistake likely, does not work when noboy is in the room, are simply excuse to fill this part.

Review 76:Almost everything including the kind and efficient availability of all the staff. Food is good. Rooms are big, clean and confortable as well as well equipped. Spa and swimmingpool complete this great pictures.

Review 77:The staff were helpful and very friendly. the room was enormous and comfortable. We enjoyed the meals, the town and the whole region and especially the wellness centre in the hotel. A unique and very pleasurable treat.

Review 78:GPS might not direct you correctly, so be aware and follow the signs on the roads.

Review 79:Excellent and very friendly staff! Near the train station - so very easy to reach Cinque Terre, while a little bit far from Levant centre, but still a pleasant walk.

Review 80:Outside of Levanto, our GPS led us astray. If you follow the road into town, you will find your way. But avoid any directions that take you down abandoned country paths.

Review 81:The hotel was an unexpected pleasure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The Turkish bath was a treat especially after walking around the area. We were especially pleased with how easy it was to take the train to access Cinque Terre. The food was excellent with a changing menu everyday.

Review 82:Professionalism and helpfulness of all staff and management was of an impeccable standard. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with a genuine desire to accomodate.

Review 83:Pool was a bit chilly

Review 84:Loved the friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast and lovely room with a balcony. Ideal location for exploring Cinque terre, close to the station.

Review 85:Not a thing

Review 86:We just returned from this hotel, and are dying to go back! It is a beautiful 4 star hotel situated on a hill slightly above the town but an easy 10 min walk down to the town center and the beach. Everything about it was perfect from the professional and friendly reception team (who fluently speak 4 languages) to the first class dining service. The spa area is wonderful and the outdoor pool and deck look out over the hills. Our room was quite large and extremely clean. Robes, slippers and towels were super comfy. The breakfast was extraordinary with both outdoor patio or indoor seating. Everything about this place is polished and lovely. Such an incredible deal at this price. The staff go far above to help you with everything from managing train strike transportation to booking to local excursions. Everything was excellent.

Review 87:Nothing. Wish we could've stayed longer

Review 88:Ample free car parking (perfect for our hire car) Friendly staff Free shuttle bus service so you can leave the car at the hotel and explore the Cinque Terre by train and foot. Very large rooms Quiet location

Review 89:Staff were not very service oriented wnen compared to many of the other hotels we stayed at during our 3 week vacation. I also didn't like that you could hear the restaurant across the courtyard.

Review 90:The rooms have been significantly upgraded.

Review 91:A mirror over the dresser table in the bedroom would be the only piece of feedback we could provide for making improvements!

Review 92:The staff made our stay very enjoyable, taking care of our every need, with one member of staff even giving us a loan of his own small back pack which we had forgotten to include in our luggage. Although the hotel was a small distance from the town it was uphill, and the hotel staff offered complimentary lifts in an out of Levanto and this was never any trouble. We also really enjoyed the pool and the lovely views from there. Our bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious. We would look forward to returning soon.

Review 93:Absolutely nothing!!!

Review 94:Loved everything! Staff was very accommodating and helpful! Nothing was too much to ask! Breakfast selection was abundant and very tasty. Wellness center was relaxing and soothing...loved the Turkish Bath!

Review 95:Everything, an excellent stay, all staff friendly, reception staff were exceptional going out of their way to assist. A very clean well presented hotel. Breakfast and restaurant food exceptional. A quiet hotel close to the Terri

Review 96:This hotel was perfect for a family trip with our adult children. The welcome by the owners and their personal involvement to ensure our comfort was a huge plus. The same can be said for their knowledge of the area and of its wonderful hikes.

Review 97:Park Hotel Argento offers an amazing vacation stay with wonderful food and super service. Their employees took a personal interest in my vacation (They helped with our itinerary.). I ate delicious foods which were beautifully displayed and served with a cheerful smile. It was a relief to have a tasty and nutricious breakfast every morning. Everything is very clean, orderly, and pretty. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 98:If you are in a room under the restaurant, expect noise, resembling galloping horses on a hippodrome. If by any reason your door entry card becomes void (it also plays the role of a main switch), you will have a total blackout and disabled aircon. During breakfast nobody appeared to clean the tables and remove the used plates

Review 99:Beautiful hotel with panoramic view across the valley. Facilities are well-thought and aimed at guest convenience. Very polite and helpful owners and staff.

Review 100:maybe a little minus: for that price we would have liked a bath instead of the small shower we had now

Review 101:location is beautiful, staff is very kind and helpfull, large room, nice wellness and pool, very good diner, breakfast :great choice

Review 102:The hotel was located in the middle of hill so it is not easy to walk to the city center though they offer a hotel shuttle.

Review 103:The room was clean and spacious. Fast WIFI was also convenient. The hotel was a perfect place to take a rest.

Review 104:Nothing. It was awesome.

Review 105:This hotel was wonderful. The hotel staff, especially Herve and Giuseppe were wonderful and helpful. They could not do enough for their guests. The hotel is gorgeous, clean, tranquil, and had beautiful views. It was great to be outside of the town but close enough where you could be there in less than 5 minutes. The hotel offered breakfast which was awesome. I loved everything about this hotel!

Review 106:The free shuttle service was a blessing. Whenever we needed picked up it delivered somewhere, they came to help. Even after checkout, they kept our luggage and let us use facilities to get ready for our long train ride.

Review 107:Nothing. It is perfect. Will definitely go back...

Review 108:Staff was exceptionally warm and attentive. Room was absolutely beautiful, new, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Great view and the best WiFi coverage of any hotel that we experienced. Breakfast was the biggest, broadest, most delicious that I have experienced anywhere.

Review 109:The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent particularly as you could sleep late and have a late breakfast! Location to the railway station was excellent! View from the hotel was stunning!

Review 110:Nothing not to like about this hotel.

Review 111:The staff was amazing. As other reviews mentioned, you will need to either walk 15-20 minutes or take a free shuttle to the city center. The hotel staff was always very responsive to our requests for a shuttle and went out of their way to assist us in every way possible. Breakfast had something for everyone. We highly preferred staying in Levanto to explore the Cinque Terre and surrounding areas. It was a nice way to relax after a day spent in the crazy crowds found in the 5 villages.

Review 112:I was very glad we were not in Cinque Terre and stayed outside in Levanto. It was quieter, beautiful view from the hilltop and easy access to the train to Cinque Terre.

Review 113:Really nothing to criticise. The hotel is on the hill above Levanto with a nice outlook and the walk to the rail station to access the Cinq Terre villages is only 10 minutes walk down hill, although the hotel does provide a free shuttle down to the station and town which we used to get back from the town a couple of times. We we re initially confused as the room had a leaflet suggesting the shuttle was 10 euros which would have been too steep, and unacceptable and changed my view on the place , p but seems they were just advertising a taxi service or have changed their policy. Otherwise they need to move the shower head sliding rail over the bath towards the wall end of the bath as while it has the longest folding shower screen along the edge of the bath that I have ever seen, inevitably some water splashes on to the floor, which is not a problem but must drive the housekeeper mad. Italian plumber needs to be re-bored!

Review 114:Spacious room , very comfortable god bathroom. Nice outdoor terrace, great pool, excellent restaurant which had a limited four item main and entree selection but which changed every day and we always found an acceptable choice. House wine was very good and good value. Enjoyed four days and it proved to be a great location from which to visit the Cinq Terre.only buy a CT card for one day as only one stretch of path is open and it is cheaper to just buy rail tickets but buy then at Levanto as it is quieter than the queues at other CT village stations. Watch out for pick pockets whilst getting on the trains particularly at Maranola

Review 115:We were greeted warmly when we arrived. The breakfast selection and service was excellent. After a long day of exploring the nearby villages the pool and spa were very refreshing.

Review 116:Great location for cinque terre daily tours! Wonderful accomodations and one of the best breakfast variety we've seen!

Review 117:The room is very simple

Review 118:Great location, less than 10 min walk to the Train station, modern spa A free shuttle to the center, good breakfast
