Review 1：Be sure to book a room with garden view, and also lake view, as the room we were first shown to just had a view of the carpark at the rear.
Review 2：Monikas fronts onto the lakeside. The lake takes about 2 hours to walk around and it is an absolute pleasure. Plenty of places to stop, admire the view, and have a very reasonable meal and drinks. We spent an afternoon, reclined in the front garden watching all the activities on and around the lake, including jogging, cycling, rowing, sailing, to name a few.lots of old buildings and a lovely atmosphere.
Review 3：At the end of September, it was very cold in the room, as the heating wasn't yet on.
Review 4：Located near a beautiful lake, with an amazing garden and very warm hosts, it's a very good choice for summer holidays. It's also much quieter than the small hotels nearby, that draw a completely other kind of guests (the partying kind).
Review 5：The room was on second floor - too many steps for my husband as he has a disability. Also we had no balcony.

Review 9：The TV was a bit iffy but it didn't matter as we spent our time enjoying the lakeside walks and the Turkish Festival.
Review 10：We enjoyed our room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The breakfast was excellent with selection from a menu of freshly cooked breakfast, 'ham and eggs' included 3 delicious farm fresh eggs. We were made really welcome despite the staff not speaking much English and we not speaking Hungarian or German.
Review 11：some of the staff smoke, the smell of smoking sometimes drifted through to the dining room from what is behind the reception desk (kitchen? which makes it even worse IMO). also, the furnishing could do with an upgrade. old, dated looking furniture (comfy nevertheless, but still). had to ask for the shower hose to be replaced as was broken. one of the bedside lights didn't work.
