Reviews for Hotel Goldene Rose
Review 1:The layout of the property is a bit disjointed. Most direct way to the lobby from our room was through the restaurant.
Review 2:Good location with easy access to the town. Good breakfast buffet. Quiet location with great views. Nice patio off our first floor room with table and chairs.
Review 3:No AC, so had to sleep with the windows open and it was a bit noisy, but after a few hours it was really quiet.
Review 4:Room was excellent! Good sized shower, clean, great breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome location for seeing the castles!
Review 5:They gave us tourist passes which gave us discounts and access to a ton of places around the area! We loved i . The taxi service which would take you anywhere for 2 euros was especially awesome.
Review 6:No E - Bikes for rent offered, though the Location is perfect as a base for bike excursions
Review 7:Recception, staff and management - including the charming Owner ( Lady ) are friendly, helpful and ready to out of make the stay a nice experience . Good Restaurant in - house annother Advantage.
Review 8:The wifi in our room didn't work we had to step into the hallway. Mattresses alway scooched apart from eachother and left a gap in the middle. Laying next to eachother was almost impossible
Review 9:Hotel facilities No fridge and no air condition. In case of hot weather those mentioned facilities should be available.
Review 10:Location The location of this hotel is perfectly because it's easy to reach Fuessen, Garmisch Partenkirchen and also Innsbruck less then 50 to 80 km.
Review 11:Quite often it was impossible to connect to WiFi cause it was too many users online. There's no fridge inside of the room, but that isn't a problem during cold season, cause you can use a balcony.
Review 12:All was very nice and we loved a lot our stay at this hotel. Sauna is really wonderful. Food perfect.
Review 13:When we arrived at the hotel, we were so thirsty and asked for 2 cups of hot water (used for tea). The Philipine reception charged us 3 Euros for only 2 cups of hot water (330ml for each). Unbelievable! We never met service like that. We will never recommend and stay in the hotel again. Worstest!
Review 14:Staff was not helpful at all spec. Blonde lady ?miletta be reutter (refuse to give her name)in reception when I told my wife asthmatic and smell of smoke invading my room she didn't do anything while Manuela in resturant close the main door and solve problem partially thanks for her kindness
Review 15:Location
Review 16:When you set the GPS, you should set to Lechaschau, not Reutte. The info on booking is wrong, it took us some time to find the hotel. But it is worth it anyway.
Review 17:Very good 3 star hotel, beyond expectation. The manager of hotel is very kind. The room is very big and decoration is new. A small market across the bridge. A Chinese restaurant "上海楼" in the Reutte town by 7 minutes driving. The town is very cute. Very recommend. Just to remind, the hotel is in Austria, not in Germany.
Review 18:The restaurant was closed on the Sunday evening and we felt uncomfortable letting ourselves in with a key at the front door when everything was in darkness.
Review 19:We had a spacious room which overlooked the garden and was on the ground floor. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, although Sunday's breakfast was a bit D.I.Y.
Review 20:Limited amenities and size of the room, not all staff friendly
Review 21:Booking.com flaw, let me book the hotel after check-in time, so I came at night stumbled at the doors locked, chilly outside and no one there. Luckily, a call dicovered the owner inside watching late night football, he grumbled but let me in. Solid inside amenities, good value, large upscale restaurant
Review 22:Smoking allowed inside the bar/restaurant? Who still allows that?
Review 23:Good staff, comfortable room, modern bathroom, parking area appears to have been fixed (but no covered parking options were offered for motorcycles), functional wifi, centre of Reutte is a short walk across the bridge to the East.
Review 24:Breakfast was a little less what I'd expect after an excellent dinner the day before - but that's just picking.
Review 25:Very nice, well maintained hotel. Rooms are nicely furnished and clean. Excellent restaurant on site. Free parking.
Review 26:Wifi was frustratingly intermittment. Signal drops and constant requests to login again. Free but poor.
Review 27:Friendly, efficient staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good showers, easy parking and extensive choice at breakfast.
Review 28:The staff in the restaurant were rude and often very surly, clearly not at all happy working there. Also, the chef and kitchen staff were often outside smoking in their whites.... Far from ideal.
Review 29:Best service, very nice hotel!
Review 30:Breakfast was very good and larger room for 3 adults
Review 31:Price somewhat on higher side.
Review 32:Good place to stay in a fabulous part of country. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located.
Review 33:A great location, helpful and friendly staff, lovely room and a fantastic breakfast spread.
Review 34:Nothing
Review 35:Nice Austian hotel with lovely wooden features. Ate at the restaurant and the food was lovely. 2 minutes walk from supermarket.
Review 36:Location isn't bad if you're planning on visiting this part of Austria in nice weather. Pretty nearby lake and castles
Review 37:Nothing, all fine.
Review 38:Quiet, but central location. Heaps of opportunities for hikes and excursions.
Review 39:Very nice neat accommodation, large and comfortable bathroom, very nice and helpful personal :)
Review 40:The shower is AMAZING, and the view…
Review 41:Very nice hotel, with great restaurant and fantastic view
Review 42:Our room was a little dated
Review 43:Good location and food
Review 44:Hotel room was large and clean, breakfast was very good.
Review 45:The magnificent decor of the dining room
Review 46:Everything
Review 47:Everything was first rate- from the staff to the room and spa.
Review 48:Very friendly Staff, good restaurant, excellent rooms and facilities, great views !
Review 49:Near several castles and small unique villages. Great breakfast.
Review 50:clean room nice breakfast
Review 51:The staff and management went out of their way to ensure we were happy with all the arrangements.
Review 52:Nothing all good
Review 53:All of it
Review 54:Parking was a bit tight - we had motorcycles and were not comfortable with the option of parking across the street, but eventually found a spot in the main lot. Our rooms were near the lobby so the noise from the lounge was a bit loud. Finally, the Wifi in our rooms was absolutely horrible (and for us, Wifi was extremely important).
Review 55:The hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had GREAT rates so the value was EXCELLENT.
Review 56:Close to Neuschwanstein, large room with good amount of storage (comfort double room), clean, quiet, beautiful views, in-room refrigerator, free parking
Review 57:Bed wasn't too comfortable. The actual town where the hotel is, isn't great as there isn't lots to do. To access sauna/relax area, have to walk through restaurant next to tables.
Review 58:Staff friendliness. Very clean. Good food. Big room. Nature & surroundings is great. Nice small sauna/relax area.
Review 59:Not the hotel's fault, but the heavy traffic(both the local people and the tourists) in the high season, whole day even in the heart of the villgage.
Review 60:Beautiful mountain view from the room. Good old village hospitality.
Review 61:We had great weather and it would have been very pleasant to sit outside for breakfast, even if it were just the two tables out the back set up.
Review 62:Wonderful location for visiting Schloss Neuschwanstein and Linderhof (both within 20 and 30 minute drive away) and still being "away from it all". Perfect setting (mountain views from our balcony were amazing), spacious room with great beds, large bathroom, all near-new and immaculately clean. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was fresh and plentiful. We had dinner two nights in the garden restaurant-delicious and good value for money. All round a very pleasant experience-we could well imagine coming back for a winter holiday.
Review 63:Not a big deal but the free wifi never worked, and it appeared to be limited for a few hours only (although we could never know for sure because it never worked).
Review 64:Nice big room and bathroom with view of the mountains.
Review 65:The Hotel Golden Rose greatly exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made a genuine effort to make us feel like we were at home. Our room and the room of our friends were very clean and comfortable. The Hotel has its own restaurant where we enjoyed the delicious local cuisine. This was our first visit to Austria and The Hotel Golden Rose is a part of our treasured memories.
Review 66:Not a complaint- but it would be nice if we knew the names of the staff. a small name tab would be nice..
Review 67:Austria was incredibly beautiful, the weather very kind to us and TheGoldene Rose the icing on the cake! The breakfast was very good indeedand a great start to the day. Our room, number 21, was all we could wishfor - being comfortable and with great mountain views. The Staff wereall wonderful - friendly, efficient and helpful. The food in therestaurant was very good indeed - our only complaint was that thequantity was rather more than our appetites could sometimes cope with!!. All in all, we were very happy with our stay with you and hope to comeagain. Many thanks from the Rev'd Harry and Mrs.Minnie Hodgetts
Review 68:In most cases you can always rely on Austrian hotels for a high standardof accommodation, food and hospitality. This hotel continues thetradition.
Review 69:This is a very comfortable and charming place, in the nice small town ofReutte, in the austrian Tirol, close to ski areas with all the staffvery helpful and kind. We got a suite, and a single room for our son.The single was fine and the suite very large and modern, the food at therestaurant simple and good. The prices were all very reasonable. I wouldreccomend Golden Rose to anyone loving nature, ski, mountain or justwishing to make a break from the city chaos. I would only suggest to theowners putting in the rooms some written information in a language otherthan german for non-german speaking guests.
Review 70:Snow/ice was not cleared from main entrance - slippery ! Dinner qualitycould be better
Review 71:Great spa facility, good breakfast, welcoming staff, Tiroler Tanzabend
Review 72:Everything was grate.
Review 73:The room is big ,and the decoration is wooden which is my style, the environment is so quiet,I really like it.

Review 82:Racist staff, if you are not a German or Austrian then please be ready to experience some racist comments
Review 83:People were very friendly and helpful
Review 84:Very clean, friendly and charming
Review 85:The staff was really poor. You always felt like being in the way or unwanted. The restaurant interior was hideous.
Review 86:Great food. Staff was superb, good rooms, all in all a good hotel. We will come back.

Review 88:Staff very friendly
Review 89:From the hotel is quite easy to reach Germany in particular Fuessen and its castles. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
