Review 1：Wear and tear is evident on the property. Curtains were hanging off the hooks, sitting area would benefit from soft lighting, use of a vacuum cleaner would be useful-carpets downstairs required cleaning.

Review 2：there was an issue with the heating and hot water in our room. Staff responded poorly to the problem, front of house staff left a lot to be desired. After numerous calls to reception, finally asked to speak to a manager who did sort the problem out, at 10pm!

Review 4：on arrival mix up re lodge No 2 and No 4!!! People left no 2 as they were not satisfied with it. We were happy with it and enjoyed our stay.

Review 6：We found your foreign staff efficient but not as friendly as your Irish staff. We had to ask for towels twice. I was not happy as I had paid in full on the day of arrival. I was led to believe the hotel was in Kinsale town and self catering. Brought food with us but could not cook it. Carpets torn and very dirty as were the dining room seats

Review 10：As I have 3 under the age of 5 I requested check in between 3&4. I know this was not guaranteed but our house was not available until 5.15. Also, there are a number of steps from car park to the lodges so not at all suitable for buggies. The buggy access from houses to hotel was very rough and not well lit.

Review 11：Pool was great and warm most days. Lodge bedrooms and living area very spacious.

Review 12：kids club 10 euros per child is a bit expensive especially when you have 4. so could not avail of this. Kitchen area not suitable for a weeks stay . no grill , oven, hob, and no freezer box in fridge.

Review 14：condition of holiday lodge very shabby and self catering equipment less than basic only 2 sockets for 3 electrical appliances in kitchenette.. No outdoor amenity area for adults or children.

Review 16：the venue was out of date, in need of modernisation. outside area was overgrown, workers making noise all day. shower needed repair, had to wait 2 days until the maintenance man came. self catering facilities are VERY limited. property needed to get cleaned twice before we were prepared to stay there, hairs everywhere. not enough towels. compared to other lodges we have stayed in this was by far the worst value for money so far. shame as this was a good hotel 2 years ago. found previous guests food in the sofa and dirty linens.

Review 17：staff were apologetic and understanding. was expecting the manager to contact us, haven't heard from him yet....4 weeks since.

Review 18：The only discomfort was the position, very far from the city centre. You need to take a taxi or the bus shuttle to get there, but once there coming back is a nightmare. I almost lost my plane for this. Remember to always ask the reception to book a taxi that picks you up in the city centre. The taxi service doesn't work well. They say you 10 minutes and then after 30 nothing happens. Apart from this is fantastic!

Review 19：A full house with the price of a room. Three beds simply fantastic, soft, big, warm, super comfortable. Bathrooms very clean an stylish. The breakfast is one of the greatest in my life. The scenery from the hotel reception is unforgettable. Swimming pool and gym for free. Kinsale town is adorable. Kinsale Sharks Award even more. I'm looking forward to get back. Enjoy!

Review 20：When I pay for a double bed then I expect to have a double bed, not two single beds pushed together. An outside bin to service the lodges would be very useful as nappies can become smelly!!!

Review 21：We had two teenagers and a toddler with us. Everybody had their own space. Lovely leisure facilties.

Review 22：No linen change, no bin bags provided at start. Hotel room size bins for self catering house accommodating six people!! No kettle. No cooking facilities yet a dining table for six. No outdoor furniture. Receptionist very unfriendly and ignorant, just my luck I managed to get the same one on three occasions.

Review 24：It was advertised as self catering which I thought was very unfair a microwave does not constitute self catering. We had brought food with us which had to be discarded.it may have said in small print that stove was not available why not put it where it can be clearly seen. Self catering very important for us as do not want children always eating out on unsuitable food !!!!

Review 25：the bar and restaurant were very dissapointing , the Bar was dark and there was a stale smell in it , the whole area needed renovation and the beautilful outdoor area surrounding the bar and restaurant needed a good clean and paint. food was expensive and fair

Review 27：With little children who are picky eaters, I didn't like the fact we couldn't cook our own meals. The pool closes too early. We found two slogs in our room, and a cocoon of flies in one of the bathrooms.
