Reviews for Primavera

Review 1:Wifi was very unreliable - even in the public areas. Very disappointing. Tiny bathroom with nowhere to put personal items. No way to control air conditioning despite set of controls - could not change temperature or fan setting.

Review 2:Staff were helpful and very friendly. Free bikes for loan was great in this location. Good breakfast buffet selection including some hot food - eggs and prosciutto. Lots of choice. Although parking cost E10 per day, it was nevertheless close and secure.

Review 3:The room was a bit small. It would have been nice to have one of the rooms with a balcony.

Review 4:The location was terrific. We rented bikes and rode all over town. The breakfast was really great by European standards. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning.

Review 5:We particularly liked being informed at our check-in of further options for exploring the area as well as the Cinque Terre villages. The breakfast was generous with a variety of options. Staff were very couteous and welcoming. We would stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Review 6:I wish staff was a bit more friendly, but I think it might of being a cultural thing.

Review 7:Less busy than the Cinque Terre towns, yet very close to them. Fantastic breakfast! Eggs, bacon, ham, yum!

Review 8:Towels smelled horribly like mustard! They blamed it on outside laundry service but they should have been able to detect the rank smell... Not even a room fan! They said a/c could not be turned on so there was no fan ventilation either. Terrible. I needed air flow and had to leave sliding door to balcony open which made the room very noisy. Bells rang all night long!

Review 9:friendliness and breakfast

Review 10:The room was basic... No kettle, tea/coffee making facilities. No fridge. Quieen bed was actually two single beds that did move when we did. Shower was so very small. But what the room lacked the staff, Anca and Samantha, and The delicious breakfast made up for

Review 11:Location, 100 metres from the beach, close to restaurants and shops. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful... And the breakfast was excellent and included the best selection of fruit.

Review 12:Location. Good food. Friendly personell.Easy access to the beach, hotel is situated in the middle of the city of Levanto. In free time one gets never bored, the sitting area in front of the hotel is very convenient for outdoor relaxation..

Review 13:Noise from other rooms due to thin walls and ceilings Very tiny shower cubicle even for average sized people

Review 14:Location next to beach and walking distance to train station Large rooms Friendly, efficient and very informative staff High quality breakfast

Review 15:I would definitely not consider this hotel good value for money despite the fact that it is a 3-star and not a 4-star hotel. Similarly, the car park should be offered for free.

Review 16:The location of the hotel: it is right in the centre of Levanto. The variety and quality of the breakfast. The politeness of the staff, The car park was private and safe.

Review 17:Beds were small singles, feet hung over the end, and both bed and pillows were hard. Towels were like bed sheets - though we did ask for fluffy towels which were provided. Left on the floor after using expecting a change but the damp towels were hung over the shower. Such a small bathroom - no where to put anything! Noisy both from within the hotel, i.e. other guests coming and going and noise from the street till late.

Review 18:Great location for access to the beach and easy walk to train station. Room has a balcony. Good deal on renting beach loungers and umbrella ask at reception.

Review 19:They failed to renew our toiletries 2 out of 3 days (however, when we asked, they promptly did). The toilet and the shower could have been cleaner. One of the curtains was also stained. No elevator (but all rooms on the first floor). No "Do not disturb" sign in the room.

Review 20:The hotel was very close to the beach (few minutes walking) and to many bars and terraces in the pedestrian area of Levanto. They provided a good parking place, in a private yard nearby. Good breakfast. Helpful staff; on the day we checked-out they let us use the parking space until the evening. Overall, the room was OK and clean.

Review 21:The staff were very friendly and language was not a issue. Great location (walking distance) for train to Cinque Terra and beach. Good breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value.

Review 22:None, all good.

Review 23:This is a very nice hotel that we loved staying in for 6 nights. The location is great..beach, shops, restaurants all on your doorstep. The staff are super friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. Free wifi. Levanto is a great place to stay to see the surrounding area, and will definitely stay here again.

Review 24:Hotel was stingy with small things like soap. We had one small soap for three days. Have to ask for more. Same for towels.

Review 25:Levanto is a great town. In many ways better than the towns of Cinque Terra. It's mostly flat but surrounded by a small mountain. Easy to walk or bike there. Excellent restaurants. I stayed an extra day there because I liked it so much Hotel is clean with friendly staff. Easy walk to beach and train station. Would recommend this hotel

Review 26:Rooms can be a little tight if you are staying more than a few days.

Review 27:5 minute walk from EVERYWHERE. Breakfast was always perfect. Staff was multilingual and able to accommodate any request. Bikes available too.

Review 28:All rooms are located on the first floor which makes this hotel a noisy place. The rooms toward the street have an outdoor restaurant in the front. You can actially hear what people are talking about. The rooms facing a back alley are disturbed by a really noisy air conditioning from a cinema house that runs the air conditioning all through the night. We would not stay at this hotel again.

Review 29:The shower is a bit small; which would make it an inconvenience for people who are big in size. Other than that, the hotel was great! Would go there again!

Review 30:Hotel Room: Simple and clean which is suitable for a vacation. Breakfast buffet: had a lot of diversity. Location was amazing; close to the beach, restaurants, pubs, shops and most importantly close to the cinque terre by train (few stops depending on which one you want to go to). Staff: Very helpful and friendly. Ready to give me recommendations if need. I recommend that hotel to anyone going there or to cinque terre.

Review 31:Very noisy from street activity late into the night. The hotel is on a busy street with an outdoors cafe. Not recommended for light sleepers.

Review 32:Location, free parking, good breakfast.

Review 33:They could pay a bit more attention to cleanliness.

Review 34:The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and a fresh fruit salad every day.

Review 35:Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location close to the ocean, near great restaurants, and a short walk to the train station for access to Cinque Terre. Super value for the money!

Review 36:Family of 11 had a wonderful stay for 3 nights after spending 10 days inother parts of Italy. The staff was wonderful. Could not have been morepleasant and helpful. Loved the owner!!

Review 53:location, close to station

Review 54:too noisy!

Review 55:center of the city

Review 56:No refrigerator, no balcony, small room, a dirty wall as window view. For end of october the price too high for a truly 1 star hotel.

Review 57:Breakfast

Review 58:One bar of soap for 3 days.could have used more.

Review 59:Everything

Review 60:Wi-fi did not work very often.

Review 61:Liked the location - Levanto seemed a good place for a home base. Nice town and beach. Breakfast was good.

Review 62:Nothing

Review 63:Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from. Clean, spacious room with balcony.

Review 64:A little noisy at night. Thin walls?

Review 65:Great location and super friendly staff.

Review 66:Bed was very uncomfortable and linens could be updated

Review 67:Location is fantastic and staff was great

Review 68:Very small bathing cubicle. Not the standard bath towel being used, but rather cotton cloth being used at towels. Long walk from the train station.

Review 69:Location is near town centres with good restaurants close by - staff recommended an excellent restaurant. Excellent breakfast.

Review 70:No laundry service

Review 71:This is a nice hotel in a great location, with everything close by (well, in Levanto, everything is close). Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are not luxurious but comfortable

Review 72:As has been stated in many reviews the location is excellent, the breakfast a real treat and the staff polite and helpful. We enjoyed it enough to stay an extra day.

Review 73:The location - walking distance to the beach, to the port, and to the train, in the middle of the village. The stuff - Daniela helped us a lot and was always available.

Review 74:Street noise could be a problem if you sleep close to a window on the street side.

Review 75:Location was good, not far from the beach and restaurants. The private parking was nice as well since we drove. Breakfast was good.

Review 76:Nothing not to like!!

Review 77:Primavera is a straightforward and simple hotel in comforts and decor, but outstanding in location (for hiking/Cinque Terre/beach) andsurrounding beauty. But what stands out most of all is its staff! Thestaff was so helpful and friendly. All recommendations from where to eatto where to hike was perfect for what we were looking for. They evenshipped us a forgotten parcel left in a restaurant that was closed atthe time of our departure!!! Thank you Primavera!!

Review 78:The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. They even let me practice my halting Italian on them, although their English was perfectly good. Breakfast was excellent -- I especially enjoyed the home-made marmalade. The hotel is very well located, within easy walking distance of transport to the Cinque Terre, beach and shopping, and at least one excellent restaurant nearby (I can't remember its name but the hotel will advise). Altogether, very good value.

Review 79:This family-run hotel stresses friendliness, helpfulness, and good quality. The hotel's location to the shops, cafes, and beach make it a good choice. Great breakfast!

Review 80:Shower was a little small, but fairly typical for most of Europe.

Review 81:The location is great, 100 yds from the beach and many great places toeat and shop. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and went out oftheir way to make the stay enjoyable. Levanto is a great place to baseto visit all of Cinque Terre. It was a 10 min walk to the Train Stationor Boat Dock and easy access to all other towns. Breakfast was also goodand the WiFi worked well in the lobby. Sky Cable tv was great, able toget many channels in English.

Review 82:We needed an elevator because our daughter is in a wheelchair.

Review 83:The very friendly and helpful atmosphere – our daughter has special needs, but this was no problem at all. We were allowed to use the kitchen for preparing her special food. We also like the hotel terrace were we could enjoy cold drinks from the bar. Excellent.

Review 84:WiFi did not work in the bedroom, but it was OK in the lobby.

Review 85:Very nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent free breakfast including fruit salad, bacon and scrambled eggs and all ordinary things. Near the sea and restaurants. We asked for an extra bed in a 3-bedroom and got a big room with 4 nice beds! Good privat parking next to the hotel for an extra cost. Free WiFi.

Review 86:Maybe slightly more absorbent towels, the towels they have in the rooms are a bit like sheets.

Review 87:Great staff, very helpful, excellent location, good breakfast, comfortable accomodations!

Review 88:The staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean I'm the center of town. The breakfast that was included was wonderful and made this hotel a good value. Levanto was me favorite town in the Cinque Terre area.

Review 89:Breakfast was ordinary. Can hear sounds through walls, But can look pastthis as we only stay for a few days.

Review 90:The location was excellent and the hotel had all the information thatyou need to get into Venice. Bus just down the road. Good parking. Goodamenities. Desk staff friendly and helpfull

Review 91:Breakfast was great! Very helpful and friendly staff. They arrange avery nice reserved spot on the beach with a pool pass for 15 euro. Sunnybalcony over cute street made typical small European room feel bigger.Beds were comfortable. Very clean and cheerful room. Levanto was a greathome base for us to explore the Cinque Terre and we really enjoyed therelaxed town. We had a great stay here.

Review 92:A bit small shower.

Review 93:Location of the hotel is perfect, calm street but city center with parking place, 300m from beach . You may rent umbrella with 2 sunbeds at the hotel. Easy to visit Cinque Terre by train or boat or on foot. Hotel stuff is excellent, kind and helpful. Rich breakfast ended with Espresso coffee. Useable Wi-FI. What else you need?

Review 94:The rooms above the street, maybe the towels could have been better.

Review 95:Loved the breakfast and the very friendly, helpful and multilingual staff. Our request to change rooms was so easily accommodated and the location of the hotel to the rest of the town was ideal.

Review 96:- Room in the first floor, street noises distractive late in the evening/night - Furnishing outdated - No minibar in the room - Small bathroom and shower

Review 97:- Fairly good location and access to Cinque Terre villages by train or walking path - Free wifi in the room - Beach nearby - Breakfast was ok

Review 98:Room is adequate but the shower stall is quite small

Review 99:Excellent location close to the sea. Free Wifi and parking available for an extra charge Good breakfast buffet Friendly staff

Review 100:No lift and security a little slack leaving the keys out at the back of the reception desk for all to take.

Review 101:Good location close to the beach and walking distance to station for train to Cinque Terre. Clean rooms if a little basic. Great breakfast!

Review 102:Dont take the room which is over the bar, very noisy. We asked to change rooms after the first night, and the second room was much quieter ( 116) There is no lift, no problem for us as rooms are only on first floor.

Review 103:The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke English. There is private parking next door 8 euros a night. The hotel is happy to store your luggage on final day so you dont have to leave it vunerable in the car. The breakfasts although not extensive are very good with homemade jams, baked apples, cured bacon, and plentiful coffee. Better than the 4 star hotel we stayed in earlier.

Review 104:The rooms were very comfortable and the location central to the beach and train station. This is a great place to stay and make your home base while visiting the Cinque Terre. The breakfast was amazing!

Review 105:We had a room on the streetside above a bar. At night it was very noisy.Parking is limited but not a big problem. We arrived early and had anice spot.

Review 106:Nice hotel with friendly staff. The location is very good. Very closeto the beach and a 10 minutes walk to the trainstation. Breakfast wasalso good.

Review 107:We stayed here because we wanted to visit the Cinque Terre, and Levanto is just north of that area (just a couple of minutes away by train). The Primavera was a good choice for our stay because it is fairly close to the train station (10 min. walk). The hotel is also in an area that has a lot of restaurants, so we didn't have to go very far to find somewhere to eat at night. The staff at the Primavera was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choices.

Review 108:It was right in the town which was good for shopping. The staff wereextremely helpful. The room had a balcony where we could hang ourwashing. It was close to train station.

Review 109:Great location! Friendly and accomodating staff. Wonderful breakfast! An easy walk from the beach and also the train station. When no taxi's were available due to the rain, the owner gave me a ride to the station in his vehicle. They also provide beach towels and umbrellas for the beach if you need them.

Review 110:very friendly family run hotel close to levanto beach and also near to the cinque terre. facilities were very good and staff were all very helpful and friendly. will definitely stay there again.

Review 111:We arrived at the hotel after a 9-hour train ride (with broken air conditioning). We were told that the air conditioning was broken in our room and would be repaired the next day. The room was very warm and humid, and I ended up getting serious hives.

Review 112:Pretty good location. Room is reasonably clean. Breakfast is great!

Review 113:I liked the hotel overall; I would still recommend: 1. diversify the menu of breakfast (no fun to eat same food every morning) 2. add more towels of good quality Liya

Review 114:Good location, friendly staff

Review 115:Loved everything.

Review 116:Can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Top friendly service, great location, excellent breakfast. Absolutely loved Levanto. Give it to me any day over Cinque Terre. Free wifi in our room too.

Review 117:Really, none. Just we would have liked to have gotten a room withbalcony, but I think we can arrange that for next year.

Review 118:Our stay at Hotel Primavera was just wonderful. The little town ofLevanto was charming and Hotel Primavera was in the old section of thetown, half a block away from the beach. Daniela and her family tookwonderful care of us. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast which wasincluded in the room fee. We didn't get a room with a balcony which wasa dissapointment, but our room was comfortable, clean with a queen sizecomfortable bed, free wifi even in the room They also provided usreserved beach lounge chairs, umbrella, towels, and access for achanging room and private bathrooms for 15 Euros a day at the privatesection of the beach. The beach was wonderful. Levanto is also fiveminutes away by train from Monterosso, in Chinque Terra and the otherfour villages. We will stay at Hotel Primavera again. You certainly getyour money's worth.

Review 119:My wife, two year old, and two month old had a great time at HotelPrimavera. It was in a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful ItalianRiviera. Furthermore, the hotel staff, the room, the breakfast, and theoverall service were fantastic. I couldn't have been happier with ouraccomodations. The hostess was extremely friendly and willing to help inany way that would help us enjoy our vacation. I would suggest thishotel to anyone that wants to visit the Cinque Terre.

Review 120:Small showers.

Review 121:Though giving a minimalist appearance, Primavera is a wonderful place atwhich to stay if visiting the Cinque Terre region. Levanto has a typicalseaside feel to it and Primavera is well situated to enjoy it - it isclose to the beach and resturants and is on the flat part of the town. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, their English was verygood and they were a major contribution to our stay being so enjoyable.

Review 122:The welcoming was very good, the staff was friendly, polite and very helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good, plenty- full, was the best from all the hotels we stayed during our trip in Italy. The location is in the center of the city, 3 min walk from the beach. Hotel offers free beach towels.

Review 123:The bathroom was small and especially the shower cabin, which would be a problem for a bigger person. The ventilation in the bathroom was not really working.

Review 124:Helpful, friendly, English speaking staff who provided a good map and advice on the beautiful Cinque Terre region. Central but still quiet location. Lovely room with a balcony. Good breakfast. If we have a chance to visit Levanto again, we'll definitely return.

Review 125:We were interested in Cinque Terre, and this was the main reason to stayfor three nights in Levanto - because we had a car. Everything wasgreat. Thank you, Krystyna and Andrzej
