Reviews for Hotel Garden
Review 1:Just a small problem - we had a room with balcony, but the view is opposite the beach and there is huge tree in front of our room.. blocking the view. This was below my expectation when I reserved the room.
Review 2:The location of this hotel is fantastic, a stone throw away from the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The free car park is also very convenient for travelers that come with cars.
Review 3:Would like to see tea/coffee making facilities in room. Vary the meats, cheeses and pastries (same offered five mornings in a row) although quality was excellent. For cleaning staff not to change towels each day... save planet etc!
Review 4:Wonderful staff; friendly and helpful. We were given lots of good advice particularly useful as weather was poor and we needed different activities/ walks from those planned. Balcony to dry out our wet clothes! Good quality breakfast.
Review 5:Finding the hotel using our GPS was a nightmare, we had to walk to the hotel and get a map from them and then go back to fetch our car in order to drop off our luggage. The hotel messed up our booking and had to put us up in a double room for one night, we had booked a triple room. The double room available was really not great and so they gave us a credit. Once we were in the triple room it was much better. The lift doesn't go down to the ground floor. It stops a the first floor. It can be a mission if you have heavy suitcases and you're female.
Review 6:They have free parking near the train station which is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The surrounding restaurants and stores are reasonable and the food was good. Levanto has a quiet vibe that is good for relaxing and great as a base for Cinque Terre. This hotel was much nicer than the hotels I looked at in Cinque Terre.
Review 7:Levanto was such a laid back town. Short walk (pedestrian/bike only) to Bonassola was relaxing and easy. Good access via train/ferry to Cinque Terre.
Review 8:Car park was quite a long way from hotel and didn't seem very secure, but it was free! The breakfast was not great, not much choice or good quality.
Review 9:The location was great, right in the centre of Levanto. The staff were generally very friendly. The room was big, nice bathroom.
Review 10:Sheets and towels need renewing as they felt like cardboard.
Review 11:The location of the hotel was good. Close to shops and the sea front and a 15-20min walk to the train station. I required soya milk for breakfast which wasn't available. The staff however went straight to the shops to buy some and have it on my table within minutes - excellent.
Review 12:We thought we would prefer to stay at Montorosso but got accomodation here. It was perfect and location was great. Parking for the car and public transport easy and close. The staff went above and beyond in helping us with our needs e.g Cinque Terra and extending our stay and where to eat. Would stay here again!
Review 13:too much noise! The hotel is on a very busy road and it was impossible to sleep before 1am (best case scenario) and after 8am because of the noise.
Review 14:Good location
Review 15:The parking is pretty far from the hotel and it doesn't look like parking at all. The breakfast was quite poor, only three kinds of cheese and two kinds of sausage, coffee didn't taste good.
Review 16:The stuff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a good vicinity to the sea and shopping area (including a small supermarket). The soundproofing of the rooms is good as well as air conditioning.
Review 17:If you are arriving by car make sure you get clear instructions on the checking in procedure. They have off-street parking but it is a fair way from the hotel and can only be accessed once you have checked in.
Review 18:Excellent location, friendly and obliging staff, very clean and a reasonable breakfast.
Review 19:Breakfast is exactkly the same day after day, so if you come for more than two days it becomes boring.
Review 20:Room was good, though not so very big. very clean, good big bathroom with a pleanty of towels. very helpful personel.
Review 21:We stayed 6 nights and the breakfast never changed. Only 1 type of yoghurt, limited fruit.
Review 22:We enjoyed the non touristic feel of Levanto. Our triple room had a wonderful view of the street - great people watching.
Review 23:Soundproofing is lacking. Heard the lady in the apartment digging her high heels early every morning. Also a few guests on the hotel floor a little noisey waking me up too early
Review 24:Right in town and close to some good restaurants
Review 25:We stayed here when we first came to Italy. We loved it so much that we cancelled our original hotel on our last night in Italy and stayed at the Tulip to have better access to the airport. Staff is fantastic
Review 26:The double bed was actually a queen. Very roomy. But pretty hard for our old bones. Also, for the breakfast, for some reason the woman in charge would not allow us to toast the rye flat bread, only the other breads. Too bad, because that bread is superb toasted.
Review 27:Location, staff.
Review 28:The balcony was not very clean or welcoming, a little table outside would have been more cosy
Review 29:Staff was very friendly and helpful, fridge in the room much appreciated. Breakfast great! Bicycles for hire
